I've stopped at this location a couple times before and I was going to shop across the street so I decided to stop for breakfast. I always seem to get good sandwiches from Wawa so I figured this was a safe bet. I use their app and place my orders online and then I pick up inside the stores. I was early and walked around inside, considering getting something to drink, but decided to stick with the water I had with me. I have to get used to the fact that the stores now have a separate pick up window around the corner for mobile orders. I was standing out front waiting for my order and happened to look up and see the sign for mobile orders around the corner. I walked around the corner and they had bins with nothing in them and a gentleman waiting. I stood there and waited as I was still early for my pick up time. A lady came out with a bag from the back and went up towards the registers, and when she came back, she gave the bag to the gentleman who was waiting and then asked me if I was picking up an order. I said I was and gave her my name and my sandwich was just off to the side on the counter. She offered me a bag, but I was good. I could tell immediately the most sandwich was nice and hot. I got my car and went and found a spot out of the way. I do feel like their sandwiches have been getting a little smaller, but mine was made to order and tasted great. If you're looking for a quick somewhat inexpensive meal than Wawa can be a good choice. Where they get you is if you buy extra things like soda or chips as they tend to be more expensive on those. Let me start this by saying that when Wawa opened up here in Florida, it was a genuine time for a celebration for us northeasterers (is that the correct term for people who are from the northeast?) that had moved to sunnyny Florida and knew what a Wawa was and associate Wawa in their memories as much more than just a gas station. For me, what I think of most when I remember Wawa is their deli desk where they offer a slew of good food items and the most embraced item is their subs, which they call hoagies since the majority of Wawa's are centered around the Philadelphia area and a hoagie is what they call a sub. Are they great subs? Well, there are definitely better subs our there, but Wawa offers a solid sub, especially when you consider that they are coming from a gas station. My go to-sub at a Wawa is usually their Italian. Actually, pretty much my go-to sub anywhere is an Italian sub. All in all, I would definitely recommend Wawa for either a gas station or to grab a little snack. As an added bonus, that deli counter is open twenty-four hours a day. Oh, another added bonus is that Wawa offers their air for free. All in all, Wawa is a great place to head to. Popped in this establishment for fuel. Most Wawa are similar so it's quick to access. Usually don't allow my fuel to run totally out so popping in these places helps with keeping up my duties. It also allows you to stretch your legs and move around instead of being in the same position for to long of a time. read more

I gotta tell you!!! There has to be something said about an employee that works there! Her name is Carmen you'll know her by her loud mouth and great sense of humor she's always on point always happy and brings a smile to everyone she meets weather they be local or just passing through! Yea the food is ok when the kitchen staff doesn't screw up your food or puts their own twist on the food that you order. The coffee is great I must say when they keep the thermos filled. Wawa is more than a gas station and convenience store. If you've never had a quick sandwich you are definitely missing out. I love the Italian and the Turkey Club. I think the best part is the bread for the Italian - there must be some secret ingredient because it's really good. The toppings are always fresh and piled high, which adds to the already high value. I don't particularly enjoy their avocado spread. Something about it tastes too chemically, but my friend enjoys hers. The mac and cheese is also pretty good. Seems like one that used to be in the frozen container when I was younger. Definitely nothing special, but still good if that's what you're in the mood to get. read more

I'm usually a huge fan of any WaWa store I go to no matter what state I'm in. This one unfortunately fell a bit short of what I'm used to. I usually always grab a tuna salad sandwich jam packed with all kinds of veggies and tuna salad. Only disappointment here is that they didn't put much tuna salad in the sandwich like I'm used to in any other wawa I've been to. Plus side is that staff are very friendly and fast with service. Went in for a frozen beverage and noticed the hot coffee station next to it was full of flies, I go to a worker and let them know but she didn't seem to care so I go up to a lady with a black shirt ( assuming it is a manager and she will give me response) she responded aggressively and rude " we have a call in for it!" I was very disappointed and told her there is no reason to be rude to me I just wanting to let you guys know. Clean, brand new and large selection! Who knew Wawas existed in Florida?!?! I am originally from the Northeast and Wawas were everywhere in NJ-- but relatively unknown beyond. Imagine my surprise when driving through Orlando and voila!! A Wawa!!! Of course I had to stop!! Wawas are just convenience stores, like 7-11s, although this one had a gas station as well. Very convenient place to stop when heading towards the highways. 16 gas pumps outside, convenience store with coffee, snacks, and microwaveables (with a microwave to heat items up) and dozens of other warm options. Bathrooms are spacious and clean. Service is fine- nice cashiers. Will have to remember this spot on our next drive through town! read more

Great location, in a very busy area. Always packed.This WaWa"s seems a little smaller to me than the other locations. Love the free air. Drives me crazy that other stations charge for air. Like the outside dining tables. Usually the tables are all taken when I stop by so they must be good. Love the way you order your sub here. Computerized system that is extremely easy to use. Also, order drinks on here. I like the prepared cut fruit in the middle case when you walk into the store. A quick good fast treat. Love the cheese sticks. Their brand of ice tea/lemonade is the best. Love the freestyle soda machine for .79 for what ever size. What I don't like about this location is the fountain area seems not clean and kept up enough. The bathrooms for sure need to be attended to more often. Also customer service here is lacking. I am for sure a fan of WaWa's but this location needs some improvement. read more

A few months ago, I would have given this Wawa 5 stars for sure. The place was immaculate, the thick shakes and smoothies incomparable, and the hot food good. Options were more than plentiful when ordering at online terminals. Pastries put Dunkin' Donuts' to shame though a bit higher priced, but worth it! Pickup was a bit confusing within the store, but ask if it's your first time. Security is not evident and I could see where customers could easily bolt out with "the good(ies)." My following visits to this Wawa were similar, but my last two showed it to be very dirty with plasticware, food remnants and the like strewn beneath the food prep/pickup areas, the floors dirty, and the bathrooms following suit. Some staff (hot food) were killing themselves while other stations (cold drinks and shakes) were unmanned. All this left a very bad taste in my mouth, if not yet literally. Barring the delicious chocolate cookies 'n cream thickshake and excellent coffee, I'll probably never return to this locale. They need to get their act together. I still wonder where the manager was that day, but he needed to put a whisk broom and mop in his hands. If things get worse, 1 star will be too high a rating. Awesome place! Such a great atmosphere. People always hold the door for each other, say hi, and share a smile. Their coffee is simply amazing and they often have it on sale for like 99 cents or something similar. They also do free coffee days! Love their self serve specialty coffees like the churro flavored one or mocha wake up. I do agree that it is often very busy, but they have attentive staff who do a fantastic job at trying to help everyone as quickly as they can while still being personable. here is your fair warning!!! please be aware my friends and eat here with extreme caution!! i walked into the 5035 s. obt wawa store number 5124 next to home depot in poinciana for lunch and had to be admitted to the hospital for food poisioning after eating an italian hoagie bowl with no bread. it seems others below have also been sick if you scroll thru the reviews, not one person but entire families!! i called the manager darlene to report as a courtesy that i was sick, her response was it's impossible to get sick at our location as we change everything every 4 hours!! really!! well, guess what darlene? i don't believe you!! and my hospital bill says so!! i ate at your location at 12pm cramps started at 1:30pm thru 6pm, diarreah and vomiting from 7pm to 9:30pm, i was given 3 bags of iv fluids, robinal for stomach cramps and zofran to stop the vomiting from the food i ate at your store!!! i would skip this place and head anywhere else if i where you. be safe. read more
