    Bo's Chicken Biscuit Combo

Ooo! Okay... here we go. Tried Bojangles for the first time, and let's just say... I was NOT ready! First things first--customer service? Yeahhhh, don't expect a warm welcome. No "Hi, how are you?" or "Thanks for stopping by!" Just straight to business. Honestly, kinda funny lol. I kept my order simple: the chicken biscuit sandwich and Bo-Tato Rounds. The potatoes babyyy? Crispy, flavorful, 10/10 would snack on them again. The biscuit? Soft, buttery, solid. But the chicken? SPICY. And not just a little kick--one bite in, I saw red (literally, above the chicken was red lol), and I knew I had made a mistake Turns out, this is normal? And if you want non-spicy, you're out of luck unless they carry the homestyle version (which apparently, not all locations do thanks, to Google). The lemonade? A lifesaver forreal. Overall, I'd give it a 7/10--great flavor, but my mouth was on fire, and I couldn't taste anything after that first bite. That said, I do think Bojangles over Raising Cane's in the flavor department. Just be prepared for the spice!

Was super excited that a Bo was opening near home. Then, found out today (1st opening day) that NO Florida location sells traditional bone-in chickens!! Don't know why not but very disappointed. Still, the employees were friendly and helpful. My family meal took about 20 minutes which isn't too long. The tenders were crispy outside and super tender inside. The dirty rice tasted a bit salty and the fries were ok. The biscuits were soft and fluffy inside yet crunchy outside. The self serve sweet & unsweetened tea don't have much tea flavor. My family prefer bone-in fried chicken but if we were craving tenders, Bo would be up top.

I had an exceptional lunch at this location. The service was off the charts. I was greeted immediately and felt like I was with family. All questions and concerns were answered with a friendly smile. The food portions are large. Food quality was perfect and exactly what I would expect from a Bojangles. The atmosphere was calm and clean. They show a great respect for the military. It is truly appreciated

Honestly, i was very excited about this place and it didn't disappoint…read more I ordered to go through the drive thru, there were no other cars, the staff was really friendly and efficient. In and out in about 5 minutes. As for the food, we got 2 - 2 piece meals, 1 roasted and 1 fried, the roasted chicken is so flavorful, it has a lemon herbs marinade flavor, delicious. The fried chicken tastes homemade, amazing! The coleslaw has a little (a lot, if you don't like spicy food like me) kick to it, but it's edible, my partner loved it. However, I didn't give it 5 stars because i wish they gave more fries, and the family size is pretty small, maybe for a family of 2 or 3 MAX. The fries were basic frozen store bought thin fries, they were a bit stale, not crispy, so maybe next time I'll try a different sides like the plantains and rice. Overall, it's decent and has potential.

First of all when a Restaurant opens there should be a GRAND Opening atmosphere for customers with…read moreopening specials and smiling employees making the place welcoming & inviting. That did not happen! It just felt as the usual, casual entry into a fast food joint with unhappy employees making it through their shift. They weren't rude or mean- just not cordial. IMO a Chick-fil-A Customer service training would do this franchise a huge favor. Now! to the most important! FOOD! I can't comment on the sides- I only bought chicken to take home. I bought 8 piece rotisserie and 8 piece fried. The rotisserie chicken tasted like it was marinated in vinegar over night- It should be called -VINAGRETT CHICKEN - instead. TOOOOOO flavorful, to overly seasoned. IMO the "rotisserie" would be great if the vinagre and the season were reduce. 75% less vinagre and 40% less season. IS THIS rotisserie chicken better than KFC, La Granja, Walmart or Publix? IMO - NO- all the others are better. I'll place Publix rotisserie as #1, Walmart #2, La Granja 2 or 3 interchangeably and Pollo Campero #4. The fried chicken is also way over seasoned. AND If you ask me- Is this fried chicken better than KFC, Popeyes, Walmart or Publix? The answer is a resounding NO. For me (though I can't stand Popeye's business model) their fried chicken is #1 (through I don't go to them anymore) they need an ethos change. Publix and KFC are either 2 or 3 interchangeably and Walmart is #4 - with Pollo del Campo coming dead least. Lastly. PRICE!!!!!!!!!! I paid for 2 boxes of 8 pieces of chicken each. Which should have included (though I'M NOT SURE) 4 breads and they were not given to me. I paid and that's chicken only without bread rolls. $40.31 taxes included Conclusion. If Pollo Tropical which I liked and was price reasonably didn't make it - I highly doubt that Pollo Campero will. My best wishes to them as I cannot in good conscience either recommend or visit again. This is a personal, honest review. Again I wish them well.

I walked into Slim Chickens with dangerous levels of optimism…read more Big mistake. Before going, I watched a video on their website where the founders were talking about how, when they came up with the concept, they noticed other chicken tender places in the South "weren't doing it right." Now, they didn't say Raising Cane's by name, but come on. We all know who they were side eyeing. And as lifelong Cane's lovers, that got my attention. Because if you're going to throw shade at Cane's, the food better come out swinging. It did not! It came out dry, bland, and exhausted, with a texture that somehow managed to be overcooked and underwhelming at the exact same time. I didn't know you could ruin a chicken tender. I thought chicken tenders were one of those foods with a built-in safety net. Apparently not. Slim Chickens found the trap door. Then came the sauces. I asked the cashier what sauces he recommended since it was our first time. His response was basically, "I don't really like the sauces." That should have been my cue to turn around and go find literally anything else to eat. I tried the Slim's Sauce, which he described as ketchup and mayo with some herbs. That description was unfortunately accurate. It tasted like someone tried to reverse-engineer a good chicken sauce from memory while trapped in a break room. It was flat, boring, and nowhere near the level of Cane's sauce or even KFC's sauces. The garlic toast was another crime scene. Thin, wrinkled, cold Texas toast that looked like it had been toasted earlier that morning and then left to think about its choices. Calling it "garlic bread" feels generous. Calling it "bread" was already a stretch. The fries were those fake "hand-cut" freezer-section fries with the skin left on, like they're trying to convince you somebody in the kitchen actually touched an actual potato that morning. They were hard, overcooked, and tasted like they had been holding on for dear life under a heat lamp since opening. Not rustic. Not fresh. Just sad fries wearing a costume. And the atmosphere? Weekday lunch in Celebration, and there were maybe two people eating inside. That should have told me everything. A chicken tender place at lunch should have some life to it. This felt like a franchise location already rehearsing its goodbye speech. The funniest part is Yelp has this place sitting around 4 stars, but when you actually scroll through the reviews, there's a suspicious little cluster of glowing 5-star posts from "Elite" Yelpers around the same time. Maybe they all just happened to have the best chicken experience of their lives in the same week. Maybe.... All I know is what we were served was nowhere close to 5 stars. It was barely close to lunch. If the founders really built this concept because they thought other chicken places were "doing it wrong," I have some bad news: Raising Cane's can sleep peacefully tonight. KFC too. Slim Chickens didn't reinvent chicken tenders. They reminded me how badly simple food can go when nobody in the building seems excited about it. With Cane's expanding all over the place, this location better figure something out fast. Because if this is the product, I don't see Celebration celebrating it for long. I'm giving two stars, and honestly, those stars goes to the cashier for telling me he doesn't really like the sauces. That was the most helpful and accurate thing served to me all day.

So you can imagine how happy I was when they decided to open a love bird in Winter Haven just a few miles from my permanent office. I think this location is even better than the Lakeland location because it is a little bigger than the parking lot is much better. They still have that absolutely fabulous crispy fried chicken that is so delicious. I love that you can cater it to your personal spice level. I like mine medium, but my mom prefers hers with no spice. Their fried chicken stays crispy even when it gets cold. Sometimes I'll go and grab myself some lunch while I'm at work and then get some fried chicken to take home to my husband for dinner and it's still crispy and juicy and fabulous. I also love that they have a meal that was invented for me. My favorite thing to order is called, The my girl ain't hungry. It consists of one giant chicken, tender in your choice of fried or grilled with a side and a drink for eight dollars. It is the perfect portion for me. Now, when people come to visit me in Winter Haven, lovebird is always one of the places I recommend we grab lunch.

After my order was ready in about 15 minutes, I sat at an available table to enjoy my meal. The steamed cabbage was tasty with a crunchy texture. The rice and peas was cooked to a soft consistency. The plantain were fried nicely. The star of the show was the chicken--tender pieces of meat covered in a sweet flavored sauce that had me sucking my fingers.
