This review is kind of for Wawa in general, but keeping the Sunrise Blvd location in mind. That said, The Wawa on Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale is an excellent convenience and gas station. From the moment you arrive, it's clear Wawa's are managed excellently. The shelves are always well stocked, the property is usually spotless, and there's an abundance of gas pumps and EV charging stations to accommodate every type of driver. The staff are consistently attentive, courteous, and efficient -- a rare combination in a busy location like this. And the food selection? Outstanding. The made-to-order subs, crafted via an intuitive touchscreen system, allow for endless customization and are genuinely sub shop restaurant-quality. Recently, Wawa has even expanded into fresh pizza and limited delivery, showing just how far beyond "typical gas station" this brand has gone. All in all, this Wawa is a model of convenience, quality, and service -- one of my favorite stops for fuel, food, and everything in between in my work travels all over Florida! Of all the locations in Fort Lauderdale area this is one of the most busy Wawas and yet somehow it closes at 11 PM when there are other wawas that are dead slow but they will still stay open for 24 hours I literally arrived at 11:01 pm and as I was walking in I could hear them on the loudspeaker say "Thank you everyone, Wawa is now closed" and I'm like "what the hell it's a Friday night and they close at 11 PM!" SMH This Wawa On sunrise blvs would get a five stars if it's stayed open 24 hours like every other Wawa and the owners should be ashamed when this location is their busiest Wawa .. Closing at 11 PM on a weekend is horrible business I've been to Wawa from New Jersey all the way down to Florida and this is the first time in my life in 20 years that I've seen a Wawa not be open for 24 hours. read more

Pretty much all Wawa locations offer free air for your tires. Since one of my tires was low, I drove here to get some air for my tires. When I approached the air pump, the valve pin was missing. I went inside to ask if they had one to put into the air pump and the lady said that many times the homeless people break or steal them during the night. Unfortunate situation...knowing that this is a frequent occurrence, you might find the same issue if you stop at this particular Wawa for air for your tires.... I suggested to place an "out of order" sign out on the pump. read more

This particular Wawa is a good bit above average. Staffers are friendly and it's incredibly clean. The checkout cashiers are both hilariously sweet, on several different visits. The neighborhood is slightly dangerous after dark. read more

I order a smoothie almost everyday at work and I notice the delivery cups actually hold the smoothness to the smoothie! I go into Wawa ask for that pacific cup and the lady who fixing smoothies says I can't give you that cup! it's only for deliver. Every time I come in this place, i'm always greeted welcome to Wawa . Clean friendly. Sandwiches come out great and smoothies.

I come to this location, 2 W Sunrise Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311, at least twice a week, first thing when they open at 6AM to gas up my car, purchase coffee, and sometimes a snack. Today was the second time I filled up with gas in the past four days and when I went to use the windshield cleaner/squeegee, the one at pump 5 was not only missing the squeegee, but the reservoir was bone dry. I checked a total of four, and all were bone dry. I politely mentioned it to the person at the cash register when I paid for my coffee. They didn't seem to care. These reservoirs should be filled every morning and checked throughout the day. I also hope the company adds a windshield cleaner to the water, too. Anyways, I've been a Wawa customer for years and will continue to be...I believe in constructive criticism, and the current promotion of 15 cents of per gallon is a nice perk. read more

A Wawa that closes?? Why is this place. It 24/7?? The gas is still active all night, but can't buy food or use the restroom.

I got a chicken salad which had a lot of romaine lettuce, tomatoes and croutons and a mound of chicken salad on top but it was so packed full it was hard to mix it up. So after I finished the chicken salad I had a bowl full of lettuce and no dressing. Otherwise OK. The clerks are somewhat curt and sarcastic plus the neighborhood is seedy so not a good experience overall. Too bad. read more

Absolutely the worst Wawa I have ever been in especially for food. The order is never correct, it's never timely and the folks working their could care less. Been there 4 times so far. I order and Italian sub they wrapped up a tuna sub; I took it back and they STILL messed up and sent me away with a turkey sub. How, just how do you screw it up so badly? This Wawa hasn't even been open for about 2 months if that and this is the second time I come for something and they don't have it. I wasted 15 minutes of the start of my shift to come for breakfast only for them not to have waffles or eggs and the last time no syrup for waffles I paid for you would have thought they would tell me earlier!!! Not to mention I am I came here I ordered bacon and waffles and when I got home I discovered that I had not one piece of bacon with the waffles. Not a half not one whole one none there was no bacon at all. Like it's 7:30 in the morning you open at 6! How don't you have eggs!!!! I'm driving the opposite way on my way to Burger King. I will be late for work, however I will at least have something to eat after wasting time AGAIN and for the LAST time at this Wawa location. #ridiculous read more
