I recently visited New Jersey and was wowed by this awesome gas/food station. I wish I would've brought my phone into the establishment to take pictures but I wasn't thinking this place was anything special so I left my phone in the car. I was wrong. The establishment is super clean. There are kiosk located where you can look at menus and choose your food of choice. And I must tell you the two times I' visited this establishment, the food was excellent. Fresh sandwiches, the macaroni and cheese was on point. Salads were amazing, great fresh fruit, huge beverage choices. This chain has everything you could ask for. I'll end by saying their employees were awesome, from the hard working staff making those sandwiches so swiftly, to the bright and cheerful staff at the checkout registers. We stopped here to pick up gas on the way to six flags adventure and use the restroom. Since we were early and the park didn't open until 5:30pm. The gas station attendant was friendly and workers were generally friendly Wow, the women's restroom was filthy. Clogged toliets and the floors looked filthy. Yah, it's a gas station bathroom but come on. Someone should be checking to make sure it's clean every hour or so. Buc-ee is way cleaner. read more

Their coffee is almost always hot and super fresh. Of course their sandwiches are tasty as well, but if you do not get the subs, the regular sandwiches tend to be small. Still tasty, fresh ingredients. I really like their smart layout here plenty of healthy snacks too! Sometimes the wait feels long for those custom sandwiches, but it's worth it usually. Stopped here on our way to the In-Laws. We were looking for something to eat, so I picked up a panini for her, and a rice bowl w/ chicken for me. The whole ordering system was done via kiosk -- it displayed the various options, but the pricing was confusing. You then had to go back to the main counter to pay, then back over the area where your sandwich was being made. The total for those two items (plus a bag of chips) was over $13. Not sure why it was so much (I never did get a receipt), but I felt like we experienced some minor "Highway Robbery". My wife's panini was good, but my rice bowl was pathetic. Was just a no flavor chicken breast on top of some bland rice. I'd only stop at this Wawa again for a panini if I was desperate. My recommendation is to keep on truckin'. read more

We hit this Wawa up before and after visiting Six Flags Great Adventure. They have clean bathrooms and a wide variety of anything you could wish for at a convenient store. They have milkshakes, coffee drinks (hot, frozen, iced), tons of quick grab and go items. This Wawa in particular has the custom salad option on the ordering screen which was pretty awesome! If you're not familiar with Wawa you can use the touch screens to order coffee drinks, sandwiches, salads etc. Bring your slip up to pay and then they will call your number out at the sandwich counter when your items have been prepared. Make sure you pay first because they don't release your food items until you've paid. Gas was on par with the area as far as prices go. It's a must stop after the park! read more

Useful little Wawa here. Sells tickets at $39.99 a pop, slightly cheaper, but just get a twelve-pack of coke and bring a bottle over to the Six Flags park. And don't be a jerk and break open a case to steal a can. I mean, really. Food service here isn't bad, though the register service is unconvincingly excited... more like bored. We stopped by Wawa twice. The restroom was clean with plenty of toilet paper earlier in the day. But it was quite a mess with no toilet paper at night. So I guessed it depends on your timing. I like the huge variety of food available here, plus they are made to order hot food. The BBQ cheesesteak I had was really good. Just key in your order using the touch screen panel, get the printout and make payment at the cashier before going to the counter to collect your food order. Great system. If you are going to Six Flags, you must stop at this Wawa before doing anything else! This is a larger location that is also equipped with a gas station. Prices are cheap and most of the time you can find a 2 for 1 deal (K-Cups, Iced Teas, etc.). Everyone here is friendly. They have a HUGE supply of Tasty Kakes. The hoagie (I hate saying that word) station is guaranteed to be packed if you go in the morning before everyone heads to the park. They also offer their own milkshake station now, and as always Wawa coffee is readily available to wake you up for the day ahead! So this is a place I always come to right after Six Flags because it's so close and it's always open haha. Anyways, they're pretty good at being well composed for having a HUGE amount people being in front of them, waiting for their order; BUT there are a couple of things to point out. 1) The kiosk doesnt tell you your total, which was fine since i thought id get a receipt at checkout, but the checkout lady was in a huge rush and she just tells me to pay and was onto the next person before i can say a word.. what.. the.. heck.. 2) the bathroom was not the cleanest... there was an empty bottle of soap in the middle sink with no soap in the soap dispensers... what.. 3) the wait was pretty long but i get it, there's like 20 orders and only 2 workers.. but the food was not good LOL so it was a lose-lose. Only thing that was good was the mango banana fruit smoothie with yogurt and the cookies & cream milkshake that we got for $3.49 Plus, I wished they had seating SOMEWHERE but I guess I'm asking for too much haha read more

Why can't we have a Wawa in NY!! So much better than 7-11's for several things. They make fresh made to order sandwich, tons of coffee variety and lots of cold and hot snacks. Now to this particular Wawa....it's less than an mile from Six Flags so at the end of the night it tends to get busy but the staff keeps composure and keeps up with the orders and the wait to pay is rarely ever an issue. My only issue is someone needs to keep up with bathroom Maintainence. This Wawa also has a gas station so it's a one stop pit stop. Too bad I only come here when I go to six flags. read more

I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt they doing their best. However I overheard them talking I realized they messed up my order but fixed it without serving it. On my way home from LBI I took a wrong turn and ended up on the road that led to this Wawa connivence store..... It was late and I really wanted a fresh cup of coffee. I pulled in and went inside. This Wawa had pretty much everything u could want. There was a section where they made homemade sandwiches and subs to order. There was a coffee and drink section.It served up several different types of hot fresh coffee from house blend, Colombian ,Kona, decaf, dark roast, even herbal teas. I was intrigued so I got the Kona blend. Wawa had every kind of flavored creamer, half n half , reg. Milk, light cream. U name it they had for ur tea or coffee. I added french vanilla creamer. I was very happy they had it in quart size. There's nothing like trying to open 4-5 little creamers just to lighten ur coffee... I must say this cup of coffee was one of the best I've ever had. I am a huge coffee drinker and always prefer Italian or dark roast. I was very happy continuing on my travels.... This Wawa sold every kind of cold drinks, snacks and chips . It was a bit overwhelming to see all the food... At the check out counter they just put out hot soft pretzels individually wrapped... The pretzels were delicious! I noticed they also sold gas at a decent rate but I didn't need any at the time. My overall experience was a positive one. I will definitely be visiting another Wawa. read more

This is a gas station/convenience store the way they all should be! First of all, lots of pumps, and usually fully attended. They usually do not top off. If you didn't know, topping off is bad for your car. Attendants usually do it to squeeze a few cents more out of the sale. Second of all, the convenience store is super convenient! They really do have everything! As sister pointed out, it is akin to the 7-11 in Taiwan, except it doesn't have computer/fax services. Finally, super clean! This place gets lots of customers, yet they somehow manage to keep it all very clean. I love their ordering system, where you can use a touch screen to have your food made to order. I often stop by this gas station when I come down to 6 flags! What do I most want for this place to improve? Provide 91 octane gas! Wawa is the staple convenience store in the NJ, PA, DE area. I highly resent someone stating that it's a glorified 7/11. The deli counter at Wawa makes the greatest sandwiches, soups, and meal bowls.
