Considering I live on the west coast (born & raised in California), I find it quite refreshing to visit a "Wawa" location. The review I am focusing on is (just south of New Brunswick) located directly off of Route 130 & Klockner Rd in the Hamilton township of New Jersey. Keep in mind that I am no stranger to Wawa as I have been to several of their locations in the Pennsylvania area. Since I needed a little pick-me-up, this was the go to spot for a refreshing iced coffee. This location is 24-hours as this makes it convenient to grab a bite to eat for those that work odd hours. In addition to that, they offer ample parking and a full-serve gas station (with regular gas/diesel). Remember, you are in New Jersey where the attendants must pump your gas. Furthermore, this Wawa offers a deli (selling hoagie sandwiches), breakfast sandwiches, and a full-on coffee/espresso area with a ton of customizable options. I will say that many follow a coffee hack at Wawa can save you a ton of money in the long run. You simply grab a plastic cup, fill it with ice, then pay for two shots of espresso. And then the rest is complimentary (which includes milk, creamers, syrups). I was able to get a large iced latte for only $2.50 (which is significantly less than a Starbucks or Dunkin). The options here are quite impressive and if you're a coffee lover like myself, this is a deal that is too hard to pass up. In addition to the coffee, beverages, breakfast/lunch/dinner, and hot/cold food options, this place offers a huge variety of items that you can buy when on the go. This includes snacks, candy, medicine, oil, alcohol (beer/wine), cigarettes, and just about everything you need to without needing to go to a major supermarket. Additionally, this Wawa has two very clean public restrooms. During my visit, the staff/employees were very friendly. All in all, the Hamilton "Wawa" is a decent place that I recommend. I've been to this Wawa quite a few times... I found that the service here was quick and I've never had a problem... The staff has always been friendly and helpful... Coffee is always fresh and if the pot is empty they will brew another when asked... I'm sure that the food here is good but I can't say because I've never had anything made here... As I've said about other Wawa's in my opinion it's become a fast food store, similar to places like Subway and Quick Check... Hamilton!!!! read more

I was buying my usual sub at Wawa, I just looked for the price of Doritos, decided to not want to buy it, so I cancelled purchase on the self-kiosk. Then this cashier was like "ma"am your purchase didn't went through" and I told her that I wanted to cancel the purchase. She then again called me ma'am a couple more times and that I told her that I don't work here, assistance from Wawa can handle the self kiosk machine. This hurts to do. The fact that my family has been going here 4/5 a week for years really cuts deep, also not to mention my dad stops here almost every morning for coffee But I have to do it. This is the only time I've had a problem with Wawa. It was a night trip around 30 min away from my house. My and my mother went in and I got a cream cheese stuffed pretzel and munchkins. The cream cheese pretzel was on my mind to try for a while, my sister said great stuff about it. So I B get that and munchkins. Now the munchkins were fine. A bit dry though but good for the most part. I unwrapped the pretzel waited for it too cool Down took a bite. And it was hard and stale in every awful way. 2.39$ for that down the drain. Had to eat around that stale parts which was around half. It hurts to do this Wawa. I'm sorry but this pretzel was not okay. read more

I'm incredibly disappointed by this wawa. I ordered a quesadilla, and waited 20 minutes while checking emails. When I realized how long it had been, I inquired as to where my food was, and was told that they hadn't even started to make it, because their system didn't show that I'd payed. Thia wawa is usually on top of their food... but tonight I got chicken noodle soup, as I always do, and it had MAYBE 10 noodles in it. I typically ask for extra bc this has happened in the past. But it's been good recently I haven't had to... but come on guys. read more

This is brand new so they get quite busy. The people there are friendly with great service. Gas prices are of the lowest on Rt. 130 and they don't upcharge for using credit cards. read more

I am a supervisor at the Post Office across the street from this WAWA we are the late shift. Thank god for all the friendly people that work over at WaWa its always very clean and well stocked. The employees are very pleasant especially since its late at night or early in the am that we are there. And your gas station attendants are always available I've never had to wait for gas. I'm giving it 5 stars for John the gas attendant. I've never seen anyone work as hard as him anywhere I've ever been. He needs to teach the kids today about work ethic. This is the closest Wawa to my house. I was extremely pumped when it opened and it hasn't disappointed me yet! I make a stop here at least one a week. It's clean and the food I order is always delicious. They are also very good at keeping the grab and go hot foods by the counter stocked at all times, which is not always the case at different Wawas. Store# 8342 This is the newest Wawa in our area and its conveniently located directly in front of my job...in walking distance. Myself and fellow co-workers frequent this store being we are all Wawa fanatics but each time I visit, the customer service seems to be getting worse and worse. No one is friendly, no one seems to enjoy their job in the least bit, they all look miserable and arnt exactly up for helping you when you need something. The last 4 visits I had there was something completely out (i.e. coffee cups, coffee cup "jackets", hot cocoa, creamer) and each time I politely asked someone behind the counter for help I got mean looks. I'm still going to be a loyal customer as I enjoy my Wawa coffee and the convenience of the location but I would really suggest more in dept. customer service training and staying on top of items that need to be restocked. Worst Wawa ever, I'd honestly give 0 stars if possible. The only one I've ever been to and they had NO COFFEE AGAIN. Are you kidding me?! Have been there in the mornings when everyones going to work & at noon/lunch time, how do you run out of coffee?! They take FOREVER to make any sandwich you order, mess it up half the time (ordered turkey & cheese, was given an italian last screw up), during peak times when the place is full only one cashier. After waiting in line forever thats when they decide to open another register. You're on a busy highway in a highly populated area, why the hell would you have one cashier only ever! Around 7 am if you want a sizzli, this is the only Wawa I've seen none out most of the time. Absolutely ridiculous, just disgusted by this Wawa at this point.
