Inside the wawa is much like any other wawa, this location is less cleanly than other locations inside and their food is not as great as other locations but I gave this location 5 stars solely for one reason, GLEN! Glen is a gas attendant, he is the sole reason this location gets 5 stars! No matter what time of the day it is he is ever so pleasant. If you're having a bad day stop by and get some gas from Glen he'll bless you with an unrivaled kindness and his angelic smile.

It's a pay first before you get your sandwich. The croissants was of a different shape than a regular shaped croissants but same taste.

Isn't the margin on cigarettes and Red Bull egregious enough to not require fuel prices that sit fifteen cents above most stations in the area. But I digress... Most noteworthy as the store where Bill & Ted began their Excellent Adventure, Circle-K is not a huge brand on the east coast but it certainly runs circles around the uniformly moribund and grotesque 7-11. The first thing you notice is that the place is clean and the coffee station doesn't look like it belongs in a prison commissary. As of yet I haven't mustered the courage necessary to try the pre-packaged food but perhaps that may happen one day on a dare. Or, perhaps not. It's not quite Wawa but it will do in a pinch.

They do not carry fresh Asian vegetables, sadly, but they do have an International aisle that carries some, and the main focus was on Mexican spices and tortillas, etc. The butcher section is one of my favorites. I was looking for pork belly and did not feel like going all the way to Edison, NJ. I saw their pork belly beautifully cut, but it was not as thick as I would like. I saw the sign indicating I could ring and speak to the butcher. After briefly asking, he cut it to the perfect thickness, and I will be able to make my sticky braised pork belly. They also carry a vast array of spices, so I was able to obtain my Five Spice here. Before I forget, they have an amazing cheese section. Some are precut, and there is a person at the counter who can cut you a fresh cheese wedge for charcuterie. Overall, a great experience at the local grocery store.

The variety of foods is a great selection. I think they could improve their health food section with more options, I have better luck in the Aberdeen store with a good selection of health foods. The cooked food is all excellent and lots of options. We also love the fresh coffee beans, it smells so good in this section of the store. We switched our Pharmacy to this Shoprite as well, and the Pharmacist, Shefali Patel, is the best Pharmacist we have ever worked with. She goes out of her way to help every patient and definitely prioritizes her customers and their needs. She is an exceptional provider.

I also like that I can get fresh clams already in a container so I don't need to shuck them myself, which is very easy for the clams in white sauce. Staff at the fish section are always friendly and if I am not sure about a fish/shellfish, they point me in the right direction for what I need for whatever recipe I am making. Meat section is expensive, but I like the cuts and the freshness of the items, they have fresh rabbit which I am huge fan of eating in stew. Lamb is also very much a staple so they have plenty of options, bone in, bone out, chops and legs. Produce is everything I need especially hard to find items like lemon grass. I do like the pre cut fruits so they have watermelon and mango which is perfect for lunches and after dinner dessert. Deli section the guys are very nice and always slice what I need, sometimes I ask for the end pieces and they are ok with weighing and wrapping it, I have been to other markets and they give attitude or refuse to weigh and wrap it for me. If it is the case, it can be sold!! So, is Wegman's a little pricier than other markets, yes, but you really can't surpass the quality and variety of items. I shop here twice a month and on average spend between $250.-$400. depending on shopping needs for the weeks food items. I also have to add a comment on the restrooms, I can only comment of the ladies, once I made the mistake and went to the staff ladies lounge restroom.. but both the public and staff are clean and well stocked with the basics.
