So I've been a customer for years yesterday really did me in. I have been calling and following up about my medications. On Monday I was told they'd be good for tomorrow which was Tuesday July 28th. I called in the morning and the girl said they'd be filled for later not an issue. My dad was running late from work so I hopped an Uber and took a train down to long branch walked a couple miles both ways. But instead of the girl telling me no cant be filled till tomorrow the 29th they have me show up and waste $40 that I dont really have just to tell me NO all I can do is apologize. An apology just doesn't cut it. If they cared about their customers they would take responsibility for their fuck ups they should've reimbursed me the $40 again been coming and giving business for years. But when they fuck up they are never held accountable. ( we all know how pharmacies work it can either be filled or not , its not that hard to see no it cant or just to ask the pharmacist. Thats their job not mine. I went off of the employees and again id called the Thursday prior when my scripts were sent over. Called Monday and Tuesday morning. I did my due diligence and no one could seem to tell me no not till the 29th. ) so im urging yall to go and find another pharmacy because when its your worst day they are not gonna give a shit or hold themselves accountable. The owner Carlos obviously doesn't train his staff well and was a complete asshole. Agreeing that the situation is wrong but yet you dont wanna make it right. Hypocritical shit just saving face. You own the Place right im a customer ​yall fucked up and you should've made it right. I will tell everyone of my experience and urge no one to choose this pharmacy and too look for a new one before its too late.

I've had horrible interactions with pharmacists just being rude and judging me and telling me what my doctor should or shouldn't be doing, I hated the experience, I dreaded it but since going to Tony's I have had such a BETTER/different experience. The women that work there are very friendly and helpful. The pharmacist is very professional and kind. It makes my day a lot better dealing with a pharmacy that treats there patients with respect and now a days with walgreens, cvs and other local pharmacies i.e; that makes you wait 1 hour after you call them 2 hours prior so you don't have to wait but when you get there to pick it up its not ready and they say we will start it now but I called you 2 hours ago so I didn't have to wait 1 hour ( there not a big chain but I don't want to say the name because I don't want others that go there to be treated worse which will happen if they see this and unfortunately, a family member needs there meds but the woman that was filling it was extremely rude like I was shocked she acted that way after spending thousands of dollars...but we know we can't say anything or they just won't fill it) which is so unprofessional but my point is Tony's has none of that you don't have to put up with attitudes and very questionable pricing. The store itself has beautiful gifts and a lot of animal friendly things to buy. If you need a better pharmacy or pharmacists that treats you with respect and doesnt act like your bothering them please switch if you can. I wish I went to Tony's Family Pharmacy a lot sooner! If they don't have what you need but can order it they will tell you right then and there and keep you updated. It's very hard to find a pharmacy with out the stress and I know now there is at least one in Monmouth County. Thank you to everyone that works at Tony's Family Pharmacy!! I really appreciate it and can now see these other pharmacies could care less about you and your health. It's not you that's the problem this is the career they chose if they have a question then contact the doctor they shouldn't be taking it out on you. As a patient we don't even see the script and once its sent to one pharmacy majority of the time you can't switch it to a different one the doctor has to but we are just trying to get our medicine 99 percent of people aren't trying to make anyone's life harder. Sorry for the very long review but I have dealt with pharmacies just being so ridiculous but it was a blessing in disguise because I have zero complaints about Tonys. They are great!!!!

What they failed to disclose is that they do not have a Medicare Identification Number, meaning you cannot be reimbursed by Medicare for any purchases made here. This is critical information that should have been communicated upfront. Be cautious if you plan to submit claims to Medicare.

My youngest requires compounded medications due to their extensive medical needs. Lenny and everyone there always gets it right and always reaches out to the doctors and insurance if they need any additional information. Lenny's also helped the rest of our family to track down very important prescription medications that no other pharmacies could obtain, not the big box pharmacy chains and not even the few small independent family pharmacies close to our home. They always go above and beyond to help. There was one time a few years back when Epi-pens were impossible to locate anywhere. Lenny happened to have some in the pharmacy and set 2 aside for my son and I as he knows what severe allergies we both have. We hadn't contacted him looking for them but he knew from our records that was something we definitely both needed. I was very impressed at how far they went out of their way for my youngest and I. Consideration and kindness like this is not something a big box pharmacy is going to provide. I've also found a number of hard to find non-pharmacy items there, like unscented deodorant, unscented soaps and other similar products, dye free OTC medicines and different DME products. The prices on those items were excellent. We live out by Fair Haven but I'd drive anywhere for service like this. I can't recommend them enough!
