I've been going to Waverly since 2024, and have been having excellent visits every time. Funny enough, I've even referred several friends here over the years now, and all of us have had consistently solid experiences. What I love is that there's been no pressure for unnecessary procedures and they always provide solid tips. I've left with clean, shining teeth and a comfortable experience each time I'd argue that what makes this office stand out most is the staff. I see many of the same friendly faces each visit, and they always take the time to remember your name, what's going on in your life, and even set Alexa devices to whatever radio station you want so the appointment feels relaxed instead of clinical. I also decided to do clear aligners through them using the Reveal Clear Aligners system. I had been on the fence for years, but saw this recommendation as it was more affordable than Invisalign and other options I looked at, and the results were great for closing gaps in my teeth. I never even got the chance to become a patient because of my experience with the front desk. At first, everything was great. Scheduling my initial appointment was easy and went smoothly. Later, I needed to reschedule, and that's where everything went downhill. Beware they also want to charge you if you don't cancel on time...makes sense why they don't work with you when it comes to that. I called and Priscilla put me on hold for about 11 minutes without saying anything or giving me an update. I eventually hung up because that's way too long to leave someone waiting. If she was busy or the only person working, all she had to do was communicate that or offer to call me back from the start. After that, I called back twice from my phone and no one answered. Then I called from a different phone, and suddenly my call was picked up right away. At that point, I was frustrated that I told her to just cancel my appointment. I understand people get busy, but from my perspective, my calls from my number were being ignored. That's not how potential patients should be treated. The owner should be aware of how the front desk is handling patients because experiences like this can drive people away before they ever step into the office. I had a great experience at Waverly Dental. The facility is clean and modern, and the dentist, hygienist and assistants were excellent -- very friendly with great bedside manners. I really appreciated the full transparency regarding services and costs; they discussed with me in detail a breakdown of the procedures performed and the pricing, which I found very professional. Pros: * Clean and welcoming facility * Excellent dentist and hygienist * Transparent communication about services and costs Cons: * The front desk experience could be improved. When assisting with my paperwork, it would've been better if the receptionist finished helping me before attending to another person -- especially since there were two staff members at the desk. Add on: I wasn't not too happy that asked twice for an itemized copy of service rendered and was told it would be emailed. It did not happened. I had to walk back to the dental office to obtain a copy. * They didn't offer a dental kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, floss), which I usually look forward to as a nice finishing touch and a sign of patient care. Finally a dentistry *experience* that combines excellent service AND aesthetics. Everyone from the techs to the dentists to the owner was kind, knowledgeable, and generally really enjoyable to speak to. As a new client, I had my teeth x-rayed and individually checked via a process that seemed very thorough. The subsequent cleaning process was quick and easy! I also needed to get a retainer made since the permanent retainer (lingual wire) I had snapped. They had this very cool tool that essentially made a 3-D scan of my teeth - so much better than gagging on the goo stuff to make an impression of your teeth... Finally, as a first time visitor, I received a free teeth whitening. This is where I would say Waverly earns it's Instagram handle, @mouthspa. I literally fell asleep during the process after they dimmed the lights and played some relaxing music. In 2022 I switched to Waverly. I honestly love this place. They are informative, kind, and most importantly patient. This includes the staff and the doctor. I had to get a deep clean and was freaking out about the local injection. Dr. H was so kind and made sure I had tissues on hand(sis was afraid y'all). The hygienist are great teachers. They have shown me how to take care of my gums/teeth better out of the office. I was trying a new dentist as the one in my office building no longer accepts Cigna. I had called to schedule my basic yearly cleaning a couple of weeks ago. I have been sick since Monday, and have been trying to call to reschedule. The 2 phone numbers I have are both not working numbers anymore. I had a long convo with the dentist re the way the front desk had been handling billing, detailing how I'm told I won't be charged when I make the appt but am *always* charged for something new when I arrive. She was kind about it and we got some things cleared up and the issue seemed to be a woman at the front desk. Then my hygienist came in to put numbing cream on my gums. After the hygienist left, it got VERY uncomfortable. The front desk woman comes in and says "are things clear to you now" and I'm staring at her with cotton in my mouth due to numbing. I point to the cotton, she continues to rant at me while she puts on gloves and proceeds to *remove the cotton front mouth* and interfere with the numbing, then aggressively continues to say "is it clear now? Are you clear?" I was staring at her like ... this some weird intimidation tactic bc I feel genuinely unsafe. The fact that she felt comfortable walking in, pulling out cotton that was put around my teeth to keep them safe from the gel, and then treating me like I was dumb was deeply unnerving. I would be *very* careful before going here. If I go back, I'll need to make it clear to the dentist that this woman cannot be allowed in the exam room near me. The best dentist experience I've ever had! The environment is calming and luxurious - when entering your pod the hygienist will let you choose an Amazon Music station you'd like to listen to. The doctor is prompt and does a thorough assessment without any sense of judgment. The whitening treatment is amazing! They have a high tech system that allows you to be in and out in 15 minutes - I went three shades lighter during this time. I have really sensitive teeth and didn't feel a thing because of the great numbing cream my hygienist put on. Lastly, on your first visit they'll send you home with a customized kit of products to maintain your visit. Cannot recommend enough! read more

Staff is extremely friendly. Really appreciated that. It's a gorgeous space. They ran on time with everything. No surprises with pricing, very transparent. Huge plus! I've been hit with surprise charges at dentists before they were very unappreciated. I feel like they did a really great job balancing giving you a lot of information and showing you options without pushing you to buy things. There are products and services that they offer that I'm genuinely interested in and they were great about answering my questions and giving information without pushing. I need time to research! I do feel like calling this a mouth spa is a bit of a stretch. From the marketing I expected there to be some thing a little bit different than my normal dentist. It's definitely a gorgeous dentist office, but they aren't offering anything that a normal dentist does not. They talk about pampering you and welcome you into the spa, but there isn't anything that is actually "spa like". For example, they could offer a hand massage while you sit underneath the whitening light. They do play spa music but it's very loud in there so it's not overly relaxing. Or they could offer a scalp massage after your cleanings. Just something that would make this more of a pampering experience. Their whole mission is to take a hated chore into the modern era. But having a nicer facility doesn't accomplish that on its own.... you have to do something really different than a normal dentist! Overall though, very satisfied. I feel like the quality of care was very good and I made my next appointment to be back in four months. I did achieve a shade whiter with my whitening treatment! And the cleaning was thorough and meticulous. Also, having appointments on the first Saturday of the month is a HUGE plus. I was looking for a place to get my teeth cleaned and whitened without breaking the bank, which is how I found Waverly. After booking an appointment online and paying out of pocket for the two services, I decided to read the Yelp reviews..... whew. Honestly, I thought about cancelling my appointment because of some of those one star reviews (and responses). But let me tell you, I am SO glad I didn't!! Every single person was so wonderful and pleasant to interact with, from the front desk ladies, to the assistant (Karen), the hygienist (Vicky), and even the dentist herself. They were all very genuine, upfront, and honest about every step of the appointment and made sure I was always physically comfortable and aware of ALL costs (what they will bill insurance and what you pay out of pocket). The cleaning was great and thorough, Vicky was fun to chat with and she even took extra time and care to get some leftover orthodontic cement off of my teeth from an old permanent retainer. I unfortunately had to reschedule the whitening portion of my visit due to getting a cavity filled, but even the drill & fill process was surprisingly quick and almost completely painless and I'd rather reschedule a cosmetic procedure to maintain the overall health of my teeth. I also purchased their Wave Kit on their recommendation, and when I got home, I noticed that there was a small issue with some of the products. When I called the office, the front desk lady knew exactly what I was talking about and was very apologetic and offered to send me a refund without any hassle. I am hoping that I can pick up another one at my whitening appointment, but they can also ship it to you which is convenient! I came to Waverly by way of an Instagram promotion as many others have, I suspect. I came for my whitening and felt very comfortable. I loved the staff. And I left. Fast forward to a year and a half later, and my longtime dentist stopped carrying my insurance. And where did I go? You bet! I honestly believe I have found the perfect dentist for my needs. While some may feel they're just a number at their dentist, I feel like I could easily go to lunch with the staff at Waverly (and would like to!). They're immensely friendly and they care about me both in respect to my dental health and my personal life and goals, from the front of house staff to Dr. Haque, herself. HIPPA VIOLATIONS, "INFLUENCER" MARKETING, LIKELY PAID-FOR REVIEWS I waited months to post this review but after speaking to someone else who was considering going here and rehashing my experience with them I figured I should say something on Yelp for anyone considering going here. It is clear that a lot of the positive reviews for this place come from Instagram "influencers" who are offered free services in exchange for social media posts. I'm not really sure how the company determines who influencers are.. I personally know one girl who has 2k followers and they offered her free services, hence the quotation marks around "influencers." Anyway, the company gives out free services in exchange for positive reviews and you can see this without even going to Instagram just by looking at how pretty much all of the positive reviews on here are by Yelp Elite (the equivalent of a Instagram influencer). I know this is common practice for products and restaurants, but I think this is a shady practice for a (slightly) invasive medical procedure. MY EXPERIENCE ...was terrible, I waited in the dental hygienists chair for 40 minutes before any one checked on me. At one point I got up to check to see what was taking so long and they acted like they had no idea I had even been waiting... which is because they actually didn't have any idea I was waiting (wait for it). Once the hygienist finally came in to the room she checked all of my gum lines, determined I had no cavities but apparently the gum between two teeth in the back of my mouth was too unhealthy for them to clean my teeth (which I found out later was b.s.). They then proceeded to try to sell me $1000 worth of services. HIPPA VIOLATIONS As they were pointing to "my" medical chart and talking to me about the things "I" told them in my intake call in order to explain to me why I needed to spend $1k I noticed I was looking at SOMEONE ELSES MEDICAL RECORDS (hence why they had no idea I was there). I pointed this out to the hygienist so they are very aware they violated HIPPA. This is when I determined there was no way I was letting these people perform any additional services on me. After I left two hours later (with none of the services I booked provided) Nick (I think one of the managers) called me offering the $1000 service for a deeply discounted price, I imagine because he realized how badly his office had messed up. Everyone else on here is complaining about how rude Nick is but he was honestly pretty kind to me, as was everyone else in the office. Despite the nice people, if you are needing dental cleanings please go to a real dentist office that acts professionally, is organized, doesn't try to pressure you into expensive services you don't need or show you other peoples medical records. read more

Setting up an appointment was quick, paperwork sent via text and Nick got me in sooner-even better. Wait was less than 5 minutes and I was taken back with Paola for x rays, and the hygienist Vicky was so gentle with my gums and answered all my questions! Dr Nazia was super friendly and professional, she made sure I left with a care kit. The entire visit was so smooth and relaxing that I almost fell asleep. My experience was horrible. If I could give 0 stars, I would Being new to the area, I did not have a dentist that I loved and when I chipped my tooth, I needed to establish care somewhere. I called Waverly Dental and they were fine over the phone, told me that they could make the repair of my tooth. I told them that the chipped part was already a bonded tooth and they said as long as I didn't need a root canal, I would be good. I drove 45 minutes each way to get there, arrived, spent 30 minutes filling out forms, sat down in the chair, Dr. Haque came in and asked what was going on. I explained, told them I had had Invisalign in the past and that's why two teeth were bonded, one had chipped, etc. She took a look for literally 5 seconds, said they don't have the resources to do any bonding, repairs, etc and referred me out. She closed the appointment by saying, "but if you ever want to come back for invisalign, we would love to have you." I was flabbergasted. I had drove 1.5 hours round trip, after calling and being assured they could do what I needed, to only find out they could not. And then they had the audacity to recommend I come back for Invisalign when I already told them I had it in the past and she looked at my teeth and they are PERFECTLY straight. I felt like a number and a $ to them. When I left, the lady at the front was confused why Dr Haque said they couldnt repair the tooth and sent me on my way. She texted me 10 minutes later telling me I owed $5 for the appointment. FIVE DOLLARS..... Seriously? I called them after this text and asked why they had told me they could do something that they did not have the resources for... she said that she talked to the Dr. and because I needed a crown they couldnt do it. Dr. Haque said NOTHING about needing a crown and it seemed that they knew they messed up by telling me they could do something they couldnt and wasting my time. She then said okay, so how would you like to pay the five dollars? Ridiculous. I responded back and told her I wouldnt be paying them anything because all they did was waste my time. read more

The dental hygienist and the dentist were very professional and provided great recommendations with some of my teeth sensitivity. Waverly is the ultimate dental experience. You notice immediately upon entering the building that it feels more like a spa than a regular dentist's office. The studio itself is stunning, super clean, and I was greeted nicely when I walked in. Don't let the looks fool you, their prices are beyond affordable, essentially the same as your traditional dentist's office, I would say I was treated much better though. I had the enlightenment service which is the cleaning and whitening combo treatment. The hygienist Brittany was super sweet and gentle and took excellent care of me. Dr. Danna was awesome in explaining recommendations for my future oral care, then Maribel performed the whitening and was quite attentive making sure I was more than comfortable during the entire treatment. I was trying to find a dentist that was close to me and found waverly and that my insurance covered them. It's always a little nerve racking going to a new dentist for a cleaning and checkup but the office looked so pretty and I didn't see any crazy bad reviews so I was hopeful. Unfortunately they said they couldn't do a cleaning on me:that I had bone loss, gum recession, enamel loss and a deep infection in my gums and that I would need a procedure. This procedure of course would cost me extra and be a 2 day deep cleaning. I was stunned and overwhelmed by all the information as well as concerned about my health. So I decided to sleep on it. I ended up getting a second opinion just so I could feel confident in whatever I needed. I went to Turtle Creek Dental Associates and thank God I did! They saw nothing close to the damage that Waverly said I had. The dentist spent an hour with me examining my teeth and gums. He said if anything I had some gingivitis and to remain diligent in my oral care and coming in for cleanings. I ended up only needing a regular cleaning and was all covered by my insurance. I would say to be extremely cautious if Waverly is claiming you need work done. I would suggest getting a second opinion just in case! read more

They make you think you are the only patient they will see that day even though they are booked. Waverly reached out to ME and i booked an appointment for Feb 6th. Then, I reached out on the 1st to move to the 13th. A full 5 days in advance (cancellation fee says 24hours). Received NO RESPONSE. On Feb 3rd, I reached out again to cancel my appointment on the Feb 6th. A full 3 days in advance (cancellation fee says 24hours). They finally shift me to my requested date on Feb 13th @ 10am. On Feb 12th, 8:37am i reached out to cancel my appointment because of inclement weather that's been happening in Dallas and they responded with "will it rain or snow?" I don't know about you but what company let alone business responds that way when patients need to reschedule appointments? Waverly is not OWED an explanation to my cancellation. Additionally, my appointment is Saturday and i'm reaching out Friday again 24 hours before and NOT violating any cancellation policy. Not only is no ZERO empathy to the fact that people lost their lives on the road YESTERDAY in a massive 133 care pile up, they only seemed to want to prove that they are correct in that the weather is not inclement enough to warrant a cancellation. DISGUSTING! The owner of Waverly reached out to me and I was feeling much better and headed to remove my original review. Then i saw their comment & response. They've now accused me of "defaming their brand" because i left honest and accurate reviews of my experience with them (along with screen shots), they are now staying that i've violated their policy THREE times in FOUR weeks which is a flat out lie. I was skeptical of the "spa" experience, but I have to admit it was the best dentist experience I've ever had! I have gone to MINT for five years and always felt like while they were cheap and efficient, I didn't understand how to properly care for my teeth and how to maintain my health. I was always in and out in less than an hour and never felt truly clean. The hygienists and dentist at Waverly are amazing! Everyone is extremely personable and takes the time to make sure you have your best smile and feel good thought out the process. PROS - super beautiful space. The dentist was extremely nice and gentle while also informative. I also got my teeth whitened by Ashley D. and she was so great! She played music to help the time pass and was diligent about checking in with me to make sure everything was great. CONS - the dental assistant seemed to be new (not her fault), but she was extremely slow in doing some of the work. A lot of it was extremely uncomfortable for me. She also was extremely rough and missed a portion of my mouth (I think due to her taking so long and needing to move on). The pros outweigh the cons for me, so I do recommend this place. I do hope though that they will do some more training with the dental assistant. Update: I have to update this down to 3 stars because I haven't heard a follow-up from anyone regarding my experience with the dental assistant. Throughout the entire process with the assistant, dental hygienist, and dentist, I felt at ease and was even given some professional opinions about things not on my radar! Amazing new approach to dentistry. Modern, clean, and friendly staff make this my new go to for teeth cleaning and whitening. I have been looking at alignment options and their explanation on how the trays will work and that thier doctor will have periodic check up to make sure the treatment is getting the best results is what made me choose them!! This is a cool concept that still has a lot of kinks to work out. I booked my appointment online and found that to be a smooth process that allows you to fill out all a lot of paper work online (my personal preference). The day before my appointment, I received a call where I was asked if I could come in 50 minutes earlier than my appointment (so instead of a 10:20 appointment, a 9:30 am appointment on a Saturday) . I said I only lived 5 minutes away so that wouldn't be a problem. When I arrived at 9:30, there was no one at the check in desk. The office itself is gorgeous and clean. It definitely has a "wow" factor esthetic but it was odd to stand and wait around for 5 minutes. Someone eventually came to the front and I gave them my name and sat down in the waiting area. I ended up waiting for my appointment for over 45 minutes which was frustrating because I'd much rather have kept my original appointment time. A man I later found out was the founder eventually asked me if I needed anything and explained a hygienist had a family emergency. I totally understand emergencies but for me it's all in the recovery. I wish they'd called me that morning and told me to delay coming in. Then I asked for a tissue and they weirdly didn't have any, even in the bathroom which seems odd for a spa. When my appointment started, it was a bit frazzled and like your standard dentist's visit. The x-ray machine was cool but I was a little grossed out when I was asked to hold my cheeks open with my fingers without being offered a sink/gloves/hand sanitizer. Most dentist offices use a spacer for taking photos of your teeth but they didn't have any. The other oddity was the number of waivers you have to complete. I've never had to sign so many waivers in my life but every time another person came into the room there was another waiver. I must have signed 5+ while there and had already filled out all the standard medical history, hippa, and consent forms before arriving. The procedure room was extremely cold and I could hear all of the other rooms. EDM music (instead of spa music) bumps through the office. By the point my actual cleaning and whitening started, I was pretty cranky and still wanted an opportunity to wash my hands. The hygienist, Liz, really turned around the visit though. She was delightful and did a great job. Dr. Lee was also very approachable and answered all my questions. The woman who whitened my teeth (I can't recall her name) was so incredibly sweet and could tell I was nervous. She was so customer oriented and did a great job with the procedure. The cost effectiveness of the whitening also contributes to my willingness to come back. I just felt that the front office is not well run, a 45 minute wait without any kind of effort to make it right is unacceptable, and I was a little concerned with their covid protocols (or lack there of). I'd also hoped for a more relaxing and spa like experience, this was basically just going to a pretty dentist office with loud music.
