After a few weeks of sessions multiple times a week, I could sleep at night without being interrupted with severe back pain. After several months of treatment, I no longer needed the DRX. I go there once a week now for readjustments by either Dr. Farrago and Dr. Biase. Both doctors taught me some back strengthening exercises to work on at home or at the health club, and doing them keeps the back pain at manageable levels. The friendly and outgoing medical receptionist, Martha, sends me weekly texts, reminding me to schedule an appointment. It did nothing. Dr Desing started to treat me for inflammation in the piriformis muscle. This muscle is in the gluteal region. 30% of people the sciatic nerve goes through the muscle not around it. So when it gets inflamed it puts pressure on the sciatic nerve. I was in so much pain until Dr Desing started to treat me for piriformis muscle inflammation.
