After a few weeks of sessions multiple times a week, I could sleep at night without being interrupted with severe back pain. After several months of treatment, I no longer needed the DRX. I go there once a week now for readjustments by either Dr. Farrago and Dr. Biase. Both doctors taught me some back strengthening exercises to work on at home or at the health club, and doing them keeps the back pain at manageable levels. The friendly and outgoing medical receptionist, Martha, sends me weekly texts, reminding me to schedule an appointment. Danielle and the other office staff are also terrific, assisting the doctors with the readjustments by applying heat to my neck and back. I highly recommend Great South Bay Chiropractic.

I had horrible sciatic nerve pain. I could barely walk. The orthopedic doctors said it was bulging…read moredisks. I have slightly bulging disks on that side. They gave me a shot in the back. It did nothing. Dr Desing started to treat me for inflammation in the piriformis muscle. This muscle is in the gluteal region. 30% of people the sciatic nerve goes through the muscle not around it. So when it gets inflamed it puts pressure on the sciatic nerve. I was in so much pain until Dr Desing started to treat me for piriformis muscle inflammation. I have found a dr that does not charge me a copay which not only helps my back but Bank account. But my biggest complaint is there lack of customer service relations when your no longer a patient. I have called numerous times and never receive a call back, have gone to the office twice and still get no response from the dr and conveniently have lost my records. I'm sure if my call was to come back as a patient they would have not had that issue. Its been over a year that I started calling. Atleast have the curtesy and make a return call. For any one seeking their services please do yourself a favor and request your records before leaving the practice.
