They told me the cash price was about $700 and without a medical insurance approval pre-authorization I would have to pay cash to get in quickly. I was originally told I would receive the results of my lumbar spine MRI within 3 days. It is now OVER 2 WEEKS and I still haven't received the results. I've tried to contact the office via phone calls, and email, but have not received any response. The first time I called their office someone picked up the phone, didn't say anything, and hung up. Wow has this place gone downhill. I arrived to be told they were running 45 minutes behind schedule. The people in front of me have been waiting over an hour. So, I'm sure it will be longer. I wish they made appointments for xrays. I entered the line at 10:30 am and the waiting room and hallway were both full of patients. They told me it would be a 1.5-2 hour wait and that they would call me by phone. This part of the waiting process makes sense. They called me at noon to come in. I came in and they said I couldn't get an xray until the technician returned from lunch. They said they tried to call me to tell me but I never received a call in 8 minutes it took me to drive there. It took an additional 45-minute wait to get an 5-10 minute xray completed. That's a total wait of 2 hours with the added frustration of miscommunication. The website says the average wait is 20-30 minutes. When I called RadNet to file a complaint and request that they offer appointments, they send me in circles to Downey's phone tree. read more

This rating is about the calling center. Ever since RadNet/Wave Imaging started using workers from foreign countries to schedule appointments, it has been a disaster. There is a language barrier. You can tell they are reading off a script and if anything comes up outside of that, they can't answer the questions. They don't know anything outside of what they are reading. They can't answer questions about the scans, preparations, or billing. They will put you on hold for a long time because they have no idea what they are doing or how they are supposed to help you. I have been doing business with RadNet for years. I usually have a good experience. This is horrible and sad for this company. It is like there is no customer service available. I feel sorry for the people at the actual facilities who have to deal with the wrath because of the incompetence of the people at the calling center. Please run!! They will get you in fast. They won't give you the information you need. ( they were more interested in the potluck and the party they were going to have. You DO NOT GET get your results in a timely manner. 30 days???!! Totally ridiculous. Total care is 48 hours. My doctor is questioning the results I was given. I'm going somewhere else now to get the re-read They have no radiologist there to help you or read results. They say come get your imaging ... no report no radiologist to read it. Waited 18 days!! They also don't tell you to fill out paper work when you're there to get your results whenever that may be finished They need to get their act together. 1st time here and maybe the last. I came here due to a follow up on procedures that needed to be done. Appointment was at 9:10 am. I was told I'd be called in like 5 minutes. It was 9:45 am and I asked if they were running late. The receptionist said I was next. Then at 10:00 am I was called. I changed into the gown was put in a room and waited another 10 minutes. Finally the tech did the procedure and then was taken to another room for another procedure. There the girl was aggressive. She said nothing even when I stated it hurt too much. She kept quiet and when she was done she said to wait outside in my robe while the doctor reviewed my images. Waited another 20 minutes then the nurse said come back in 6 months. So I was like ok , then I changed and she said wait here . I waited again for another 10 minutes or so and finally was able to go home . So why am I never going back?? Well I've been to so many of these locations and this is by far the slowest place I've been to!!! I was hungry and annoyed! I was done by 12:00, not cool !!! read more

I can't believe how no one is talking about the condition of the facility. While getting X-rays I looked around and saw what looked like portable a/cs being stored in the room, half the light covers on the lights were missing, there was literally duct tape on the curtains, paint splattered on the wall and chair... they gave me a step stool to use to get on the table and the thing was covered in paint and dirt like it had been in a broom closet for years, there was black residue on everything (you know when you peel tape off something and it's still sticky and dirt gathers on it after time) that was everywhere. I the dressing rooms had lockers to store your stuff in while you were having your X-ray done, but they only had the key for only 1 locker. Luckily I had that 1 locker, but it also meant my phone was locked away so I couldn't take any pictures beyond the dressing room. The people were nice but I felt like I needed a tetanus shot walking out of there. I immediately called my insurance and reported the cleanliness and condition of the facility. read more

This is all about Jenny: I had a loss at the beginning of this year and finding out I'm expecting again,I stressed immediately and wanted a ultrasound to confirm the heart beat. The tech who performed my service is not worthy of this 5 star review but this isnt about her Jenny, the patient care rep, was so nice when I found out my images would not be ready for a whole 3 days, Jenny went above an beyond with lots of empathy when she heard my last pregnancy was high risk. She fixed her coworkers mistake, apologized for my negative experience with the ultrasound tech and kept in touch with me until I got my images. She even pointed out my child's heartrate providing me an immense peace if mind. What Jenny has what medical professionals are lacking in the industry, something you can't teach. It's a natural want and need to help and I am extra Ulta greatful for whoever put this sincerely fantastic woman in my path. For she stopped me from stressing, ultimately made my entire month. Jenny you will make a fab addition to any obgyn team. Any doctors practice would be thrilled to have someone who likes their job and enjoys helping people. I had a scheduled appointment at 8:15 am 3/18/21! I was scheduled for an Abdominal and Pelvic exam! Paid $145 out of pocket. They only did abdominal! Referral was clear! They said they could not accommodate me that I had to make an appointment online!!! I came back to the Facility that afternoon with my paperwork (they already had)! My appt was for 2:30! Had to go here today for a stat X-ray and it was full house, no social distancing. People were sitting in chairs that were not 6 feet apart. They have 2 pencil cups at the front desk one marked Dirty and the other Sanitized however people were pulling pens from the Dirty and from the Sanitized and putting them back into the Sanitized, the ladies at the front desk don't even pay attention. Also there was some homeless person asleep in a chair and again the front desk doesn't even care. I'm giving it a 2 because the X-ray guy was kind. After speaking to WaveImaging, they confirmed they are short staffed and readings can take 7-10 business days. This is something that is completed at most facilities in 1-2 days. I would not recommend WaveImaging if you need timely results or a place that cares about your time. They should tell you prior to your appointment that they cannot do their job in a timely manner or on schedule. read more

Feb 11, 2018 Well once again very dissatisfied with this place. Found out they had my CT Scan sitting there since Dec 2017. I had been calling to find out when I could get my scan done. I was told I had a bunch of orders to be done....they told me about my mammogram which I did Nov 2017? I told the guy it was done then he says it had to be done Noov 2018. Here I am thinking they hire these idiots to work in health care, really? I call this location and had a great girl assist me after explaining to her the problem. The girl who's name I did not get said the doctor wanted the CT done Stat in Dec 2017....I told her I had been trying to find out where my order was? So she asks me to come in Feb 15th and I said okay. The next thing she says is could I come in today at 4? I said yes. I was told get there at 3:45 pm to check in the girl told me since they wanted this to be high resolution they only do it at this location. I say the young lady who assisted me gets 5 stars and the man who performed my CT Scan gets 5 stars but overall this location gets 1 or minus zero stars. Please, see my list: 1) They still have no proper indicators to show patients where to go. I sat in the hall due to the waitig room being over packed. I saw every person come in walk all over looking for the room. It was sad you are sick wasting time looking for the room. 2) The place is dirty and should be torn down, it was like being in a welfare or county clinic I pay too much for my insurance to go to a dump like this place. 3) They are always triple packed they need to stop making so many appts., why should we be made to wait when we are on time? The waiting room is so small they have the chairs touching so gross. This place is absolutely the worst possible place to get your testing done. Not only were they an hour and a half late to take me in from my appointment time. The nurses are rude and not good their jobs at all. I came in to have a CT scan and no only did I get stuck a total of FIVE TIMES, there were multiple nurses holding me down and one nurse dug the needle And ROTATED the needle trying to find the vein. Then he had the audacity to BLAME ME for the IV not sticking. This place is terrible and I'm absolutely traumatized. I've had multiple CT and MRI scans done in life and NEVER have I encountered a problem where I needed to be stuck for an IV that many times. I am newly pregnant. I went in today for my first ultrasound. The first technician was very nice. However, another tech came in that must have more imaging experience and she was the rudest person EVER! I asked to see a picture, get a print out, SOMETHING, ANYTHING but no. I asked just to even look at the pictures and she completely dismissed me. This is my first child and I am appalled at the way she treated me! Note: I understand she can't provide medical info regarding the baby such as health, etc. but just to even have ONE picture would've been nice! read more

I went in for an ultrasound and Heidi the office manager told me my doctor had ok'd a mammogram. I had just had a full mastectomy and reconstruction and was to never have a mammogram again in my life. This office if horrible Wave Imaging committed malpractice and would not even speak to my doctor about this. She called several times and was told my issue had been taken care of. Long story short, my doctor DID NOT ORDER A MAMMOGRAM FOR ME! Fraud was committed and they claimed my doctor sent over an order for one. This DID NOT happen. They charged me for the test and I had to pay for it. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS! THEY ARE DANGEROUS! They are affiliated with Rad Net. I am going to file a complaint! read more

She did not explain the procedure, was careless when performing the procedure, and ignored my feedback about pain until I GRABBED the instrument with both hands TO STOP HER. Their billing department is the worst! I called six times and gave them my insurance information. United Healthcare Oxford said that I do not have to pay out of pocket for x-rays. They didn't know how to bill my insurance company. I finally had to get someone from my insurance company to speak with them directly. I called again after they were paid by my insurance company and they still did not halt collections. They sent my bill to collections and it lowered my credit score. Make sure that they bill your insurance company immediately. I have been calling them to get this resolved since September 2020. I do not recommend them. I was sent for an ultrasound to check for CANCER and yet it has been a week and a half and several nurses from Dr. Chaos office have contacted you to please send the TV ultrasound report-yet nothing. My doctor cannot order any further tests until he has that radiology report in his hands. Please send them to his fax (The right one, not the one you have on file which is wrong)... Finally an employee informs patients in the lobby and myself that their receptionist is not in at this time and they're sorry for the inconvenience in addition they moved location and don't bother to put a bulletin for patients to read announcing such changes. So not only did we wait in vain. I was given an incorrect address, called 5 times before I got through to someone to provided correct up to date address for X-rays. Arrived at said facility at 8:30 they inform me I won't be seen until 10:15 am due to X-ray service start time. It is now 11:30 am and I've been informed I'll be waiting another 2 hours. The front desk and appt setter should be replaced because they have no communication whatsoever and when I showed up the appt was for something completely different than what I had set it for. Therefore wasted my time to fill out papers. I think they make you fill it out to just waste everyone's time. They asked me what I'm there for I filled out what my dr. Told me I'm there for and they said that's wrong & to fill it out again. If you know, then why are you even asking me. The system could be way improved. I had the best experience here! I had my first mammogram in 2016 at a very well known, extremely elite breast center in long beach & I have to say my experience was absolutely terrible. I put off getting my yearly check up it was so bad. I switched doctors & ended up choosing this location @ los coyotes. I was so nervous & maria @ the front desk was extremely nice to me. The process was quick & organized. I felt so comfortable here. Tina Tran was my x ray specialist & her table side manner was perfection. I absolutely recommend this location to anyone. read more
