There were lots of options on the menu from burgers, pasta, stews and steak to healthier and lighter choices like salads with avocado and salmon, fish cakes, hummus board, sandwiches and a selection of tapas. The salmon was very nice, and I quite like the hummus board which is big and great for sharing between a few people as a starter. The service was excellent. The staff were all very polite and attentive, checking on up us to see if things were alright. The food was served efficiently and my parents from Ireland who were with me commented on how friendly everyone was. The only downside is the although the drinks and gin menu is very extensive, they are quite expensive. I was surprised by how good the food was, and the service was excellent. The restaurant isn't the cheapest around, but is well-decorated and very spacious. There is plenty of room at each table, and enough space between tables that you're not listening to another table's conversation. There is a good selection of food from staples such as steaks and salmon to more adventurous fare like Moroccan lamb. When we visited, I was disappointed that my starter had arrived before I was told that my main was not available, but the staff were both apologetic and accommodating. For some reason, all of our main courses, no matter what they were, came decorated with halved grapes around the edges of the plates, which seemed quite needless and a little pretentious, but everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food from the starter to the dessert.

The $5.50 meal deal order includes cod fish, chips, mushy peas, and coffee or tea. A side order of homemade tartar sauce is about 50 p. The cod fish was fresh, crispy but not oily, and big portion.
