The building itself is impressive, but you can't see it from inside. The outside seating area is *very* limited indeed, just a few tables. Food and drinks, the usual: Fairly impressive selection of rotating guest ales on tap (usually 8-10), plus a broad range of alcoholic drinks of every conceivable kind. All at rock bottom prices. Food is similarly cheap, and there are "club" days where a specific kind of food (say, steaks, Indian food, Mexican, Fish Friday) is offered at an even lower price. Just don't expect restaurant quality - it's all convenience food. No place to linger, definitely.

There is always a few real ales on as well as the range of very reasonably priced beers and spirits. The food is the JDW staples and none the worse for it. The name of the pub has something to do with a story about..well, Peter and the lion. I can't recall what, but there are quite nice pieces that realte to the title. Overall this place is somewhere I could happilly spend a night in, though to be fair and honest I have only ever been early evening.

The indoor dining room is cozy, while there is an option to sit outdoor as well. Their restroom has paper towels to dry your hands, which is typically not found in many restrooms here in the UK except for fancy luxurious establishments so that was a very pleasant surprise.
