The building itself is impressive, but you can't see it from inside. The outside seating area is *very* limited indeed, just a few tables. Food and drinks, the usual: Fairly impressive selection of rotating guest ales on tap (usually 8-10), plus a broad range of alcoholic drinks of every conceivable kind. All at rock bottom prices. Food is similarly cheap, and there are "club" days where a specific kind of food (say, steaks, Indian food, Mexican, Fish Friday) is offered at an even lower price. The name of the pub has something to do with a story about..well, Peter and the lion. I can't recall what, but there are quite nice pieces that realte to the title. Overall this place is somewhere I could happilly spend a night in, though to be fair and honest I have only ever been early evening.
