Now, before you start to snigger at the name, thinking it sounds like the name of a massage parlour, just have a read of what's on offer.
This is a chinese restaurant that also offers a takeaway service, there is good menu on offer, but the best value is the all you can eat buffet.
At the time of writing the review the buffet was priced at £8.90 Mon-Thurs & £9.90 Fri-Sun.
It is a help yourself style buffet and available there is.
Soup.
Spring rolls, seaweed, ribs, prawn toasts, chicken wings, samosas, chicken satay skewers, prawn crackers.
Duck, pancakes, cucumber, spring onion and sauces.
Fried rice, boiled rice, soft noodles, chips.
Beef in black bean, thai green chicken, sweet and sour chicken, vegetables in oyster sauce.
Fresh fruit, ice cream and my very very favourite..banana fritters with golden syrup. drool
All of this, except the fruit & ice cream, is kept piping hot in dishes on bain marie style trolleys. There is not a huge amount of food in each dish, but the staff do keep re filling the dishes so you are safe in the knowledge that the food hasn't been sat there all evening.
The waiters keep removing your plates and you just go back and get a clean one for your next visit.
The staff are very nice, friendly and helpful, on my last visit, there were 12 of us and we did book a table, we mentioned that it was for a birthday.
After the main course, they played Happy Birthday and brought out a small iced sponge cake. This was totally unexpected and a lovely surprise.
As we were getting ready to leave, a waiter appeared with a fancy gift bag with a pashmina style shawl in it as a gift for the birthday girl. There was no charge for either the gift or the cake, although our bar bill was as much as our food bill.
Similar to most restaurants, the drinks are not cheap, although they are not too over priced, I think we just drink rather a lot.
Do give it a try, the food is not top class, but it is good and fantastic value for money.
(I'm sure that there is more to eat than I have listed, I'll update this review next time I go) read more
