What I was really impressed with was the value of these dishes. We had 2 haddock, one large chips, large mushy peas and a buttered barm for £11 - not bad at all! As you might expect with such a title, Jackson's offers very good fish and chips that is delicious and filling. Their fish is delightfully crispy and golden, whilst their chips are perfectly fluffy and just the right texture between dry and soggy. Their prices are fairly competitive for the area, meaning you can get fish, chips, mushy peas, bread and butter and a hot drink for less than four pounds, which is great value for money when you consider the quality of the food you're eating. If you're in the area definitely give them a try, whether you fancy a takeaway or a sit down meal.
