Crooked to the core. After a bad accident, on Highway 87. I was charged $185 for the tow. My wrecked vehicle was towed less than 10 miles. They told my wife they didn't take credit cards, but took it after she told them it was all she had. I was bruised and sore for a few days. So I had to leave it over a holiday weekend. Storage fee was $25 a day. Which was another$100, CASH ONLY. I asked if they or someone they knew would purchase the totaled vehicle. They told me they KEEP the vehicle. I had the car towed to a local auto auction house for $75. The car ended up being sold for $300 at auction. I realize it was not their fault for the storage fee. My wife and I are upset about being price gouged and the woman in charge was very nasty and unsympathetic. It added unnecessary stress to an already bad incident. This business has a contract with the county. This business tows wrecked cars along I-75. It is hard to believe they do not accept credit cards. When obviously they took mine. Makes one wonder where all that CASH is going. I wonder if they realize skimming money is illegal. Maybe the IRS needs to take a look at their books. We were stranded in our car on the I75 from 2AM until 8AM...a terrifying experience, waiting in a broke down vehicle all night with semi-trucks flying past us at 100miles an hour at what seemed like 2in away from our vehicle. All of the towing companies we found online which claimed to offer 24/7 service were not answering phones, we called 911, 511 and could not get help to get off the highway. Finally I found Watts Service, and they answered on the first try. Leane was the lady that picked us up from the highway and drove us to a Uhaul partner in Macon where we had a reservation to rent a truck with tow hitch for our car, only to find out they had nothing waiting for us. Leane was very helpful and made some calls and secured a truck for us with tow hitch over at the Budget rental dealer, and she drove us there (a few miles more) at no extra charge. We are so grateful for her assistance in getting us off the highway to safety, for her resourcefulness and compassion. THANK YOU Leane! read more

1-5-17 our car broke down at mile marker 182 north on rt 75 on our back home to Ohio.Gas gage was not reading right and ended up running out of gas.Watts came and did the tow to there place.Tow was $195 for maybe 4 miles.They told me after they put it on the computer I need a new fuel pump.Charged me another $80 for the computer check.The owner quotes me a repair bill for $340 labor,$300-$400 for a fuel pump.I questioned Leanne Watts on the price of the pump.This is when shit hit the fan.Owner told her workers to push my car out and they basically left on the street.This was on a Friday and there were about to close and not open till Monday.So myself,wife and 6 year old grandson had to walk like 1/4 mile to a motel with all our luggage.i spent $200 to stay at this motel.Saturday I took it upon myself to fine other means to fixed oure car so the 3 of us could get back home to ohio safely.I called "UNDERWOODS TOWING " Chris came and towed our car to Macon,GA /Firestone on riverside dr.Underwoods charged me a whooping $40 dollars to tow our car 30 plus miles.I tap on the gas tank and it sounded empty to me the next day on Saturday.Chris(tow guy) suggested we put some fuel in it.Car fired right up but ran like crap.So I still had Underwood towing take it to firestone for the tuneup.I drove the car onto the flatbed to be towed.WATTS was going to charge me $700 to $800 dollars for a fuel pump I DID NOT need.After watts tow truck driver told me the fuel pump only had 15psi.firestone told me the pump was just fine and had 50psi.So they never even put our car on a computer to check the psi's of the fuel pump. Will screw you over for all you have and not think twice and dont care if you have nothing they will keep your car!! overcharged and racist! overnight charges for a few hours. 200+ dollars and their website says 24/7 that is a direct lie and they know it and they arent even opent he hours they say they are they close at 6 pm and open at 8 not 7 cause I called and they still havent made it to the so called towing company they run. They are giving cuts of the profits to the local police department. And the saturday convienent tow and storage is to screw you over so you have to pay storage and they will leave early if they are even open saturdays cause i saw that only the police department can get in touch with them, not the customers that actually have vechicles in their possesion. I will definitely make sure everyone knows how they treat people and called my husband a black guy instead of his first name. I was furious. Glad I made it there before they closed at 6 pm not 7. NEVER BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!! I dropped off my car, 7/28/2015, at 3:00 PM at Watts service center to get an oil change. They said they could not do it the same day because of availability but i got a call two hours later at 5:18 PM saying it was done. I went to pick up my car and my wife went to pay the bill because I was on the phone, and when she came back she told me the bill was now $138.43. This moment, I hung up the phone and went inside to talk to the owner. She never mentioned labor when we talked as I dropped the car off and never called to tell me my bill was going to be changing so significantly. She said she had worked on the car for over a hour and there would now be an extra charge of $85.00 for service. This is the running rate for 1 hour of labor. When i went out to talk to my wife about what the extra charge was the owners employee ran out jumped in my car that was earlier serviced and drove it off the lot as i was asking him to get out and was standing in front of the car. At this point i called the cops because i felt i was getting taken and my car was now out of my sight. The cop was helpful but because this was a civil event he did not have any jurisdiction and could only mediate. The owner was unwilling to move to a agreement and was holding my car hostage during the whole event until she got her unjust payment. She was unwilling to present the damaged part she claimed to be the reason for the extra charge even after i asked for it several times. After talking with the cop i chose to pay the bill and pursue a small claims court appeal. As I went to pay she said she would only accept cash or debit but changed her story as soon as the cop walked in as I was pressing the issue. I went to pay with my discover card which i used their on 01/08/2015 for $336.53 when the owner told me she did not accept discover. I sent my wife home to get our Mastercard and we paid the bill. I later looked on their website and as of 07/28/2015 it still shows they accept discover card. This can be verified by http://www.wattsservicecenterandtowing.com/index.htm Discover card has a better appeal process so it seems she knew this and lied to make it even more difficult for me to pursue justice. If you get your oil changed here, what seems like a simple task will end up costing you more than you bargained for. read more
