When he did call to schedule an appointment to install our items he gave us a time frame of "late morning or early afternoon." It was after 4 p.m. and he hadn't shown up or called to say he was running late, so we called him and he asked to reschedule for the next day. I told him I didn't trust him to actually show up, not to mention that it took 2 weeks to hear back from him initially, and his reply was, "I don't want to hear it so go and hire someone else if you want". We hung up, and then he called me back and apologized, and asked if he could come by the next day and install our items. I said yes, just to get it done, and not have to go through the process all over again with someone new. One last thing - is it normal for a plumber to set your water heater to 137 degrees? I don't think so.

They respond almost immediately, even via email, & never make you feel like a burden. When we ordered our new range, they were very accommodating in working with our delivery company's schedule to make sure our gas line to the old range was safely capped off before the new electric range was delivered. We learned of this when the Town Sanitary Officer came to our door to report that our discharge was going into the sewer. After having a meltdown, we contacted O'Neill. Pat O'Neill and crew came out, gave us a solid estimate, and started the work. Pat O'Neill (owner) is ON SITE or CHECKING THE JOB on a continual basis - how many plumbing companies can say that? Further, the Town smiled when they heard we had hired Pat to fix the issue, as the sanitary worker said "He does good work, I know you will have this fixed right". THAT is what you want to hear when you have an issue!!! Pat and crew worked with the other contractor (electrician) by taking the lead and structuring the job so that everything was coordinated. He made countless calls and organized everything - no stress for the homeowner. He then repaired our irrigation system as well....This company really works hard and has a variety of talents. Called for service on my leaking well cap. I explained the issue over the phone and they said,…read more"Yes, we can fix that." So I setup an appointment. When the guy gets to my house I show him the leaking well cap and my questions were, "Is it supposed to do that? How does it need to be fixed?" His exact answer was, "I don't know". I explained the issue over the phone for this exact reason!!! Since I was already paying the service fee for him to come out to my house, and he wasn't able to fix my real issue, I thought I might as well have him replace my sink drain. He replaced my sink drain and as he was leaving he specifically said, "I'll figure out what needs to be done about the well cap issue, so we'll get back to you." I never heard from him or the plumbing company again except for a bill in the mail for the sink drain and service fee which totalled over $100.00 for a single sink drain!!! I called them with a specific issue that they said they could resolve. They didn't even question it. Automatically said, "Yep, we can fix that". Not only was it misleading when they told me they could fix my well cap issue, they completely lied when they said they would figure out what needs to be done and get back to me. I was expecting them to hold true to their word, like a normal good standing business would do. That never happened until I finally gave up and called a real plumbing company that was actually able to help me. Let me repeat that...I never heard back from them again except for a bill in the mail. They lied about being able to fix my issue only to get the service appointment. Then lied again when they said they would figure out what needs to be done and get back to me. Koch is the worst plumbing company I have ever dealt with!!!

He put in a new delta faucet bottom of the line quality that dripped from the time of install. He charged us the time it took to install and remove the defective faucet? Our fault his product was not good? He ended up having to install ( we paid for ourselves) a new kitchen faucet one that we got from Moen as a warranty replacement. We were fine and willing to forgive his bad performance until he sent us a bill for $475 (that was not itemized) for labor and parts. Mike is a nice guy, but he is a crooked conman. Do yourself a favor and get an honest plumber that doesn't falsely create problems and charges you for his mistakes. We won't be calling him again.
