The crew was fantastic--professional, friendly, and respectful of my property. They communicated with me every step of the way, answering all my questions quickly and thoroughly, sending me photos of the work to assuage any concerns. It was clear that they take great pride in their work, and they left my yard in perfect condition, cleaning up meticulously after the job was done. One wrench in the project was that I had an invisible fence line that ran through multiple areas of excavation, and I knew there was no chance that line wasn't going to be cut. What really blew me away, was that Cristian went out and repaired the damage and the line works perfectly again; talk about above and beyond! A week later, the drainage system works perfectly, and my yard is shockingly dry considering the recent heavy rain. Today, Monday September 16th at around 3:02 PM, I was walking to my car on the west side of the…read moreparking lot facing the playground with my two year old son. We had just recently attended the 2-3pm MIPP session. Since you don't know my son, I have to start with the fact that he is a runner, he is super quick and isn't communicating yet, hence the reason we attend MIPP. I knew KLM Landscaping was there because they had just arrived when we did the hour before. Their trucks were parked not to far from where we were. I heard the lawnmower coming near us, but I didn't see it because there was a larger vehicle parked next to my Ford Edge. As I rounded my car, the employee came flying through the parking lot doing at least 15 MPH. He nearly ran over my son and I. As I said, my son is a runner, I was lucky I grabbed him fast enough or he could have been killed, I'm not being dramatic when I say that. I was so upset that I called KLM at 3:05PM to complain about the employee and the supervisor (I didn't get her name) gave me a half hearted apologize and said "Oh, I know who you're talking about, we get complaints about him all the time, we'll speak to him when he gets back." Why, on earth would she be bragging about that? This is a school, an elementary school, no less. Middle school and High school kids would be well aware to watch their surroundings but not a 2 year old. I am 33 years old and didn't even see him coming, only heard him because of an obstructed view. If this employee is known for speeding through parking lots and has multiple complaints, he should NOT be on a crew that works around children.
