I'm transported into a vortex of restaurant going people stuffing crustations down their grills snug in their catacomb tables, lending me to the unproven knowledge to this toil - or so it seems, that when we all eat, we might be missing a lot of what's happened to bring this meal to you. We foodies seem to always get our way - in the federal penitentiary, you never get your way, you NEVER get your (Fing) way - so please, understand that eighty five percent of the world would kill for our problems. . The frenzy and attention to the meal without the background, I think about and behaviors aren't quite unlike the gulls in the big box store lots atop the light posts, what the people do here with their face gullets plunging down and their feeding frenzies of cheap one liners. The gulls are missing their experiences because they're no longer down by the dock, they're inland - they're in St. Louis. I know first hand because I driven (not flown over or into) The Gateway to the West, I'm seeing these large birds all the time - they're are all around - I'm on their turf and we both know it. Fortunately, I've not had to throw hands with a hungry goose over an lost and unlucky little bagel. My guys whose names I mentioned in the photos and will add in, they throw down daily freshness from Casco Bay to you - buy you hesitate when buying retail seafood, you out of towners - and by "you" I am referring to Me. Let your conscience be your guide, real all of Mr. Alarming's reviews - pour it into a bottle and add some Bombay Sapphire - chug it down and partake if you are into that because you can up in here and its everywhere and it'll work up your hunger and you'll laugh a bit more than usual and if that's wrong --------- I don't wanna be right.

The clam chowder was buttery and full of meat and potatoes, but could have used a bit of corn starch to thicken it up. The bacon wrapped scallops were good but could have used a maple glaze or thicker bacon to enhance the flavor of the bacon. The mozzarella sticks were gooey and full of cheese but needed a bit more seasoning in the breading. Overall, the food was tasty and not overpriced. This is a great place for a family lunch outing on a nice day. Service: The cashier was nice and helpful. Ambience: The restaurant has a small gift shop inside that has a bunch of cute gift options. There are multiple small picnic bench areas under an awnings and with a view of the water. This is a great spot and I look forward to trying out more of their menu.

I bought an 8 oz. container of fresh crab meat and went home to make my own. I put just enough Hellmans in to bind it together, but gently, so as not to destroy the chunks. I grilled up a side split hot dog roll with butter and stuffed it. - sounds dirty. It didn't taste like any crab roll I had ever had before. The meat was sweet like lobster. The 8 oz. container I purchased for $7.00 in June '08 was enough to make 3 really sizeable rolls. Moody's sells out of their truck on Saturdays in the Vigues Furniture lot in Brunswick. It is right next to Fat Boy's. He stays there until he sells out, and last weekend that was 11:30 am. It was truly amazing and I'm not sure I'll ever buy a crab roll from a restaurant again.

It was also good, but you had to eat it quickly because it got cold fast. We ordered broccoli as our vegetable side, but the chef gave us stir fried squash and zucchini. Dawn was embarrassed and went back for the broccoli. However I ate all of the mixed vegetables because they were actually quite good. I was assured the reservation was noted and my lobsters would be held. When I arrived, I was told they had sold out and my reserved lobsters were not available. The young man behind the counter was surprisingly flippant and showed little concern for the inconvenience caused. Because my reservation was not honored, I had to drive an additional hour and spend about $40 more to purchase comparable lobsters from another vendor. Mistakes happen, especially on busy holidays, but I expected an apology and some effort to make things right. Unfortunately, neither was offered.
