They are very unprofessional, no showed two days in a row... well actually the second day (husband taking off work based on their word) they came close to their scheduled time but with NO equipment at 1:30 and said they didn't think they would have enough time to pull the old pump before dark??? Wanted to know if they could go get the equipment from the shop and leave it in our yard until Monday?? Then left and we never heard from them again. Called the office AGAIN, to cancel this time. Each time dealing with the "secretary" she seemed very unorganized, confused, could not remember what she told who. One time, after speaking to my husband a few times, called his number to "make sure she had his number"??? After 2 no shows, we called to speak to a "manager" and she just kept saying he wasn't there. Can he just return our call??? Still have not heard back from them. Very unprofessional, disorganized and I surely don't want them operating any equipment near our home after all of this. Will only go with referrals from now on ....

Btw.... warranty company for my newly built house had already sent a tech to my home 4 times this year for the malfunctioning sump pump & I was tired of dealing with them on this issue & we were expecting a tornado in our area. Brian took the time to listen to my concerns and informed me of what his company can do to resolve my issue. He stated that his company would install a Zoeller cast iron submersible primary sump pump... plugged into the wall & a install a Aqua Marine battery operated secondary pump....Tie both systems into an alarm system. Installed a new check valve on discharge line marine battery...all for a significant lower price than Michael & Son. This installation included a 3 year warranty. He informed me that he could come to my home the very next morning. Sure enough, he arrived as promised-reiterated what was going to be done & completed the job. I received my receipt for the work that was completed and the warranty information all via email which is great! I'm very pleased and I'm looking forward to not having to worry about a flooded basement during a power outage. I'm so happy and they saved me a ton of money!

I contacted this plumbing company to identify the cause of a leak and was told upfront that there…read morewould be a $59 service fee, and that I'd be given the total cost before any work was done. The technician arrived and determined the issue was a faulty bathtub drain spout. I offered to go to Lowe's to get the replacement myself, but he mentioned he had one on the truck and said it "wouldn't be much." To my surprise, the final bill showed the part marked up more than 400% over retail. I completely understand that plumbers charge for convenience, expertise, and overhead--but the extreme markup felt misleading, especially given his comment that the part wouldn't cost much. When I called the office to ask about their pricing, I was transferred to someone who oddly compared plumber fees to what a doctor would charge and seemed irritated, as though I was devaluing their work. It was an uncomfortable conversation. Thankfully, another representative eventually got on the line and offered a $60 discount, which was processed quickly. In the end, the issue was resolved, but the pricing transparency and customer service experience left a lot to be desired. I recommend asking for a full estimate--including part pricing--before agreeing to any work.
