My wife and I went in today for another great breakfast. I can't say enough about this place…read morebecause I have been hunting for an excellent breakfast place with gluten free pancakes. I tried the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs today which includes pancakes. I got regular pancakes and my wife had the gluten free. I can't find a good biscuit and gravy place but theirs is really good! Eggs were cooked correct at over medium. Pancakes were great last time but even better today. I asked for warm syrup which only magnified the great taste of their pancakes. I don't have any personal interest in this place other than I want an excellent place to take my wife. I spent 14 years in the restaurant business when I was younger and I want the type of service and quality of food that I deserve and pay for. If you are looking for a great place for breakfast, this is it!!! Also....ask for Trixi. She is great. You absolutely feel welcome at this location.

Someone from the kitchen yelled Y'all can sit anywhere you'd like. We sat 1 waitress on the floor. After a few minutes no menu's, no acknowledgment from waitress . She came a few minutes later with menu's asking what we wanted to drink. We said coffee and water. We read the menu discussing our options. We were going with omelett's. The waitress comes to our table and asked what did you want to drink again ? We said 1 coffee, 1 water she said Ok. Then she went over to another table to take their order. It was a large table I knew it was going to take longer to get coffee and water plus now the big table's order of drinks. I left I won't be back. Unprofessional would be an understatement . I can't tell you about the food or the coffee as nothing was ever brought to the table. It was a blessing as we found another cafe The Big Texas Café!! OMG they are AWESOME in every aspect

My dad loved his avocado toast and said it had a great flavor. The biscuit and gravy had a great amount of sausage and just the right amount of spice. And my daughter's pancakes were picture perfect with a bit of strawberries, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce she was one very happy girl. Donut Palace is a small, unassuming donut shop somewhat off the beaten path in Greenville. Luckily…read morefor me, it's about a 3 minute drive from my house and is well worth coming back to. I've stopped by twice so far, and service has been quick and pleasant. They have all of your standard donuts, as well as kolaches and breakfast sandwiches. For me, the apple fritter is their standout. At only $2, it's large, crispy, cooked through, and pleasantly sweet. The cinnamon roll is subtly sweet and had the slightest crunch on its crust, quite tasty. The Bavarian cream also has a subtle crisp crust and is filled with a nicely-textured, not too thick sweet cream. Other than those, their old fashioned donuts are their best donuts to me. They have a good crunch on their exteriors and are soft and moist inside. I'd classify their standard cake and glazed donuts as good, solid donuts. Prices are reasonable. On my last visit, I bought a half dozen, an apple fritter, and a sausage kolache for $14 and change. When I go in the future, I'll focus on the standouts. If you're in the area, stop and give them a try!
