Fried Green Tomato and Mozzarella
Khushboo S.

Delicious food! We visited waterstone while on a road trip to Virginia. It was perfect - great food, atmosphere and service. We started off with fried green tomatoes and requested for the jam on the side. It was fried to perfection, held its beading until we digged in, which is rare in fried green tomatoes. Mozzarella cheese was fresh and tasty too. We then got Greek pizza on a pesto base and LOVED it! Just the right amount of toppings and crust was so thin and crispy. 10/10 for Pizza. For our toddler we got nuggets and fries, and the portion that they gave was huge! I could tell they fried it fresh and breading had seasoning which made it tasty for a child meal. Fries were really good too. Child meal also came with a beverage (we chose apple juice) and ice-cream (this made our toddler sooo happy)!! I'm writing this review as I'm literally eating the leftover child meal - which is a testimony in itself how good it was. If we visit the area again, I will definitely come back.

Tasteless..awful

Long wait for pizza even though we were the 1st to be seated.. pizza crust awful like frozen pizza.. long wait and the waitress was unapologetic and snotty .. even admitted to having to remake our pizza.. the pizza maker can be seen on his phone texting often and using no gloves.. this pizza was awful and could not eat it..sad because this place used to be good..

Margherita Pizza

As to every love story, this one ended like Romeo and Juliet, a tragedy. I will start with this, the pizza tasted pretty good, the place was clean, and our waitress was nice. But dear god, we have some stuff to talk about. First and foremost, we ordered 3 pizzas and got some water. ONE HOUR LATER our pizzas showed up and it wasn't even that busy. One of the pizzas had a crust that half of it looked like it had gone through the 7th circle of hell, so my fellow diner, disappointed and tired of waiting, opted to wait to dine elsewhere. The pizza shown looked a little thrown together and the "toppings" portion was about the size of my hand...for $18. Like damn. They took the burnt pizza off of the bill, but herein lies the bad. Usually a manager will come on over and try to remedy the issue, but nope, it wasn't even talked over again nor was the excessive wait. Last but not least, the bill for 2 pizzas (NO drinks included) was $42.48. Do yourself a favor and buy a Red Baron while jamming out to Red Baron by Sabaton and have yourself a $2 at home beer instead.

Food was ready quickly, nicely presented in box, very tasty and although pricey dont feel like it was overpriced. Fried green tomato and side salad with sweet tea.

Spagetti with meatball sauce

The restaurant was a nice atmosphere but understaffed. The spagetti with meatball sauce was very good. Salads were also good. My husband's soda drink came out in a dirty glass that wasn't immediately seen until he drank from it. The staff that was there was nice but the bartender was also the server for most the tables.

Fried Ravioli

This was our 2nd visit to this restaurant because we had a pleasant first experience. We came in through the hotel and we're seated quickly. Aubrey, our waitress, was very pleasant and provided excellent service. We ordered the toasted ravioli appetizer which was really good, and shared a Margherita pizza. The pizza was extremely thin, had way too much sauce, and not enough cheese for $18. Unfortunately, I got very sick from the sauce and had stomach pains all night.

I really enjoyed the pizza, but they only have craft beer. I'm a beer snob and only drink miller lite. My only criticism.

Decent food. Prices are a little high for what you get. Service is quick. Having its own parking lot is a plus.

From the creaky wood floors to a worn Chesterfield sofa, this place has character and history. The owner and his wife were incredibly kind, accommodating, and down to earth people. My breve was tasty and they had options to serve my dietary restrictions. There's a general store in the back with toiletries in stock and other necessities for those who may be visiting from out of town. The food was simple and delicious with house-made soups, sides and dressings. I thoroughly enjoyed the tomato soup and though I'm typically not a pasta salad fan, thought theirs was great (made with a ranch based dressing rather than Italian dressing style). Located in a retro shopping center, so it's a little hard to find at first. Nothing fancy, but comfortable and easy to get in and out. Highly recommend!

This was a huge project for a local business. The food was simple burgers , chicken sandwich BBQ hot dogs chips fries and can soda. A speciality day on one of the Saturday's that was to be a hearty meatloaf mashed potatoes and green beans. The workers for the truck were not available most evening or night shift hours and 5 of the 11 days they just did not bother to show up for any shift. So poorly executed for the men and women of the project that just wanted a hot meal. Do not book this food truck..... if you do get it in writing the exact times of availability and prices from the menu and all selections. Really poor service. Do not recommend.

One person in our party said her salad had the best dressing she's ever had. The fried pickles were good. The shrimp was good. One bartender was good. Cons - We walked in and basically weren't sure what to do. There was a woman at we thought was a hostess stand, but she never said anything to us. We finally asked if we needed to check in with her to get seated. We did. But it was kind of weird. One bartender was awful. Never made eye contact. Wouldn't take any orders. Acted like she wanted to be anywhere else. I thought the Caesar salad was ok. It came with lacquered salmon. I would have loved the salmon, but not lacquered. It couldn't be made to order. Ok fine. I ordered it the way it was described. There was nothing lacquered about that salmon. It also was shredded on top of the salad and was maybe two ounces. That's ridiculous. Our server wasn't very helpful and not very attentive. I'm sure many people have had great experiences there, but I'm not sure I would take the time to go back.
