This place is a joke. Roaches everywhere, bad water quality, crazy neighbors and the worst…read moremanagement. This Korean lady at the front desk (I believe her name is Michelle) thinks she's the owner of this place or something. She has no regards as to what's going in the apartment complex and just gives attitude left and right as if we can't go anywhere else lol. She needs to calm the f down cuz these are not luxury apartments and she should do something else to make herself feel worth something. I can't imagine how disgusting she would be to all these non-English speaking Korean seniors. My next door unit was infested with roaches and my neighbor had to terminate his lease early. He went through hell to do so. The management forced him to live with the roaches for 2 months. Disgusting. Also, a lot of people lost their cars due to the frequent flood in the complex. The management doesn't even mention a word about the flood on purpose. They are deceiving and disgusting. If you are planning to save a couple of hundred bucks by living here, don't. It's not worth it. I would rather pay more for better quality of living. DISGUSTING.

It's almost laughable that they require that. There's zero amenities. When I moved in, they didn't do an official walkthrough and admitted it to us so for a month, with a child, I lived without the heat working, the bath tub stopper wouldn't work, lights wouldn't work in some areas, the sink wouldn't work. Due to unlivable conditions, I threatened to sue and asked for the first month for free. Why? Because again, not only the conditions but without a formal walkthrough, it's illegal to rent out the apartment. They ignored all my messages about it it so I simply didn't pay for that first month and they will probably take it from my security when I leave here, and consistently charging me a late fee still & I've been here now for almost a year. I'm definitely calling a lawyer after I leave. Additionally, out of nowhere, in 30 degree cold weather, on my daughter's birthday, our bedroom heater just stopped working. They asked a few questions and then simply said they will TRY to fix it tomorrow. Like where are we supposed to sleep with a baby? Just out in the living room? On top of that, all of their stoves, fridges etc are extremely outdated. The stove wasn't working when I moved in either and they "fixed" it. It's been horrible to cook on that old thing. Pans all slide off because the electric burners are all crooked. The oven is so outdated, you can't use it. You can only use broil. I had to buy all new cooking equipment including a gas portable burner simply to just not use it. WHY ARE THEY REQUIRING THIS CREDIT SCORE FOR A PIECE OF DUMP? The landscaping is horrible too. One of the trees was so rotten & not properly maintained that during a storm, it just fell on my neighbor's car & broke the whole thing. They then turned it into mulch and for 8 months just left a pile of mulch in my neighbor's front yard. There's so many bugs -- mosquitos, ANTS -- I had a huge infestation over the summer and they do not spray their apartments or provide rodent services, there's geese poo all over in the summer, skunks everywhere & also hiding under the apartments. They do not care. These people take advantage of elderly Asian immigrants who barely speak English. Their rent check system is very outdated and the mailbox where you put the checks were robbed. They asked all tenants to get official police reports or they would STILL CHARGE YOU when it's an error in their end with leaving a mailbox filled with rent checks out in the public, with zero security and no online services. They then sent a mail to all tenants after that if it happens again, it will be our responsibility. Like please tell how you scum's! Hate this place so much

Despite numerous complaints to management and calls to Ridgefield, New Jersey health department the problem has not been properly addressed causing me a great deal of stress and frustration. The MOLD is on the floors under my bed and the bed of my daughter. I've recently requested to be transferred to another apartment because after management assumed the problem was fixed, I seen mold mites crawling all through my closet. I was told I can move but the rent will be $400 more a month. My only options is to leave with no fee or transfer to the same floor plan for more. It's not easy to just get up and move as a single parent. As I read in these reviews last year, I am not the only person with this issue. I was told by the regional project manager that due to the river which is a few blocks away, when it rain the river overflows and the water go into the basement of the houses causing the mold to raise from the floor. I was told there is nothing that can be done except them trying to block the moist from entering the apartment. The project manager sent me an email that maintenance was scheduled to come to handle the situation. No one came and I haven't received any update messages. I decided to hold June's rent until these issues are properly addressed and yesterday I received a notice that eviction will began the 14th if no payment is received. I am extremely disappointed that my living conditions has deteriorated to this extent, and I URGE others to be cautious when considering renting an apartment in this complex.

If I could put a zero I would. These were the nicest apartments growing up! Now they are rundown…read moreand management is horrible! They think because they fix up the outside that it makes them look modern. Believe me they are not! Rundown and can't get any maintenance to save your life! Mold in the bathroom, leaking ceilings and "friends" in the kitchen! Never in 60 years has it been this bad! Ought to be ashamed!

In addition to the great service, they have nice activities for the kids during the holidays, free breakfast by the pool weekends in the summer, and no amenity fee. The Windsor at Mariners was a nice break from my old apartment. Im still looking for an apartment where it's more private but I think any apartment it will be the same. on the Penthouse those are very nice and super quiet/ private. I'm not moving out for any reason other than changing up location. My one bedroom apartment comes with plenty of closet space, washer/ dryer, and a decent bathroom. I love having a patio. You would want the apartment that has the balcony on the right side. You would get the better view. That's how mine is but still no privacy. I can hear my neighbors above me, the elevator to my right + the neighbor, and my neighbor to left of me. I also worked odd hours and caught all moments of life happening through the days. Neighbor dog does bark a lot tho. And not that they are being loud at all. It's just that the wall is thin and you can hear clear. So still a quiet, family friendly apartment building that is luxurious. Never complained though and not complaining now. Just my experience in the apartment. They do allow dogs and only small ones so I knew. Of course dogs will bark. Sometimes more than others. And if your apartment is right next to the elevator of course you'll hear it. It is a smoother sound than most. I'm 28 and younger than most. Location is great for a ferry ride in, Newark Airport, and a short drive to Rockland Bakery. Hoboken is close but river road and the lights are frustrating making it an annoying 30 min ride. Being by the water, city, highways... is why the price is what it is. It's just gorgeous and so fresh. Being able to take a walk by the water to get ice cream is the sweetest thing. But it's also because they are superior in service. Absolutely crush it and make you feel so welcomed. All within 15 min away you have Homegoods, Trader Joe's, Seak, Sushi Cruise, GW Bridge, Target, TJ Max, 5 below, Dunkin Donuts, European Wax Center, the spa and pancakes. Garden state mall is like 20 something minutes away too! There is a dry cleaners in the building. When you have a package the front desk will have it out waiting for you if they catch you walking in. That's very nice. The people who live here are super kind and friendly. And range in all different ages. You can walk to go get bagels that's nice too. :D

Solidarity with the Korean culture and community can absolutely be done without using discriminatory practices towards other cultures and communities. The realtor I am working with's identity and her realty are blocked out from these several screenshots attached to protect her privacy. She works for a separate realty that is NOT Young Star Realty. She is assisting me when she can with my rental search. My understanding is that she will be reporting this to the New Jersey Multiple Listing Service (MLS) since the listing is officially Leased as of yesterday November 10. Young Star Realty LIED saying the listing was Leased BEFORE Tuesday November 10. More details and screenshots for receipts. I have time. During the afternoon of Saturday November 7, we viewed one of Young Star Realty's listed condos on 721 Broad Ave, Ridgefield, NJ. Edward Kim or Jong Bok Choi confirmed the appointment and left the keys in a secured spot so that the realtor would be able to show me the place. I liked what I saw. I paid and applied for renting the condo on same day via Zumper. My realtor sent an email later to Young Star Realty later on Saturday with my documents. Time difference between us viewing the condo vs. her email and Young Star Realty's response was about 8 hours. Jong Bok Choi within minutes blatantly LIED on email to my realtor saying that someone already signed the lease for 721 Broad Ave. If that was the true case, the application would have been processed and accepted already days before Saturday. Why would they allow my realtor to have me view the condo and why was the status of the listing still showing as Active instead of Pending or Leased? Why would they in good professional conscience show this property to anyone after someone signed the lease? It was not until yesterday Tuesday November 10 that this property was officially leased.
