We lived here for almost 4 years and the staff were nothing but accommodating, helpful, and kind. I never had an experience where management were more like family. Sue Sue, Teresa, AJ, and Steven did so much for our family. They ALWAYS go above and beyond. Had we not bought a house, we would still be living there. I literally sobbed when we left. We will never forget our experience at the Alexander! In addition to the great service, they have nice activities for the kids during the holidays, free breakfast by the pool weekends in the summer, and no amenity fee. My mother lived in this magnificently gorgeous building for 3 yrs . Best luxury building for your money !!! Before we moved here we have seen every nice apt complexe between Edgewater and Hoboken all I can say majority tiny shoeboxes plus they charge extra for garage, water and amenities !!!! In this building everything included but cable and electric. Apartments are very large roomy , tall ceilings and very beautifully finishes !!! Large windows perfect for Manhattan and river views . Bathrooms are very large and gorgeous.. 5 star service !!! Everyone always sweet and polite . We all became like a family... this building almost like a 5 star resort : gym , yoga rooms , billiard room with kitchen you can have a nice party , movie theater , indoor and outdoor pools , saunas , jacuzzis , and so much more ... No pets allowed this was important for us !!! No smelly hallways and barking. Covered parking. Every Sunday beautiful free breakfast served by the pool .. Bus to Manhattan right by ur door it takes only 20 minutes and you are in midtown . Supermarket cross the street. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods walking distance . Beautiful city view river walk pathway for a nice walk or bicycle ride . Movie theater and so many other stores short walking distance . I can't thank enough Alexander for making us very happy . I don't usually do reviews but I felt the need to this time. I have never lived In a building before I have always lived in a private home all my life. 4 months ago I put my home up for sale I looked at over 10 buildings before I seen this building I am so glad that I made the right choice I feel so at home here the apartments are so beautiful the amenities go on and on and on. The building is so immaculate clean. One of the owners by the name of Sue sue She is so sweet so kind so considerate and so giving. She is hands on and overseas the building on a daily basis to make sure everything is working accordingly. For example my air conditioner was not working properly instead of fixing it within 20 minutes they took my entire unit out and brought me a brand new air conditioner. The staff here is also amazing from the front desk to maintenance to the building manager Teresa. Theresa really cares about the tenants here and she takes very good care of the building. The security in this building is amazing there are cameras everywhere you cannot get in the parking lot without a Special Key every door is locked every area has cameras all my guest are stopped by the front desk and announced. it was a big concern of mine my security is very important to me. I am so glad I made the right choice. If you're looking for a beautiful place to live and to truly call home the Alexander is where it's at. If you're looking for the best of the best this this is where it's at. I am so happy I made the right choice my future plans are to remain here permanently. I've been dying to write a review of this wonderful building since I moved in 3 months ago. Let me start off saying it's such a pleasure to live at the Alexander. The outside of the building speaks for itself; inside is screaming sophistication and class. FIVE STARS from the doorman to the management team. They are willing to go above and beyond to help with any inquiries and or services. It's a family run building and it shows in every detail, everyone is so nice and willing to help. Everything is clean and spotless. I LOVE the gym/pool area it feels like I'm in a luxurious spa. The Doorman is a blessing, these guys do a great job, and everybody knows my name. The location is perfect, beautiful views, and everything in walking distance. BEST MOVE I EVER MADE.... And check out the awesome welcome basket I received. The Alexander is very impressive, and I must say that the doorman staff is great, especially the early evening & weekend staff is beyond great to come home and be welcomed by them, I must say that in this day and age of texting, phones etc. some of our youth have forgotten manners but glad to see that there is senior (meaning seasoned) staff that make you feel safe & secure.
