STAY AWAY: 54 Straight Days of 24/7 Generator Noise + Fumes, 75-85 Decibels We've lived at Liberty Harbor for years, but for the past 54 days there's been a massive diesel generator running 24/7 right outside our child's bedroom window -- blasting 75-85+ decibels of noise nonstop and spewing fumes. My wife is nine months pregnant and we can't open our windows or sleep properly. Management's response? Silence. No resolution, no rent relief, and zero concern for our family's health or basic quality of life. They raise the rent without issue, but when it comes to this - nothing. If you're considering moving here, think twice -- you may be paying luxury prices to breathe diesel exhaust around the clock while management ignores you. read more

This place has gone way down hill. Electricity issues, rodent infestations, cockroaches, unsavories from the beer garden and hospital next door, speeding cars and a flooded dog run that's probably teeming with diseases. Skip Liberty Harbor if you can, there are way better developments. read more

Update: my apartment flooded several times. Construction was great trying to identify and remedy the cause with no resolve. Leasing & management was unreasonable wanting to charge me MORE rent, 7 floors down for the same apartment (with no view) after living there 2 years and the flood no fault of my own. You are forced to use Goldcoast Broadband if you live in the buildings owned by this company, as part of some money-making scheme. The internet goes down for several hours at a time and there are constant outages. The internet company only fixes the internet during business hours despite having an "office" down the street. But if you want to live/invest here, that's what you're stuck with. In addition, the condos/apartments are built in a way that makes them look nice, but several things are cheaply constructed, so you may find things not holding up to wear and tear as much as you'd like. Make sure to account for this in the cost of living/owning. read more

************BEWARE************ : The leasing office tried to pull a fast one on us saying that our lease was ending 1 month after our actual lease was supposed to end. I found out that this had happened to numerous people in the building. What a scam! I offered to pay a half month's rent to terminate my lease 1 month early. I figured this was reasonable since for 2 years we have been near perfect tenants. The leasing office counter-offered with something ridiculous. I countered offered again and never heard back. I called the head leasing manager, and he kept rudely interrupting me trying to justify his lies. I understand that terminating a lease early is a privilege, but this isn't how you should treat your tenants! read more

Working to find an apartment remote and across the country was extremely difficult. I had talked to multiple realtors and Cami was the first to make my entire process easy, stress free and as if I had a friend helping me through it. If the maintenance team didn't have Nick, there would be no way this place would have 5 stars in the maintenance department. He's the glue (literally) that holds this place together. The last job we had to put installation on all our windows and management kept making him run around on the day of the appointment (which was already a week after I reported the issue ). Nick knew the pain we were in and made sure to get the job done no matter what. Thank god! Also want to give a shoutout to Judy at the front desk at 30 Regent. Attentive, courteous, helpful, and most of all just a very pleasant person to be around. read more

Our AC was out the other day and Joseph K. showed up at our apt. to fix it. He was so great! Very polite, took his time to fix our AC unit and ensured that it was working properly before leaving. He also came back later in the day to check on us and make sure we didn't have any other issues. The only reason I'm leaving 3 stars instead of 5 is because he's probably one of the very few positive things about Liberty Harbor. 5 stars for Joseph K. but 3 stars for Liberty Harbor! read more

Horrible management. They don't value their residents feedback. The management owns a monopoly on the phones, internet connections, cable and parking. All the services are crappy and expensive. The latest internet outage lasted 7 days and when we requested the owner to provide us with an alternative Internet Service provider, he mentioned that he is not even required to provide internet connections in the building. I for one am definitely moving out this year. Stay away from this place! read more

Day six with no Internet service anywhere in Liberty Harbor. The development makes everyone use Gold Coast Broadband, so when they screw up, there's no escape. Yesterday morning, they sent out a status update claiming service was back. Complete lie! Unless you feel like living in the Dark Ages, avoid Liberty Harbor! read more

I could not agree more with LK below. I moved out of 9 Regent in late April (since they raised my rent by $400) and they were ridiculous about the whole situation. I got charged for any sort of scratch that you would need a microscope to see. We never walked with shoes in our apartment for the 2 years we lived there and they said our carpets were filthy and they'd need to wash them for the next tenant. First of all I would hope they'd wash all the carpets every time a new tenant moved (Including those in the hallway with dog shit stains everywhere). Second they were always a weird beige color since we moved in and if they're supposed to be white... EW. Then they said our oven was in bad condition too. Well all I used my oven for was to store pots and pans that I didn't use since I never cook. All in all they kept about 20% of our hefty security deposit to do all the necessary cleaning. And a $10 charge to cover and paint over a thumb tack hole in a wall LoL can't even go there right now. Aren't they supposed to repaint the whole place anyway? I've dealt with the building construction noises from next door and the beer garden chaos from below those are typical annoying city noises. However, Grand Street property management is worse than any of that since they will find every single way to milk your wallet. They are very unorganized and don't know what's going on in the building maybe they have too many to manage and too little staff. For example our neighbors were renting their place on airbnb and we'd have different European tourists every week. Then the neighbors upstairs had about 12 people living there moving furniture all day/night (was confirmed by my doorman)... Quite a mess. Other than the super thin walls the apartments are nice and spacious but not worth any of this crap! read more

I just moved to 333 Grand building and I couldnt be more satisfied with the concierge service. Chris, Tatiana, Jamal and Greg are great!!! They are not only amazing people but they are great at their job. Always having the best attitude and making sure everything in the building works fine. I am very happy with them. :):) read more

He is quite a fairy godmother who has helped from fixing issues with the dishwasher to volunteering to check out the temperature gauge on the water heater so that our apartment could have some nicer, warmer showers. It's all very simple. The apartments are nice but built cheaply. The management company is the WORST landlord a human being can have. Charging exorbitant amounts of $$$ for minor stains/scratches and even want MORE than your security deposit in the end. They are criminals. I'd almost expect a leasing office to be terrible to you after you've moved in and are paying rent, but not before. We made a 10AM appointment on a Saturday with Kevin to see apartments in 50 Regent. He rolled in ~10 minutes late and seemed annoyed that we were going to leave for our next appointment. We rescheduled for later in the day, and once again he acted as if we were an inconvenience on his schedule. Came by at 4:30 (our new appointment time), and he didn't show up for over 20 minutes. My friend and I finally left and put down an apartment application elsewhere. If this is how they treat potential residents, I don't even want to know how they treat people who already live there. There are plenty of other apartment buildings in the area with leasing agents who are much more professional. read more

We lived at 30 Regent Street for 3 years and had a fantastic experience! The best part of living here is definitely the concierge in the lobby, specifically Judy Falato. She was warm and welcoming every time we came through the doors, but more specifically, kept our whole life on track with mail deliveries, dry cleaning, and any building/community questions! She was extremely professional, knowledgeable and just brightened our day! We felt very safe and secure in this building. We didn't need much maintenance work during our stay here but our hot water heater did break last summer and facilities quickly replaced it for no cost which was a huge help. They also quickly attended to a broke AC one summer. I would say the pitfalls of this place are the required cable provider--Goldcoast Broadband. We lost WIFI for THREE weeks last year and found the provider generally unreliable with virtually no customer support. I hope that Liberty Harbor is considering switching to another provider, or at least giving tenants the option of using someone else. Overall, I would really recommend 30 Regent for anyone looking! read more

She showed up on short notice to help us tour the unit. To date we haven't experienced any hidden surprises, fees, or anything of the like which is refreshing. I moved into The Regent almost two months ago and I've been so incredibly happy here. Heidi was my leasing agent and I'm really thankful she was so patient with me during the leasing process. The building staff is always friendly and helpful, and any issues are addressed immediately. Judy at the front desk always puts a smile on my face and Nick in maintenance has been great at fixing anything needed. When he replaced the rod and shelf in my closet he even sent me pictures so I could see it while I was at work. He's also incredibly friendly and ensures everything is okay whenever I run into him. My apartment and the building are exactly what I was looking for. It's a great comfortable place to come home to every day. read more

Large layouts, vibrant community vibe and stellar amenities. I have two friends who live here and thoroughly enjoy the theater and community rooms available to them, because they host little get togethers and film screenings. Construction is still taking place on various stages of development (particularly on Liberty View). Parking decks below the units keep the streets super quiet. read more

I wanted to reach out and thank my man, Jamal, that works as a concierge here at 50 Regent. My fire alarm has been malfunctioning and based on the time, I wouldn't be able to have the issue resolved until tomorrow morning. Instead, Jamal decided to take it into his own hands by coming up to the room and replacing the batteries for me. He found a ladder, carried it to the room, and discovered that the fire alarm was malfunctioning. This is definitely something he didn't need to do, but his strong desire to help sent him to help me anyway. Solid place to live. Apartment is nice, never had any trouble with mice or long waits to have small things fixed. Front desk people are a blessing and very helpful.
