This review is SOLELY on the help I received from Cami as I have not fully moved in yet (move in date @ the end of Jan). I will provide an update on the building and life @ 333 etc after I've been in for a few months. Cami was EXTREMELY helpful in finding me a unit that fit my needs. I went back and met her maybe 4 times to see units within 333 Grand and their other properties. I was pretty clear on my wants and needs and she was able to go above and beyond for me. Truthfully, I was debating on another building all together and when I told her the only thing holding me back she was able to work some magic and help me get in the building. She was never bothered by the ton of emails I sent and when we found my new home she was kind enough to chat through some decor suggestions :). I actually hope we can catch up once I'm in as I'll need a friend in the neighborhood. Thank you Cami! read more

The building has a persistent mice and rat issue. According to neighbors reported on Livly (their internal app), at least 5 units have been breached with mice spotted. One neighbor also reported a rat (not mouse) in the first floor restroom, and front desk said "it happened all the time". Additionally, many have reported mice sightings on the 7th floor deck, 2nd floor trash room, and C-level roof top grill (above 12th floor) As a former resident, I also had mice running into my unit. I've lived in this community for over five years, and overall it has been a solid and enjoyable place to call home. The building amenities are genuinely great--well-maintained, modern, and convenient for everyday living. The property management office has a tough job, and I've always appreciated their effort. Dania and her team consistently do their best to make sure residents are taken care of, and it shows. The maintenance and concierge staff also deserve a lot of credit; they work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the building running smoothly and to make residents feel comfortable. If there's one area that could improve, it's the accounting department. They're not the friendliest or most partnership-focused team--you can often feel like just a number when dealing with them. It doesn't ruin the experience, but it's something worth noting. Ownership does seem to care about the building and the people who live here. Sometimes the message or the intention gets lost between departments, but overall, the heart is there. One of the highlights of living here is the community. Most of the buildings have great, friendly, community-minded neighbors. The tallest building tends to feel a bit less warm and connected, but the others more than make up for it. If you value a welcoming community, you'll find it here. After five years, I can honestly say this place has been good to me. It's not perfect, but it's well-run, thoughtfully maintained, and filled with good people. read more

I have been living here for a year now and I want to share my experience. I will explain both the positives and the negatives to provide a fair review. Pros: It is a beautiful new building with great amenities. They clean the apartment spotless before you move in. Since everything is almost brand new, you don't encounter many issues (i.e. break downs, cloaking, etc.). Great gym, pool, grills, common spaces, 13th floor rooftop is amazing. You will enjoy all the amenities a lot. Location is convenient, you are close to Path, Light Rail, JC downtown, Liberty State Park, etc. The apartments have high ceilings, large windows, nice kitchen cabinets, and bathroom vanities, etc. Cons: If you are facing Jersey Ave/Grand Street, it is very noisy. There are so many loud cars (modified with aftermarket exhaust) passing by all the time, day and night, waking you up all the time. Hospital adds to it too, there are some people visiting hospital who make noise, argue loudly or just yell or sing loudly without any reason. The internet is through Gold Coast Broadband (you don't have any other option), I think it is a good internet, I haven't experienced any major disruptions but some people want to have choices which you don't have here. And now the biggest con is that the dog pee in front of the building. Unfortunately, pet owners just let their dogs pee right in front of the building. Now we have pools of pee in concrete and it smells terrible all the time. You can understand that no one wants to smell that walking out of their building. No matter how much people love dogs, why should they live with the stink of other people's pets' waste. And the property management is doing nothing about this despite our several requests. Apartment complexes must have required standards or cleanliness and sanitation. We are expected to be given a waste-free odor-free environment by the property management. We definitely lost sanitary for this building. I hope this review was helpful. As I said I tried to be fair but for me the cons are more than the pros I receive here, hence the lower rating. UPDATE: Management reached out to me regarding the dog pee issue and explained that they are working on a solution in a couple of weeks. I'd give this place 0 stars if possible. Where to start?? 1 . The developer tried to get away with illegally building a roof with amenity space, extra large balconies for the 12 apartments that have them, used an illegal building substance for the facade. The fate of the roof is unknown at this point, but be aware if you try to ask property management what's going on - they lie to you and tell you they've been out of the office.... 2. Property management - the absolute worst ever. Lies upon lies to the residents, and oh if you are a woman, don't expect to be treated like an equal. 3. The developer forces you to use his son's incredibly crappy internet service provider, so we can continue to line the family's pockets. 4. The "retail space" we were promised at the base of our building is being taken over by the hospital. 5. Construction has been a constant issue, between new buildings for this complex and the hospital across the street. I tell everyone where I live that thinks it's a "nice" building that it's a pig in lipstick, it looks great from the outside, but take a better look, it's still a pig. Save your money, there are many, many better places to live in JC. read more

!!!! RENTERS BEWARE !!!! We have lived at 333 Grand for nearly 2 years. In the beginning, we enjoyed living here. There were many amenities, fun organized social gatherings, and the staff is nice. Now, I'm sad to say we seriously cannot wait to leave. Here's why: 1. LOUD CONSTRUCTION. No one told us when we signed that there was construction scheduled for a parking garage and a new building next door. The pile driving was insanely loud and drove many neighbors out of the building. Imagine constant pummeling over and over again for months. Even friends who live in Paulus Hook and Harborside were bothered by the noise... that's how loud it was. BE WARNED THERE WILL BE CONSTRUCTION IN LIBERTY HARBOR FOR MANY MORE YEARS. THERE WILL BE MORE PILE DRIVING FOR THIS EXPANSIVE DEVELOPMENT. I don't even use an alarm clock anymore. If you live in ANY Liberty Harbor building, you may be subjected to loud construction noise each weekday for a very long time. When we confronted Property Management and asked why it was never disclosed that there would be very disruptive construction, the attitude was "deal with it". They did not offer tenants reduced rent, even though the noise is unbearable and it interferes with our work and quality of life. They only put out a bowl in the lobby with cheap earplugs. What a joke. All tenants have an implied right to peace and quiet. The developers clearly do not care about this. If you are still considering moving into a Liberty Harbor building (especially 333 Grand or 50 Regent), I suggest you book your tour on a weekday during business hours. Especially if you are working from home. You can then judge the noise for yourself. 2. PRIVACY - The (undisclosed) construction of the parking garage is now 7 stories high, and level with our windows. We now constantly have construction workers in front of our windows who can see inside. I have to change clothes in the bathroom for privacy because the stock window shades are transparent. I can't even change in my own bedroom. 3. SECURITY - The building was advertised as having a 24/7 concierge at the front desk. They sneakily got rid of the late-night shift and did not send a formal announcement to tenants. They replaced many real jobs during the pandemic with a digital 'ButterflyMX' system. Now no one is monitoring the building entrances between 11 pm and 7 am. Homeless people have been able to get in and sleep in the lobby overnight. Also, apparently someone forgot their keys and was locked out of the building until 7 am the next morning because no one could let her in. Who wants to risk that? 4. POOR WIFI - The only internet service you may use is also owned by the developer's family. I'm not sure how they get away with this. The service is horrible and super slow. UNPROFESSIONALISM - The leasing manager and his assistant were very unprofessional and rude leading up to our signing when we asked basic questions. He was quick to respond accurately to any and all of our questions, comments, and concerns. He was very communicative, and helped us understand the leasing process from the get-go. He knows his buildings, and knows what tenants are looking for. Nothing is sugar-coated, and what you see is what you get. Been living here for about a week and a half and I am loving it! The room, gym, and virtual game screen are all so awesome. If anyone is looking to move here, send a PM and I can answer some basic questions :) Also, the building helps with issues in a quick professional manner. Gabriel came to install our light fixtures and we had great conversation while he did it. The man speaks six languages! As you can probably tell, I am very happy with the building and the service I've received thus far. Shout out to LH for doing well with the newest apartment building. Now I gotta shout out my man, concierge Chris Middleton. He is usually the concierge on shift when I come home from work. He is always a pleasure to see after a long strenuous day of work finished with a long commute in traffic to top it off. As angry as I am when I walk in, it's hard to start mad when he says "Welcome home" with a smile and a fist bump. It is a gesture that seems so small yet it means so much. Thank you Chris! read more

Management has been responsive and has resolved all maintenance requests quickly. The internet works well and was able to be activated before moving in so we could work from home without interruption. David Reiss at 333 Grand is awesome. I liked working with him. He is very responsive and take quick action. I never had to wait for any response from him. On my request he showed me multiple units multiple time and never made any complaint to keep showing the same units again and again. He made himself available to us as per our convenient time, even if it was too late on evening. Throughout the process he was very helpful and calm. This review is specifically for the staff Nick Cukier, from maintenance. Nick is an absolute pleasure to work with, he is extremely professional and thoughtful in the work her performs. Too often do people come in just to do the task at hand, Nick does a fantastic job at analyzing everything happening in the apartment and seeing if there is anything else he can do to assist you. For us, after our ceiling fan install he recognized to maximize airflow from our AC unit, which has historically provided minimal airflow he could change the direction of the vents. That dramatically increased the amount of airflow in the room. I always appreciate people who constantly put their best foot forward and Nick has demonstrated he is one of those individuals. It's been a month since I moved into 333 Grand St, and I absolutely love it! The gym, lobby(study area) and lounge is super awesome. Great amenities and monthly events with residents organized by the management made this 333 grand a home, rather than an apartment. Especially with the support of Chris at the front desk. Given my previous experience with lost package at my old apartment, I can't say how much I appreciate Chris being on top of every one of my package. Chris knows when my package arrive, and tell me when I arrive at the door, unlike other places, where you need to manage it yourself. This is probably the longest yelp review I have ever written, and it was a great decision to choose 333 grand as my home for the next two years. read more

He provided his expertise in setting up and fixing few things as I moved in. I'm amazed by his knowledge of so many cultures, languages and food across the globe. He is super prompt and extremely helpful. The concierge staff is always welcoming and greets you with a smile. They make a very positive environment within the building and always happy to help in any way possible. He helps with packages and reporting issues, which is a lot of work as you can image when people moved in together to a new building. Although we had some trouble with the initial move in process, we've been settled in for 2 months now and love it! The building is brand new and the amenities are exceptional. But what makes this place great is the staff. I have to give a shout out our concierges who I enjoy seeing everyday (especially Chris Middleton, Jamal and Greg), property management who truly accommodates our needs (thanks Mike and Matt!) and all the people who help maintain the beauty of our building (go Gabriel!) Cami was a great agent for leasing at 333 Grand. We are moving in February but the process of finding the perfect unit was seamless and easy with her help. We contacted Cami about a different property and based on our wishlist and budget, she steered us toward the 333 Grand and 50 Regent buildings. The first unit she showed us was the perfect fit! Cami was very knowledgeable about available promotions, amenities and lease/moving questions. She responded very quickly via email and text and was super thorough and detailed. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!! Where to begin!!! As the other reviewer below said.. this place is a pig in lipstick. The exterior and the lobby (and the apartments themselves) are very nice.. purely for looks. the only bright spot of this building are the amazing concierge staff.. seriously they go above and behind and are literally the one positive thing i have to say about this true h*ll hole. lets start with: 7am to 6pm (sometimes later!) ear shattering construction in the back. A fact the smarmy leasing agent left out when we signed our lease in aug 2018. I was 7m preg when we signed... for him to omit this KEY detail was shameful. on several occasions the constructions has been going on a 9pm AT NIGHT!!! it is truly awful. let's see what else.. the apartments themselves! yes they are visually appealing- that's where it ends!!! they might as well be built from tissue paper.. you hear EVERYTHING- a cotton ball dropping/a footstep- anything... There are not even people living above our unit- the people 2 above us are total animals.. constant stomping, throwing things, screaming.. we hear EVERYTHING. it's truly mind boggling, not to mention infuriating. the mocco/macco whatever family are total cr00ks.. they force you to use their own F MINUS cable system- forbidding fios or anything else from being installed in the building the hot water lasts about 10 minutes.. good luck having a hot shower if your sig other takes one right before you and good luck dealing with/getting help from property management.. the turnover is practically daily... they could care less about their tenants and it truly shows. Maintenance was very nice and fast which I appreciate given I was in the middle of a call in this working from home environment.

I've lived in quite a few apartment buildings and this was absolutely my least favorite. There were a lot of errors throughout our move-in process that forced us to load up a truck, be denied moving the bulk of our items in, to then have to drive back home & unpack only to do the whole thing over a few days later. When I moved into the apartment, there was a giant crack throughout the entire window, chips in the bathtub, the walls are all wonky - it is not a well made building. They were so proud of their double windows to ensure no noise, yet I could hear the crosswalk beeping incessantly while I tried to sleep. Then their AC unit made horrific noises even when it was off throughout the night. I sent multiple videos of my 3am experiences with this horrific noise (happy to share upon request!). They told me they could not do anything about it because they had to experience it in person and informed me next time it happened at 3am, I would have to wake up, walk down stairs, request someone to come up, only to listen in person to the exact same noises I had shared via video. Finally I threatened to break the lease and they informed me that they had an apartment available ... for more money. We sucked it up and switched. Then while I was researching how to get a parking pass in Jersey City, I was informed that I couldn't because I live in a high rise. I found that interesting and did more research into the legislature and learned that 333 Grand had broken the law. They are legally obligated to inform tenants that they will not be able to park on the street and sign a form saying they acknowledge this and know the price per month to park. Additionally this glorious roof we were told about - was never built, we had no access to the roof and there was no discount on rent for losing out on a major amenity. They locked all of their grills so you have to put in a request to use them - they're also only available about 2/12 months! Constant construction. It's not worth it, you can get so much bang for your buck elsewhere. read more

Moving into this new building makes me very happy. The Amentities are great. The concierge staff are all very nice, kind and responsible. Chris is so helpful and always willing to do more to make our life easier. Tatiana always opens the entrance door lock for me when I go to work in the morning which saves my time.
