Then we had a reservation at the Tropical Sands resort in Seista Key from the 1st to the 5th of January. We have been going to Siesta Key for about 15 years and it is our favorite place to vacation, however this was our first experience with Tropical Sands. We received notice on Dec 24th ( Christmas Eve Day) that my brother had unexpectedly died that day. We immediately canceled our flight, rental car and reservation in Naples with no issues. When we tried to reschedule our reservations at Tropical Sands we were told that the agreement, with no exceptions, we signed indicated no refunds after 60 days prior to reserved days. We had paid the the reservation in full and have no recourse at this time to retrieve our $1500+ prepayment not even in any form of rescheduling. There are many wonderful places to vacation on this great island retreat but Tropical Sands certainly is not one of them.

We were not happy with Tropical Sands Accommodations. We arrived the floor of our place was so…read more"bleached" that it was difficult to breath and we had to open all of the windows and turn on the fan for 24 hours. My husbands black socks on the bottom turned white from the bleach on the floor. The fan in the bathroom does not work and there is mold on one of the chairs on the front porch. There were a few dead bugs in some of the bowls in the kitchen and one of the shelves in the refrigerator was broken and held together with duck tape which finally gave out. We could not find a parking space today. We called management in the beginning of our vacation and they did not respond. On the positive the pool is clean and wonderful and easy access to the beach is great.

My 1st contact with Christina Miller was an email inquiring about a condo In July 2018. We made offers on 3 Condos before closing on a condo the end of April 2019. The entire time we kept in touch either by texting, emailing or calling to discuss what was available. She always got right back to me. When it came time for the closing process Christina and Karrie were amazing. We closed in less than 30 days.. They were there every step of the way as I never left New York. This is our second time renting at Midnight Cove II and I can say we won't be booking again…read more Cockroaches (more than one) despite the pest control that came to spray (and gaslighted me by saying this is normal - we are in Florida) as if cockroaches should be totally acceptable when you spend a few thousand dollars to stay here. No. I have made plenty of visits here and several other warm climate destinations and "barrier islands" and I have never had to deal with cockroaches like this. The floor was dirty upon entry - food and crumbs beneath the couch. The temperature would not regulate - air kicked on and off randomly despite trying to adjust the thermostat. We went from boiling hot to freezing cold each and every night. Large cracks and gaps at the base of doors. We could not even use the outdoor screened porch because cockroaches and lizards making their way in through the large gap. No thanks. Beware and spend your money elsewhere.

I went to a lawyer and found out I had not purchased a segment of the land, it was under a different lot ID Number. Neither real estate agents nor brokers did their due diligence to make sure everything was correct at signing. I had to get this problem fixed before I lost part of my land. I went to them to ask for an error and emission claim ( which they pay for the insurance for situations like this) and they just wanted to blame the other side and not remedy this with their client. Oh ya they offered me $500 for the trouble I had to go through and as a thank you for being a customer (I just have to sign a legal release first). Will never do business with this company ever and neither should you.

My complaint is with one of their agents. I only hope that the next time Pat Wall falls in love with something, she won't have to deal with an insensitive, greedy, down right nasty person who makes a stressful situation so much worse than it needs to be and almost sucks the joy right out of attaining that thing she's set her heart on. I don't wish that on anyone... even her. I do realize she's in the business to make money and I'm sure she's simply peachy with cash buyers, but don't be fooled by her "sweet to your face" act; she's a piece of work.

My husband and I have just returned from a glorious three day mini-vacation at The Blue Cottage…read more Nestled in a quiet pocket of Siesta Key Village, it's hard to believe that The Blue Cottage is only a short five minute walk to the beach and to the bustling main strip of the village, chock full of shops, bars and restaurants. The Cottage itself has been totally renovated and is jammed full of amenities like two flat screen tv's, a fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops, an expansive living room, wifi, and an extremely comfortable king size bed. There's an intimate open air porch off of the bedroom with comfy wicker furniture. It is so nice that we had to motivate ourselves to get up to go to the beach. Molly and Bill, the owners, have anticipated all of their guests' needs and you couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Do yourself a favor --- stay at The Blue Cotttage. You won't be sorry. And I'm sure you'll come back again and again. I know we will.

Then my EXP realtor failed to check the box that the property would be occupied by a tenant (The buyer knew this. They just found a loop hole to demand a lower price as my EXP realtor's mistake put me in breach of contract). I had to hire an attorney who educated me to this situation as my realtor was too cowardly to tell me herself. I hired another realtor, at my own cost, to navigate me through this nightmare, while my EXP realtor refused to let me out of my listing agreement even though her negligence cost me $15k. She was only too happy to take the money off the back of another realtor's hard work. Thankfully, the buyer failed to close, which allowed me to let my listing agreement to expire with this horrible realtor and her worthless broker. My new broker, Keller Williams On The Water was able to re-list my property and everything went off without a hitch.

I hired EXP Realty on 7/18/2022. The contract says EXP Realty has 1 business day to post my listing…read morein the MLS, however they took 8 days. The realtor I was working with said the market is going down and removed my listing and reposted it, however I did not sign a new listing agreement of the new price. My property was reduced twice with no new listing agreement. I asked the realtor and broker to release and cancel my listing and they refused unless I pay $3,269.95. They have now removed my property online from the public eye making me lose thousands of dollars since the interest rate is going up, yet the don't want to release and cancel my contract. They are purposely keeping me from selling my house and now causing me health issues. This is beyond unethical, unprofessional and unfair.
