BE AWARE OF THIS BUILDING! Do not rent a condo close to the elevators! My husband and I can't express how unsatisfied we are with the excessive noise being transferred into our unit. It's so irritating! Even after our complaints to the Operations Manager, even after reporting the problem to the General Manager and reporting the issue to the Ohana Beach Rentals, even after their visit inside the condo to check the noise, nobody does anything! They just wrote an email saying the noise is normal (?!) and since then we are being ignored. Loud noises and vibrations on your wall, can't be normal mainly in a condo rented for U$6,000.00 per month! That's just unacceptable! It's pretty clear that there are significant maintenance issues with the elevators at the Waikiki Watermark. Probably a proper maintenance review would show either severe guide rail adjustment or worn guide wheels. Maybe for the units not close to the elevators, this noise is not loud, but for the units in front of the elevators and in the lower floors, the noise and vibrations on the wall affects the unit at all hours of the day, night, 24/7 and more-so, at the times that we need to sleep. But again, nothing has been done and it seems to be avoided by the management of the Watermark. We heard from the employee that came inside our condo to check the noise from the elevators that it sounds like a "New York subway"! At this point, we don't know what is more disturbing, this comment or the fact that as customers, we are being just ignored. Hopefully, this review can "save" someone to face the same surreal situation. Be sure you can visit the condo and check this out before sign any contract! read more
