A small park located in Orange Beach, Alabama. There is not much to this park, but it has nice water views and seemingly good fishing. It is located next to the Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach. It is well kept and all in all, a very nice find

*extremely* small beach for dogs. It only can fit one family at a time. The boardwalk is inaccessible due to damage. Backs up to Wolf Bay. Other than fort Morgan, it's the only dog friendly beach I've found. Because it's so tiny, I'm rating it 3 stars.

Nice picnic area in Orange Beach, AL.

I would really like to keep this a secrete since it has been a go to place for my wife and myself on Friday afternoons or after a Saturday beach day, for a very quiet picnic area. There are several cover pavilions and some tables in the open. We opt for the picnic table under one or the trees. It is a place and the art center is close by as well. At the end of the parking lot is the inter-coastal waterway. Enjoyable place to watch the boats. There is also a playground onsite however it is closed right now due to Covid-19.

We came here for the USSSA World Series. We had to pay $45 a person for passes to get into the park for the week. Back home the World Series in Texas is a $25 week pass. The passes seamed pretty steep. You have to pay if you want to see your boy play. Coolers 0 stars - My biggest complaint is the complex would only let each team bring in two coolers. No other coolers were not allowed in. So, you can only buy drinks and food from the concession stand. We are in the Deep South and it is crucial for spectators to hydrate in July outside in the sun all day. A parent in our team got heat exhaustion. He had to miss a day of his boy playing to stay in bed to recuperate. That is just greedy on their part. They are wanting to make money over people being healthy. I will have to give different star ratings for different parts of the facility. Restrooms 5 stars - There is an attendant that cleans and refills every hour. An added bonus is they are air conditioned. Fields 3 stars - the fields are in good condition, there's some holes in the fences near the dugout on field 3 that the ball kept getting out of the field. Also, they used portable mounds. Parking lot 1 star - Our team brought a trailer with us for all the boy's equipment. The Orange Beach facility has a trailer parked over near the bathrooms at the soccer field. So, our team parked their trailer their as well. We were asked to move ours, but they are allowed to park theirs there? Makes no sense!

This is such a beautiful peaceful spot..it is right beside the new coastal art gallery..it has a new playground for the kids and two docks to fish from. There are picnic tables ( covered) and swings in the trees to sit and look at the peaceful intercoastal.. we came from the crowded beach and this was such a nice spot ,not tons of people..

We spotted the playground on our way to lunch and our kids asked to check it out! This is a fun, imaginative play structure....kids loved it. At the back of the park is a dock and some pretty stunning views. Nice little park.

This turned out to be quite the find especially in the off-season, it's rare to be able to enjoy such a place with an unobstructed view and isolation except for a few birds chasing sand crabs and bait fish. If you only focus on the beauty it hard to believe you're only a stone's throw from civilization. The only thing missing was a beach covered in beautiful shells and maybe a few well placed palm trees to add a little shade and some ambiance. Well there were some small shells and a slight breeze so I was happy happy happy to steal a line from Bob Ross, I think this is a scene he would of painted, maybe add a little "Yellow Ochre" and a touch of "Phthalo Blue" yeah I think those would complete the painting. There are a few amenities here, a restroom, a few pop machines and two extremely long board walks to get you from the parking lot to the sugar sand. I don't know if I've really ever experienced a perfect day I know I've been blessed to have had so many great ones but this is a bucket list place that I wasn't expecting. I think this is how everyday should be...

Amenities include onsite restrooms, picnic shelters, and usually a few food trucks for refreshments. You do have to walk for a little ways to get to the actual beach so those who have mobility issues might want to pass on this location. Once you get to the beach though, beautiful white sugar sand will be waiting for you. I was very impressed with the beach, very clean and awesome sand quality. The waves were a little rough on the day that we went but there is a side off of the gulf that is adjacent to the canal that has calmer water if you want to go swimming. The canal offers fun views of various boats going in and out of the harbor. Lifeguards are sometimes on duty at this location but not all of the time. This beach is basically in the middle of the action in OB. You are within a short distance of many great restaurants, shops, and bars and the Florida state line. Beach was never too crowded when we went and that was at the height of Spring Break season. Great time at the ocean!

Some trails are concrete while others are wooden boardwalks so you are walking above the swamps. There are benches along the way and on one trail a playground with slides and a fort like structure. There are also bathrooms in some areas. Obviously it is Florida so all flat terrain. Some of the trails take you to the beach and others around a beautiful lake and campground. There were people around every time we hiked so felt pretty secure. There is also a resturant along the way but we did not make it there. Trails are for walkers and bikers so be cautious of the bicycles but almost all rides were courteous. I highly recommend taking a stroll or a bike ride in the park. There are bike rentals at the state park and if you stay there bikes are included.

There's one wooden boardwalk that is approximately 100 feet long & then only another 100 feeto the shoreline. When you reach the end of the boardwalk, you are greeted by a large wooden turtle with a large wooden toy box. The turtle reads got a toy, leave a toy, need a toy, take a toy. So, if you forget sand pails, shovels, & other random tools for occupying the kids, it's there so they can create sand castle cities or to bury you in the sand for fun pics, very cool! Me & my honey go here regularly and find it normally less crowded than most other other beach access areas plus there's free parking, restrooms with showers and they have concessions like snow cones during the summer season. If you look to the right, you can see the beach for miles and miles if you look to the left you see the pier attached to the Four Seasons of Romar Beach.  One of the perks of staying at the hotel is having access to the pier for an even better view of the gulf wildlife that flies by or swims in water. The view is expansive, heck we could see the fireworks on July 4th all the way over in Florida and miles east past the big beach in Gulf Shores, majestic!! Restaurants nearby, for walking, include Cotton's (but they typically don't open until 4pm), Gilbey's Seafood & Steak.. There is also a Starbucks and Dairy Queen nearby if you are looking for something a little quicker. Bottom line: It's a nice piece of beach with most ammenities you need. Love it!!
