A couple dolphins decided to cruise alongside us for quite a bit of time. The marine sea creatures were so much fun. Loved being able to touch and learn about these beautiful creatures. There were not enough passengers to fill two boats, so we didn't do a water fight. Instead, the kids got to shoot the water off of the boat and still had a blast. This dolphin cruise was so much fun. Staff were so friendly and kind. Two hours was the perfect amount of time as well. Be sure to tip staff. We used the QR code to tip via Venmo. This cruise was specifically great because it was alcohol free. Our family enjoyed that a lot.

When in season we've always landed out limit on snapper and he's usually been able to mix it up some as well. In addition to the usual red, white, vermillion snapper we've come away with trigger fish, Spanish and king mackerel, and on one occasion a 150 lb bull shark. Beyond getting us on fish their quality of service is great. He's very sociable and good with younger ones (we've taken 10 year olds out as well as adults only groups). Their service is summed up well in that when you arrive back at the dock his wife is there waiting with smoked snapper dip (Cajun and regular) with crackers to enjoy while they're cleaning your catch.

Captain Randy was a fantastic skipper who made the cruise very enjoyable and comfortable for all. Unlike some other sailing companies, we ACTUALLY sailed in the Gulf (engine off) and enjoyed the breeze and the views. As a sailor on Lake Michigan, Captain Randy let me take the helm of the 35-foot Beneteau for much of the sail. (THANKS, Captain!) He has tons of local knowledge and provided great information to our group. The boat was super clean - the topsides dazzling white and the woodwork varnish below deck looked wet it was so fresh looking. My only regret is that we did not book a longer cruise. Tom H. It was a little crowded if you were fishing on the sides of the boat. The captain did his best to put us on fish, and moved a number of times. All in all, it was fun and we each caught some fish. The mates were really good - they took your fish off, cut up bait, helped with tangled rods, cleaned your fish. If you can afford to charter a captain and boat, that would definitely be more fun. And I cannot imagine taking the 3pm fishing trip if it's July or August - it would be hotter than hell. But for the cost, this was fun. Definitely a well-managed operation.

The "Sea Hunter" fishing boat and its crew was exactly what our group needed. It was a spacious boat with an air conditioned cabin and plenty of space for our group. We caught our limit of red snapper and a king mackerel, so the catching was great. The boat staff cleaned our fish when we returned to the marina, and we took quite a few fillets to Zeke's restaurant where they cooked them up for us; what an awesome feature!! Everyone loved the fresh fish and sides, and we did a few appetizers to round out the lunch. Give these folks a try, and I bet you will love them like we did!

Our party of 4 caught 40+ snapper and the deck hands were amazing with cleaning and attending to all of us during the charter! I can't wait to try all the fish! The marina was clean and nice! The gift shop is well stocked with snacks and neat gifts! We have charted here before and highly recommend! Side note: You can have the restaurant cook the fish you caught right there at the marina! We opted to cook a meal at home, but will try the restaurant next time!

Captain Troy let us know that the day we booked, had predicted winds of 22 knots and offered an optional day. My husband and I had been on Charters before that didn't care about the weather, they just wanted the money. We agreed on the optional date and it was perfect. Captain Troy and 1st mate Sam were awesome, they made it such a wonderful experience for our grandsons and memories we will always share together.

Not only were they knowledgeable about fishing, but they were genuine, friendly people. We enjoyed laughing and joking with them along with fishing. Troy knee right where the fish were, all 6 of us caught at least 1 keeper (and many more that were too small). I really appreciated Troy's conservation approach to fishing and it was apparent he knows what he is doing as a fisherman. The boat was sparkling clean, the water was beautiful, and the people were friendly. There was nothing not to love!! If you go to Orange Beach this is the place to go!!!
