However, I was also fitted for a night guard and had to pay up front because the front office did not know what insurance would cover. I found out that insurance actually covered most of it, but after a multitude of calls and emails the office has not reimbursed me the $600+ they owe me. Very incompetent with the follow ups and it has been 6 months since the service was completed. I gave them a lot of grace because they were getting established and COVID was probably impacting productivity, but after 6 months they should have been able to resolve. They need better office management and processes. Do not pay for anything up front. Wait until they work with the insurance company and then pay the difference if any. Update: They called me today to refund back to my credit card. They have had a network outage since last Thursday. While the time to process the claim was still much longer than it should have been, I appreciate that they finally figured it out so updating to 5 stars.

For 10 months I've been trying to get an erroneous claim on their part to be fixed. They charged the wrong insurance. At first the staff was responsive but after a while they have stopped ALL communications. I've involved my insurance, benefits coordinator and head of HR, they all are trying to reach these people and zero! Nothing! Emails unanswered. Requests for more information from my insurance (which they are also trying to resolve this) are completely ignored. This behavior from their front desk and billing staff has made us move to another dental practice where they actually answer the phone and emails. Don't waste your time!!! I wish they were better because their doctors are truly good!

I called in early September to make an appointment for my 3 kids and they were solidly booked for 4 weeks so the earliest we could get in was the end of the month. My husband and have our first appts in the end of November so I may update the review, then, if needed. (Yes, for new adult patients they are booked out for 90 days.) We were told to text when we arrived and wait in our car. We had arrived 5 minutes early and received a text to come in just a few minutes after the hour. The hygienists were so patient and friendly, they made all 3 of my children feel very comfortable! Dr Helmer came in at the end and was very thorough in explaining everything he was doing and giving me any feedback and tips as well as things to expect with their age and dental changes. He was very personable and made a strong effort to get to know my family and I. At the end of the visit, the kids were given a token and got to go to the toy machine to insert it and win a prize.
