The first time that I came here my visit did not start out the best due to a mistake made by the…read morescheduling staff, issues with the assistant that took my X-rays, & my interaction with a receptionist. After I expressed my concerns my visit turned around. My dental hygienist, Dr. Turner & the other dentist made a point to make things better and were apologetic. Dr. Turner is a great dentist and was very accommodating. The dental hygienist was helpful. My future visits have been much better.

She takes the time to listen, genuinely cares about her patients, and has always treated me with kindness and respect. Her dental assistant and the hygienist who cared for me were also wonderful. They were patient, compassionate, and made me feel comfortable throughout my treatment. Unfortunately, my experience at the front desk was completely different. I arrived for what I believed was my confirmed appointment, only to be told it was no longer on the schedule. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told one was not available, but that the doctor would be contacted. Instead, another individual came to the front desk, sat down at a workstation that was already logged in, and began looking through the computer before telling me that I could not be seen and offering to reschedule me for the next day. When I politely asked to speak with Dr. Morrison, I observed the individual's tone and body language change. I felt she became rude and dismissive, repeatedly telling me that Dr. Morrison was busy and had other patients, even after I calmly explained that I was willing to wait. I also felt that she was trying to prevent me from speaking with either Dr. Morrison or the dental assistant who had personally scheduled and confirmed my appointment just two days earlier. After I was finally brought to the back by a hygienist, both Dr. Morrison and the dental assistant told me they had been completely unaware of what had occurred at the front desk. They were unaware that I had repeatedly requested to speak with them or that there had been a scheduling issue. I believe the situation could have been resolved much sooner had they simply been informed that I was asking to speak with them. While I have complete confidence in Dr. Morrison and greatly appreciate the care provided by her clinical team, I left disappointed by my front desk experience and concerned about how the situation was handled. I sincerely hope the practice reviews what occurred so that future patients are treated with the same professionalism, respect, and communication that Dr. Morrison and her clinical staff consistently provide. because **Dr. Morrison** is one of the kindest, most compassionate, caring, and professional dentists I have ever met. What an amazing experience! We recently relocated to Raleigh and were seeking a reliable, capable,…read moretreatment-conservative dentist to care for our family, and we definitely found the best in town! The staff, hygienist, dentist...everyone was profoundly polite, relaxed, extremely professional and knowledgeable. We are so impressed! I'm not a fan of dental visits...and I'm staggered that I had not only a pleasant visit, but a 5-star experience! So glad to have a new dentist we can all rely on for excellent care! Don't hesitate if you're looking for a capable office!

Absolutely Wonderful Experience!…read more From the moment I walked into Maplewood Family Dentist, I felt completely welcomed and at ease. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and the entire team went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable during my visit. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff truly takes the time to get to know you--not just as a patient, but as a person. We had some great conversations that made the whole experience feel more like catching up with friends than a dental appointment. Everyone was professional, kind, and attentive to every detail of my care. It's clear they genuinely care about their patients and take pride in creating a positive, stress-free environment. I can honestly say this was one of the best dental visits I've ever had. I highly recommend Maplewood Family Dentist to anyone looking for excellent care with a personal touch!
