The Waterfall has a serious lack of communication and communication. Karl the owner has a bad attitude and seems to encourage a blame culture in his organisation, I was openly told 2 wedding/events planners had been sacked, because they had made mistakes this was THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING, so the warning bells went off a little late for me. I will say though that his staff were excellent and tried their best, they constantly apologised, and Karl the owner needs to take a leaf out of their book.A few points to add to the below:I found out THE DAY BEFORE my wedding that a lot of what I had agreed was wrong (see below). The website advertised a Party package which I had, it says disposable camera's and party poppers supplied, we received neither. We were in the Executive Bar both the Bitter and the Lager were off, I was informed to much cleaning fluid had been put through the pipes which meant many of my guests had to trudge through to the main bar to get drinks. We had Soup as a starter, as the waiter was clearing away he managed to pour it down the back of my wedding dress and down the grooms suit jacket, luckily a member of the bar staff helped me to get it off my dress quickly. The main meal was cold, with not enough vegetables to cater for the 53 guests, myself and the groom ended up having to help the waiters serve our guests. The Groom and myself were so upset and embarrassed that we didn't eat our meal.We had pre-ordered a toast for our speeches, which was to be served at 6pm, I had to go to the bar at 6.20 to see where the toasts were, only to be informed that the bar staff had all changed shifts and no one had told them there was a toast. we finally were served this at 6.45, which was annoying as we had a magician for the children booked to start at 7pm so we had to rush through the speeches. The management staff refused to come and speak to me, they couldn't understand why I was upset!WELL KARL and Venetia, you only get one wedding day, you save hard for it and you want the day to be special, YOU FLAWED my wedding day, you can never compensate for that!I didn't want to speak to you so I could get money back if that is what you feared, I wanted to talk to you to make sure this never happens again to another Bride on her special day. Please Invest the money I paid to you in cleaning the dirty filthy carpet in the main entrance, varnishing the filthy wooden floors and possibly purchasing a couple of air fresheners to get rid of that musty smell that hung in the executive bar! read more
