I've been a member for over 2 years, I went to the car wash in Oxnard, on Fifth and Ventura Rd. This car wash is not kept up. Everytime I go, my car is not cleaned, it's just wet. So today, I finally said something because my windows are still filthy. They only brush the front window not the side. So now my car has wet dirt on the window, that is literally running down. I go back to have them rewash the car, because as I stated, I go several times a week, and my car is always still dirty. I am tired of the wet car but still dirty, So when I go back, and let them look at my car and how dirty it still is, they said there is nothing that I can do. With the membership, I can only come back tomorrow. Why would I go to a car wash to leave with a dirty car, and you can't do anything about it. So if this is how the customers are treated, I want no parts of this company. read more

I went through the carwash and came to the vacuum area. As I was driving there I could still see a large spot on my windshield. I got out and my white car was still very dirty. I went through again and he told me that the drive through car wash would not get the dirt off my car because it is a drive though and not a detailing service. I responded "so I shouldn't come here anymore?" And he said that wasn't what he said. If you are telling me you cannot remove dirt and bugs from my car, then you are indeed telling me this. I got the triple drop so I was hoping for a nice clean car - twice through and it is STILL dirty. A few hours later as the sun was setting I could not see out of my window at all. The rolling rag part of the car wash meant to help dry the car left a disgusting layer on my car that made it impossible to see out of the glass. I have to go wash my car again today. I will go through another drive through because I am a busy mom and I know others that do a good job. but I want to encourage people to not waste your money here since you will need to go somewhere else to clean the mess they leave behind. read more

Started to notice some scratching on the paint of our cars on the hood and doors. The problem with these drive through car wash places is they have to rid the brushes of contaminates or replace them. It doesn't appear Waterdrops does this. Their staff is also pretty terrible and will wave you forward when you're off track, and bring you super close to the person in front of you because they aren't paying attention. Finally, they have a bunch of political stickers inside the door. This is obviously purposely done to try and sway local opinion. The owners of Waterdrops are apparently extreme Liberals. That's fine but I don't want to be forced to fed political slogans at the car wash. I'll be cancelling my memberships tomorrow. Enjoy the next four years. read more

Great Business I apologize I thought I wrote a review earlier. I Love this place and visit their 3 locations almost every other day. I park under a tree and my car attracts bird poop....I have the basic $20 dollar a month package. It is very effective and does the job. I love the vacuums and air... both are top notch and come with the package. They also have a sink and drinks/snack vending machines. I highly recommend!!! read more

Very nice and friendly staff...however - We find it very disappointing the prices have increased two times already and there continues to be two processes not functioning within the wash for the past 2-7 months. We aren't sure what's going on here with the ownership/management. What we do know is our cars continually fail to come out as clean like they did in past years when all the processes were clean and fully functioning properly. Why spend $40 per month for lackluster washes? We're dropping our subscription and moving on. read more

There are several Waterdrops Express Car Wash locations in Oxnard. I've been to this new location on 5th Street at least 3 times & brought 3 different cars. At this location, there's an attendant that helps you when you drive up to the entrance. You let them know which wash you want & which air freshener they offer (if you choose the 2 higher options only) & take your payment. The other locations have both self pay or attendant. You proceed to the wash, where they are supposed to guide you to drive in or tell you to adjust to the left or to the right before you get in. Once you're in & they give you the ok, set your gear on Neutral & relax for a couple minutes. When you're done you can drive off with a wet car or park to wipe the excess water off. You get to vacuum your car yourself. I like to use those air hose compressor thing-a-me-jingy's for those hard to reach areas & to get in & around the side mirrors. I just pray that both sides of the vacuum/air contraption have both. I was unlucky today as there was only one air hose just on my left side. As long as I was able to reach the front & rear of my car to get in between my license plates it's all good. Although, it was a little annoying that the right side vacuum seemed a bit short in length that I couldn't reach some of the back seat or floor. But that was okay for me bec it wasn't super dirty back there, thank goodness. Hopefully you don't get low suctioning vacuums like the ones at the other Waterdrops locations. I haven't had any serious problems at any of the locations. Just today, the hood of my car still had some dots of dirt & a blob of bird $hit which I had to wipe off with a wet tissue lol. If you want a quick car wash & vacuum that's cheap, come to Waterdrops, you kinda get what you pay for. read more

As an Uber/Lyft driver, I maintain my car with regular washing at least once per week. This week that I tried using Waterdrops Express I had driven through a bug cloud. Waterdrops Express didn't even come close to even touch or removing a single bug from my front bumper or grill. Even being an "Express" car wash and not a "Detail" car wash as the owner has insinuated, there should have been at least an attempt at removing the bugs off the front of my car. This place is a joke, and the absentee owner Sam comes on here to respond to my review blaming the customer when his service is to blame. When 4+ cars that have gone through the wash in a short window of time all come out still dirty, it is obviously the car owners fault according to Sam. What a joke. Please save yourself the time, headache, and money and use a different car wash. read more

Employee with rolled eyes lol , I came every week for all of my cars but happened before that the very last rollers or brushes didn't work, the ones in each side didn't even got close to my car and the one is up it never came down they where just spinning and those are supposed to help to dry the car, so in the past I talked to the other employees and they wll fix it with no issues, but this time Lili is what she told her name is, she didn't really seem like she cares about, and she said something about no extra wash in the computer, bottom le she didn't want to help, I paid the $15 wash so I'm expecting to get what I paid for, so no a good place no more and I can see previous comments saying same thing. read more

Waterdrops Express Car Wash, 3680 West 5th Street in Oxnard, damaged our car and said it is not their responsibility. The car wash damaged our car midway through the wash process and again during the drying (blower) process. It ripped out both sides of the trim on our car's roof (see photo) and the weather stripping surrounding our windshield. What made this experience worse was that three days later, we received a call from their on-site manager telling us it is not their responsibility and refuses to cover the damage to the car. End of call. I've now begun the steps necessary to report this to my insurance and possibly take legal action against this new business in Oxnard. I'm sharing this to make my community and city aware of this car wash business and the way they have side-stepped any responsibility to their customers. Aside from the obvious feelings of not recommending this business to anyone reading this, I will also provide updates on the post-incident process in case this happens to any of you. We're lucky the damage was not more extensive, but unlucky that a new business such as Waterdrops Express Car Wash has failed to provide any support to something negative that took place on their property and was triggered by the lure of a "new neighbor" coupon sent unsolicited to our home. It is our hope that Waterdrops Express Car Wash will correct this wrong and treat their community with the respect it deserves. Please share with family and friends. Visited this place for the first time last week and I was so embarrassed by how much dirt was on my car. I was thinking I would have to go through a second time for my car to be completely clean, but that's when Randy and Guadalupe went out of there way to help. They watered my car down with a hose and used a scrub brush to ensure it was cleaned. I didn't ask and they didn't have to go out of their way, but I am grateful! They're friendly with speedy customer service. read more

This is a good concept BUT the wash did not deliver a good result. First of all, this is a do it yourself and NOT a ful service wash. Second, the drive thru wash did not get all the sticky tree drops off my car- especially on the hood. Third, it is not that cheap either. I paid $15 for a drive thru quick wash. I could have paid $18 to get a full service wash. I also had to use the vacuum to clean the inside. To my it will be worth $3 to have the full service. So if you are a DIY person, maybe it is good for you. Otherwise, I won't recommend this car wash. read more

Ok... I just met with the manager at Waterdrops. Apparently, Sammy at corporate told him that they will not be covering the damage to my front rim. We went over their video of the incident together. It's clear that SOMETHING had gone wrong. I stopped, called over the employee to tell him that my rim just got guard. I heard metal grinding. It's all on video!!! I asked the manager " What other reason would I stop and call over the guy guiding me in?" It seems simple and clear to me that I had stopped because I HEARD the grinding of my rim. Anyway, they refuse to pay for my rim to be fixed. So I'm off to small claims court to file suit. I will sue them MORE out of principal and poor ownership than the money it will cost to fix the rim. I came here to quickly wash my van. I always pay for the $18 wash. I always go to the location on Gonzalez but today I was on this side of town so I decided to wash my van here. After the wash I vacuum my van I noticed that my tires weren't shiny at all and that the back of the van wasn't even as wet! You can still see the dry dirt on the back window. I've had the monthly subscription since they opened. I've mentioned some issues, no tire shine, final drying brush not rotating, car jumps hard when cycle finishes, hard bang on undercarriage. Mgr blows off. "I ran my car thru and it's fine." Cancelling after a piece of undercarriage broke off. Right front plastic bumper stabilizer, right where the track attaches and pulls the car. It's minor, about $50 to fix. They won't fix because they are not responsible per terms and conditions. I really wanted to like them, so convenient. But I can't have the place breaking my car and not giving me what I paid for. read more

My rear windshield wiper was broken by a brush. The process for replacing the wiper wasn't explained. I serviced my car the next day and had it replaced for $100. Although I wanted the full amount I was willing to settle for half. Expected a call back yesterday from the manager but he never called. I called today to cancel my membership and found out they had already canceled it. So instead of paying $50, they'd rather lose years of $29.99 a month. read more

This location the FEMALES NEVER pre-scrub and the females are rude and have an attitude. The only people who like their jobs here are the guys. Or the females just have some kind of complex towards other females?? Go away.. I'm Not here for competition I'm here for you to scrub my grill that your getting paid to scrub. This location all of a sudden doesn't want to put the roller brush down... I have been using this location and the Gonzales locations for a couple years. Never have had issues with the roller... This one on 5th, I use more frequent now, and it's ALWAYS attitude. When I first started using this location a while back, they were friendly. I worked across the street and came every day. I ask why they won't put the roller down NOW, they said it can damage my roof racks which I have told them, it's okay, I take full responsibility of them, and I've never had an issue as long as I am okay with that. I hope they have cameras so they can review them, so they see how crappy their employees are... There is a guy here who WILL put the rollers down. If he's not there, they won't. I just had a major spine surgery and I can not get out and reach my windows and dry them. So when I leave, my windows are still spotted and water rolling down. The whole reason I get a wash is so while I'm driving I can see clearly out of my windows. I have asked them to pre-scrub my truck grill, and when I asked I was huffed at and smirked at.... Like omg you are being asked to do something your getting paid for... I am so sorry for the hassle.... Probably going to be driving out of my way to the Gonzales location if this one doesn't get their attitude's adjusted... Management needs to talk to employees about PRETENDING to like their jobs even if they don't.. What is with these young people? They have no work ethic. They just want to stand their on their phone in the booth and when a customer needs their grill scrubbed it's a hassle because we are interrupting their tick tock or what??? Why does the pre-soak solution only get applied to the driver's side of my car? The passenger side is usually the dirtier side.

I'm a WaterDrops member and have been for years. I used to go to the location over by the Popeyes in Oxnard for over a year but this one recently opened by my house and its also on my way to/from work, so its my new go to spot. Nothing wrong with the old location but this new one is simply a service & equipment upgrade over the old location! A+ excellent wash, nice location, clean machines and area. If its near you, this has to be the place you go. DETAILS: The new water drops location is on the corner of Victoria and 5th ST basically, next to the El Pollo Loco and AM/PM. I've been going there since they had their soft opening a few weeks ago and been seeing some good results on my ride. The location is and feels much more open and safer than basically ANY other carwash in Oxnard. I know some people bag on automatic carwashes but I take my QX80 Limited thru without issue (fullsize SUV) or concern for the paint. Its not a Bentley or a Bugatti, just a Nissan with a fancy interior, so its all good. Now, does this mean I hate the car and trash the paint, far from...but for a drive-thru wash, this is as good as it gets. Location is very easy to get in and out of as far as traffic and there are a few turnabouts to get in and out of the carwash location. I've gone 4 times now to the new location and will keep going back. Ive seen this guy named Ali everytime, very friendly, training staff and giving them tips/pointers, he has come over a few times to see how I liked the wash, nice guy. I had my camera with me one of the days so I decided to take a few pictures for the review - I wasn't paid, gifted or promised anything, as if my time was even worth it...I just had a tad too much time and coffee on my hands so I asked Ali if I could take a few pics and I walked around a bit. The wash equipment is all brand new so no complaints on it, it actually is a longer cleaning bay than any other bay in town so they have plenty of cleaners, sprayers, scrubbers, side-to-sides, up-to-downers, air suckers, air pushers, vents and rolling mops. The vacuum and drying area is clean, over 20 LARGE stalls, nice bright and airy feeling, its a good layout and design for a wash, doesn't feel soo cramped like the one on Gonzales as far as getting in and out of traffic to get into the wash. I mention large because when I open the doors on the QX it feels like I can hit people across town with them so I have to be careful and slide out of the SUV often. No stall access/parking issues and the machines are new, so they all work. They have suckers, blowers and trashcans. They also have restrooms in case you need to blow out your backside...I didn't try the restrooms so maybe someone else can fill me in on those. There is a vending machine for the towels if needed. I have always loved the pressure air for cleaning out the inside of the ride, most people use them for cleaning out water from the outside but use it inside, in the dash, under the seats. A wash is only as good as the after care you put into the wash - As many of you, I carry my own little caddy with cleaners/sprays and towels. Don't just drive-thru and speed off into town, no wash will ever be clean and spotless if you do that, don't be the human with all the streaks on the ride but paid for a wash. I usually use the drive-thru a few times a month and the other times I pay a guy that comes to my work for the interior detail services. I pay the member fee and simply wash as often as needed, wash it once a month and you're almost breaking even, go twice and you're ahead of the game. Anyways, stellar location for me, excellent wash, clean/new machines and nice spacious & safe area. If its near you, this has to be the place you go. read more

I love these car washes the wash system cleans your car well. I love that they have vacuums and air hoses to get the water out of the crevices of your car. I had a very nice guy who waited on me, his name was Joesph. I paid and went around the corner, missing the entrance to the car wash. Joesph came running after me to tell me where to go, I thought that was so nice. I tried to tip him when he was washing the front of my car, but he said no keep your money. WOW!
