The slides were a lot of fun, and the splash areas kept everyone entertained for hours. My only disappointment was the lazy river. I was expecting to relax and float, but there weren't any tubes allowed, so everyone was just walking through it. It kind of took away from the whole "lazy river" experience. Overall, it's still a great place to spend a summer afternoon with the family. If they added floats to the lazy river, it would easily be a five-star experience!

There are many splendid descriptions here of this entire establishment. This review covers the…read moreindoor aquatic center. WG Aquatic is best of the ATL aquatic center options we've experienced through the past decade. Two pool areas, including competition swim/dive areas, allow for team competitions and practices. Space abounds for personal workouts and lessons as well. While you're here for water sport, take a deep breath (above water) and notice the fresh air! WG Aquatic has figured out we mostly prefer oxygen to chlorine, and their fresh air system (not the official name) works. Spacious shower/changing rooms and roomy pool decks allow you some elbow room, and the upper-deck stands give spectators a great vantage point to see their favorite swimmer shave a second off that PR. The secondary pool area is a little warmer and gives space for personal workouts while the main lanes are hosting team practices. And regardless you'll have year-round swim options here. If we didn't live in the hinterlands across the city, we'd enjoy frequenting for water adventures.

The staff was so welcoming and wonderful. I did not see any staff looking at a phone at all. I've been twice for close to 4 hours each time. The guards watched that pool like their lives depended on it. An adult male was struggling in the deep end at one point and the guards were both in the pool assisting him out before I even knew what was going on. Great job guys. Keep up the awesome work y'all are doing. I feel completely confident allowing my kids to swim here now. Fantastic experience from beginning to end. And it's very clean.

Today was my first visit. I had two mom friends there with a group of 4 total littles, 3 of them only 2ish. We mainly kept to ourselves in a corner by the splash pad. Social distancing, you know. So there was these damn cones. They separated chairs in another social distancing effort. Okay, I get it. But my 15 month old starts playing with the cone. I tell him no, he is redirected to the pool.. but he's a literal baby. At some point he picks up a cone and another two year old picks up a cone and they're moved around a bit, but as I'm redirecting kids the lifeguard comes down and wants to have an attitude about the kids and the cones. Well first off, I'm impressed you noticed anything since you've been staring at your phone the entire time and probably wouldn't catch anyone in distress in the water, but let's come have an attitude about a few babies and some cones. Yea, we get why they're there, but these kids are literal babies. If she wasn't enough, then a 2nd person working at the pool comes over yapping about the cones.. nobody else had touched a cone.. he wanted to explain the purpose of the cones.. WE FREAKING GET IT BUT OUR GROUP OF LITERAL BABIES DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE FIRST, SECOND, SOMETIMES THIRD TIME! You'd think the toddlers would be the ones having meltdowns, but nah, we've got a few full grown adults getting emotional over some kids acting like kids. Moving an orange cone a few feet. Hysteria. Such horrible little heathens we have. Anyway. The pool is nice. The guy who checked us in was friendly. The life guard played on her phone the whole time until she switched with one who halfway paid attention, so watch your kids.. and beware of any orange cones. Serious business, y'all.

Dynamo swimming complex is just around the corner from my office and offers a wonderful swimming facility to swim at. Hours - I have to say that usually swimming pools have no available open swim hours so they are never convenient to use. No Dynamo. They are usually open for any type of drop in 1030-3pm (330 on some days). That is a ton of time! Facility - is huge! There is a smaller indoor lessons pool (88 degrees) and an indoor competition pool (79-80 degrees) that are always open during open swim. There is also a 50-m long course pool on site that opens seasonally I believe. There are multiple locker rooms with lots of showers and lockers. I think it is a wonderful spot. Cleanliness - The pool is always clean without ever a weird taste of chemicals. The locker rooms are always clean and never cluttered with stray clothes or baskets. Speaking of baskets, I love that they offer baskets for you to place your stuff in. Makes it very accommodating to get in and out of the locker room faster! Misc - There are available pull buoys and kick boards for your to use. There are never a lot of people in the pool when I come at lunch. I have never had to share a lane - once I had the entire competition pool to myself for a whole hour! Staff is always friendly. For a pool facility, I don't know what else you are looking for!

I immediately reported the incident to management and was told that several other female parents were familiar with this individual and that previous complaints had been filed. Staff assured me they would investigate the matter and address his threatening behavior. In the days that followed, while our children continued practicing four to six days per week, I observed the same parent continuing to negatively engage with other female parents at the facility with what appeared to be little or no consequence. Although the facility is modern and the coaching staff is skilled, I cannot recommend it based on my experience with its response to patron safety. A strong commitment to the safety and well-being of students, families, coaches, and volunteers should be a top priority, and I did not feel that this concern was handled appropriately.

Fun neighborhood with long swim lanes pool. Their pool is big and beautiful. They also have small diving boards which is great to experience. Great place to take our kids in the summer. The Embry Hills Club is great place to meet your neighbors and have a good time. If you are not member, you are missing out on one the best reasons to live in Embry Hills. The Embry Hills Club was established in 1958 when the neighborhood was first being developed. They offer swimming, tennis, Sand Volleyball and a variety of social activities throughout the year. Opens May through Labor Day. But if the weather permits they have open plays for Sand Volleyball. Usually they have plays after dark around 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Cost for the open play for Volleyball are just $5. They also do the league matches which cost around $55 which is very reasonable compare to other places. The two courts are fully lighted and bright. Plenty of chaise lounges, poolside tables, two sun decks, and a clubhouse for parties. Youth swim team available for children ages 5 and up. The Embry Hills Club has a long connection with ALTA tennis. They have two lighted, recently resurfaced hard  courts. They offer ALTA women's and mixed doubles teams. Overall a nice sports club. Plenty of free parking available in front of the courts.

Here's why we don't recommend Sweetwater Pools... Inexperienced technicians - unable to answer the most basic maintenance questions. Disrespectful to property - the technicians would disassemble our pool skimmer, using the pole to mix their chemicals (that's fine!), but then not put it back together. We repeatedly asked them to put it back the way they found it to no avail. It felt lazy and disrespectful. Zero communication - really hard to get anyone to call you back to address concerns or questions. To sum it up, we never felt like Sweetwater Pools valued our business or ever tried to salvage it. You have been forewarned.

Not one word of sincerity or offers to help get to the bottom of the situation, I told them to cancel my NEW account, and was told "ok, have a nice day". out XXX.xx for 5 chlorine tablets and some bottle of chemical!!

That said, its definently showing its age as machines are needing some TLC (broken seats, oil/grease is needed on some moving parts etc.), several lights are out, instances of black mold growing in the ceiling tiles on the 2nd level, no dedicated stretching zone like other gyms and small locker rooms. My biggest gripe is the wifi. Its abysmally slow and half the time if you're trying to stream Apple music, just forget it. At the main wifi acceptance page you can see that the copyright is 2018.
