Stone Arch Landscapes and Alex completed a project for me in 2022, and within a couple of months…read morethe retaining wall started leaning, and the pavers dropped along the wall. This wall is now out of plumb by 3-1/2" over a 4'-0" area, so out of plumb by almost 1 inch per foot. The pavers have large 1/2" plus gaps in this area, and there is concern that this wall is going to fail, and will fall. Alex has been notified numerous times each year about this issue, and he has refused to respond or answer my calls, texts or emails, he is ignoring the problem. When looking back, Alex failed to acquire a permit or to notify the city, which is required with any wall that is over 4'-0" in height, and he did not complete an engineering review which is also a requirement for walls of this height. Because of the lack of response from Alex and his refusal to warrant his work, I am forced to get quotes to repair and will need to pursue legal means to resolve the issue. Beware.

What is most impressive is that they took our pre-stained floors, that you could feel every grove and sand them down so there were no noticeable groves. You could tell he not only wanted the best floors for his customers, but he wants it for himself as well. He was kind and polite, and very respectful of our home. Highly, highly recommend!!!

We have a large family and, in planning for the future, really needed to convert this area into living space that would be usable for years to come. We reached out to Legacy Homes and they came immediately to give us a quote for the work. The quote was reasonable when compared to other quotes we received from other contractors and they were able to begin immediately with the renovation. There were some real challenges that came with this project as a result of the water level in our surrounding ground and the way the sewer lines were connected to the city sewer but they met each challenge with solutions that were practical and affordable. The project was completed in less than 4 months. We are extremely happy with the renovation! Legacy was committed to giving us the best outcome and was there during the entire remodel to ensure the work was done to meet code and at a quality that made our basement just what we needed and had hoped for. It is beautiful and we couldn't be more happy. If you are looking at a remodel, Legacy Homes would be my first recommendation!

Mark wanted to make sure everything was done the way we wanted, all the way down to the small details of where a light switch on a wall would be, and exactly where a towel bar was hung. Not only is our basement beautiful but it was finished ahead of schedule. We would gladly use Legacy Homes on a future project.
