This mall has a lot of empty store or stores with not a lot of merchandise. We still found what we needed. You can tell that the mall is trying its best to stay relevant in the at home shopping age. We also enjoy coming here in the winter as a place for the kids to let out some energy when it's cold out.

I recently took my kids to the free indoor play area with the glice to slide on with socks, many toys to play with and Santa's sleigh. My husband and I visited from Pittsburgh, and we stayed in the Hyatt Place hotel for two nights. During the days, we walked along the sidewalks to the stores and restaurants. I noticed that employees in some stores did not speak to me at all, but employees in other stores did greet me and make conversation. I especially enjoyed shopping in the Eddie Bauer and the World Market. My husband and I ate meals at several restaurants, including Another Broken Egg, Blue Sushi Sake Grill, Graeter's Ice Cream, Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, Pacific East, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Texas de Brazil, and Tropical Smoothie Cafe. There is an AMC movie theatre here too although it is not actually part of Westgate since it is in a separate strip mall directly west of Westgate. I do wish there were more stores here but who am I kidding? I don't shop that much these days so this mall provides the basics....lol. If you are looking for more stores and/or top designers then head over to the Crocker Park mall or Beachwood mall.
