He explained the cost if he had to come out and replace it and even said he would come out after his daughter graduation, but wanted to walk me through some steps to see if that was actually needed. Finally called her she said they were there at 215 and they left because the pump was stuck in the mud and it was too late to continue, I was there until 3 and no on showed up. I waited in a empty house as it is for sale. How did they get in I have a gate that needs a code and how did they find the well it is in the woods? They were never there. She said nothing. I rescheduled for a Wednesday at 7.30. I was called at 7.15 the Tuesday before said she was calling to confirm the appointment Tuesday morning and did I have the area cleared of debris or weeds, I told her the appointment was for tomorrow not today and that I told her there was poison oak and could they wear rubber boots she said ok, she did not remember that, so I said I could clear everything in 3 hours ok we will be there between 1 and 2 o clock. the guys showed up with a generator and I told them there is no way they could get that huge thing down to the well, they assumed that they were going to use the pump equipment at the well which has not worked in 40 years, they were upset that they were not told that and were very apologetic. they said the owner was going to find a 120 generator and would call me, three days later I called them after 6 attempts she said she would call the owner to find out about the generator. waited 3 days for a call and gave up. Not once did I get a return call or apology except from the workers. I hired another company and it worked out great

I really appreciated them being up-front with the rate information and letting me choose which option would work best for us. The plumber who came to do the repair did the job quickly and efficiently, so I felt that we got a fair price for the work that was done. I will always use East Bay Pump as our repair company in the future and highly recommend them to anyone who needs a pump serviced.

Zero communication after initial contact…read more I called Chase Rooter to confirm they service my area and detailed the work needed: fixing a water leak and pipe connection, along with a few minor non-urgent additions (replacing spigots and adding a pressure regulator to the house). I was told to text photos of the project areas for a quote, which I did immediately. Though the messages were read, I never received a response or estimate. I followed up three times--three hours later, the next morning, and again later that day simply asking for a courtesy update if they weren't interested in taking on the job--and received zero reply. If a job is too small or your schedule is full, a simple "we're unable to take this on right now" goes a long way. Ghosting potential clients and screening calls is unprofessional and a huge waste of time.

My review is more so regarding the overall experience of 2 different scenarios with the company. Me and my family have been a client for years. Service Pros was my go to company of choice and I had an excellent experience with Juan. However, my experience after was not one I would like to experience again. 1) The plumber that came prior to March on 10/14 asked if I was the homeowner (I would think after being a client for many years, this was not a question. 2) I was quoted a "what I feel like" was a very high price for install of a new toilet and replacement (faucet) in my upstairs bathroom. First quote was 1,700 and then he later said the job could be done for 1189.00. I declined to go with replacement of the faucet and said I would just get a new toilet myself for install. 3) I called to ask for a quote to install my new toilet and was told it would be 689.00 4) When Marc arrived (very kind and professional), he had a new toilet with him which leads me to believe that the 689 was inclusive of the new toilet he brought with him. 5) When I asked if the cost to install the toilet I purchased from Lowes would still be 689.00 he said yes. 6) I called the office to ask and stated the price should not be the same as it clearly included a new toilet that I did not purchase. I purchased my own from Lowes. 7) The lady said she would have the plumber call the supervisor to ask what was the cost just for labor. 8) After the work was done, I asked what was the cost for labor and I was told since I had a premium toilet the install would be $589 for installation. :-( Only 100 bucks off the initial costs which tells me that the toilet bought by service pros was only 100 or less than or they were making up numbers. I still never got the cost for just labor. I recently retired from Corp America after 26 years and do not have the funds to waste or to be overcharged, especially being I have been a customer for years. I will no longer be a customer of Service Pros. My suggestions is, if you do use them - ask for Juan!
