You have to catch rainwater or find some just to flush your toilet. Until you're without it you really don't truly appreciate it! When I called Ben & Dennis at Top Hat Well Drilling my pump would not work on its own and I had to keep trying to figure it out myself, right away they said they would come test everything. I thought for sure it was a certain pressure gauge and switch, and I asked them to change all that out ....well, they worked very hard that day and changed everything. I still had an issue so they came right back the next day. I thought I'd have to go the entire weekend without water, but they tested it and found out the control box had issues and Ben had the parts they needed. Ben did a superb job spending a lot of time and explaining things. I also had him test the water to make sure there was no bacteria or worse for an extra fee at a lab. So thrilled that everything is working fine again! Water is life and boy do I appreciate my awesome well now that everything is running smooth! If you ever run out of water, low pressure, nothings working, or even just to have it checked out, possibly a deeper well than you have, make sure to call Terrier Pump and Water Quality! About 4 years ago Tanko installed a new submersible pump for us using one that was over-sized for the output, they married brass fittings with galvanized fittings and did not run a ground wire (required since 1991). First, the owner Mike is not only extremely knowledgeable (30+ years in the business), but he is gracious, kind and patient. He answered all of our questions and provided a very nice solution to our low producing well at a price I thought would have been at least $2000-$3000 more. The solution was a 2500-gallon water tank positioned where we wanted it, out of the general view when driving in to our property and moved the over-sized pump to the tank and put the correct pump in the well. Another thing was that he was there helping set the tank and was periodically checking on the job and encouraging his team throughout the process. His team, Clayton and Steve, were terrific. They definitely knew what they were doing and went about the installation very methodically, wasting no time. Their demeanor was very, very pleasant, read professional, and were willing to answer any questions I had (I'm quite curious about stuff). They did not fumble about like some others we have experienced. We were impressed by the design of the installation, it was very neat and tight, taking only the space necessary. Icing on the cake was that they used all stainless fittings where metal was required otherwise they used schedule 80 pvc. None of that galvanized stuff for them. Yes, we would highly recommend them to all.

I called requesting someone come out and check the water level in my well. The appointment was…read moremade, then postponed by a day, and then on that day I got a call saying my well was fine, quoting the water level and the gpm, so they didn't need to come out. I asked for some documentation backing up what I'd just been told and I was sent a report, made by Tanko, from 1998, for which they charged me $75. I wrote back saying that the report didn't assuage my concern about my water level as of today, and would still like it tested, and no one ever responded.

Our well stopped working Saturday ... nightmare . Called around . Most were too busy to come out …read more One company came out and looked at well without pulling up pump and said "it needs to come " out but couldn't do it .... We got ahold of Peters on Sunday and they came out first thing Monday . Nevada ( that's his name ! :) opened up the well house , tested everything and said yep let's pull that baby out .... What a haul ! Even called his boss Aaron who came right out to us to help pull it out . Once out , found out it Needed new wiring , new pump , the whole deal . Nevada had everything on hand on his truck and got us up and running with water within 3 hours . Super nice guy ! Very personable and told us everything about our well that we didn't know . 5 year warranty too . We will most definitely call them if we need any help ever again . And will tell all of our friends .

It was evident he really cared about service and treating his customers right--even ones he'd probably never see again.
