He is, without question, one of the best customer service representatives I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Steve is always friendly, professional, dependable, and genuinely kind. Every delivery is made with care, and he consistently goes above and beyond what anyone could reasonably expect. He always places my water as close to my front door as possible, carries it up the steps without hesitation, and has even helped bring the bottles inside when I've had difficulty carrying them. Those small acts of kindness make a huge difference and have never gone unnoticed. What stands out even more is how attentive he is. If I accidentally forget to leave my empty bottles outside, Steve has even taken the time to text me to make sure I wasn't in need of water before continuing on his route. That level of customer care is incredibly rare these days, and it speaks volumes about the type of employee and person he is. The reason I wanted to write this email is because I recently reported a leaking water bottle. My concern was simply to let the company know that some of the reusable bottles may be reaching the end of their lifespan after being reused many times. My concern was never about Steve. He simply delivered the bottle that was provided to him, and he did absolutely nothing wrong. I was genuinely saddened to hear that Steve may have been blamed or gotten into trouble because of my report. That was the exact opposite of what I intended. If anything, I wanted to bring attention to a product issue, not a personnel issue. Employees like Steve are hard to find. His professionalism, reliability, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile are the reasons customers like me remain loyal. I don't know if we were always last on their route, or if we were nearing the outskirts of their service area, but deliveries were never on consistent days. We'd get a text the afternoon before my delivery that he would be there tomorrow, and Kevin wouldn't arrive until 2-3 days after that text was sent. Communication was poor, if we received any at all. Lately things have gotten far worse. I have requested (multiple times) that our delivery be bi-weekly. After the second time I reminded him, Kevin came consistently for a couple deliveries but then it was getting to be more like an every 3 week schedule. Who knows when he was going to show up, honestly. There was a couple times that I had to text and ask when he was coming, and magically it was always the very next day. We were always understanding when he needed to move delivery dates, and even when I had to follow up about when he was coming I was never rude. I finally just reached my limit and we will be seeking services elsewhere. I'll pay the extra couple bucks a month for consistency. I am also a little confused and concerned about some of the responses (one in particular which I will attach a screenshot of) below from Rueben.
