I'm not gonna say they're the best quality, but I think it's perfect if you need to quickly furnish a place on a budget, ie - a college student needing a desk, chair, etc for a dorm or an apartment. I would say, try sitting on the stuff in store before you buy to test it's durable enough for your usage. You have to imagine that stuff this cheap is built as mail-order stuff for skinny Asians. The room is pretty big so thought there was going to be a lot of good stuff. Looking around the place it became quickly apparent that this stuff is really just overstock stuff. Sitting in the chairs and feeling the fabric of the furniture you can tell the quality is somewhat lower which is reflected in the prices. After walking around for a few minutes we decided to leave. The prices are good but the stuff just seems disposable. Like you just replace them every year. The kitchen section also has essentials that I'd totally buy if I didn't have them already. They currently carry a lot of Christmas products. Second, even though it has a dedicated lot, it can still be hard to find parking at all. Luckily, there is a limited amount of street parking available. Lastly, when you try to leave the parking lot, the street parking limits your visibility of the oncoming traffic, which moves very fast because it's a wide street. So it's quite dangerous. The store itself is just okay. Sometimes the shelves are not well stocked. It can have long lines occasionally, and they don't seem to open another cashier when that happens.

And there's a very large collection of pottery, including bowls, dishes and coffee mugs. This place is an excellent place to shop for those who are intrigued by foreign cultures. And the prices are extremely reasonable. And besides for being reasonable, you can find nice pieces in the under ten dollar range, well into the one hundred and fifty or more. The older asian lady in glasses is always super nice. She handles customers really well and I hope shes the manager because thanks to her this store is one of the well stocked stores I go to. I always opt out of self check-out because I buy a lot of items and sometimes I may overscan an item, so its always still helpful to have a cashier whos ready to scan for you and bag your items up. The birthday card selection is very limited at this Daiso. I didn't browse around for anything else. This location had one cashier on duty. They also had one self check-out machine, which had no line. I was in and out of Daiso within a few minutes. The parking lot had tight, but plenty of parking spots when I arrived. When I left the plaza, the parking lot was full, around 1:30PM on a Saturday. It's hard to beat a $1.50 card, unless you opt to make your own.

I'll admit, I was a little bummed because I had just missed out on their previous birthday freebie (a blind box up to $25!), but I still appreciated having a discount to use. Checkout is where things felt a little off. After giving my phone number for rewards, I asked if I could use my birthday coupon. The cashier asked, "Which one?" which confused me since I thought there was only one available promo at the moment. She then asked to see the barcode, and while I pulled it up pretty quickly, she started helping another customer and asked me to step aside. I didn't mind doing that at all, but it did leave me standing there ready to go for a minute. Once she saw I was set, she helped me at another register and finished the transaction without any issues. Overall, I wouldn't say the service was bad just a little awkward in that moment.
