I called this place when they opened at nine, and I was able to confirm that they do this service. I went on my lunch break and he was just as friendly as he was over the phone. The area is a little sketchy but there is plenty of parking. The shop is actually located in a center with a grocery store. He was able to fix it in less than 60 seconds and you really can't beat a price of five dollars cash. The dealership costs way more. I came in yesterday to get battery replacements for my watches, as well as band replacements for two of them. The man (I'm guessing, Steve, according to the info here) who was running the shop was very polite and cordial; asked if I needed battery replacements and showed me different options for watch bands. I didn't have any shopping to do, so I stuck around and noticed about 3-4 different customers come in for battery replacements as well. I almost felt bad that I had multiple watches for him to work on when the customers after me only had 1 or 2. Regardless of who came in and out of the store, Steve was quick with his service, had the other customers taken care of in between my work, and I even got a chuckle from a passerby who made such a corny joke. Steve, I know you hear the same jokes on a regular basis, but I hope you know you are a gem in this city!!
