What a great little shop! and busy I stopped in while running errands in the shopping center attached to the international market to find a line - NO SURPRISE! This is one confident watch repair shop and owner!! I was running close for a virtual doctor appointment so Tony said leave your watch. When I came back not only was my watch battery installed he chose a perfect new strap for me making the visit so EASY for me. This was so appreciated if he let me look at choices trust I would still be there! (How did he know this?) Don't hesitate to go to Tony for your watch repairs he appears to know most customers by name and he's a new friend of mine. Thank you Tony!! read more

Brought in my newly purchased watch which was running too fast. In around 20-30 min Steve found the issue and was able to fix it. He seemed very nice, knowledgeable and trust worthy. He charged me for a fair price esp since I wanted to avoid shipping the watch back to where I purchased it. I'll be monitoring my watch but I think I trust him enough to recommend him. I think I found my go to guy. Thanks Steve! read more

This place is wonderful, I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I love my watch and he took very good care in handling my watch.

Steve is great! Gave me an accurate quote over yelp and when I dropped off my watch..he was able to replace the batteries quick (10mins) , even when it was a busy time that I came in,he was able to squeeze me in.. Would be back again! Great service and pricing! read more

Steve is amazing. I have a high end "clone" omega aqua terra that arrived dead on arrival from China. After following the directions of the distributor with no success - I thought I was destined to have to send the watch to a specific type of watchsmith in NY for oversees- which would have taken a lot of time and money. Then I found Steve. He gladly took a look - opened the watch up and within minutes, he was able to diagnose and fix the issue (manufacturer didn't lubricate properly and in Laymans terms -"the wheels were jammed". ). He then adjusted and then gave me a lesson in how to operate the CO-Aixel watch. Steve was so kind and professional. When I tried to give him a tip - he actually would only take a portion of what I offered. His services and skills are exemplary. His pricing is way MORE than fair. If he moved to San Diego(he's not) - I would happily make the drive there to have Steve work on my watches. Thank you Steve read more

I have been there twice. First time I randomly decided to go to this place for replacing batteries on two of my watches. I walked in the owner looked at me and said "Batteries?" Like he read my mind. I was out of there in few minutes. I was stunned with the speed and the efficiency of the service. I have owned a lot of watches in my life time from Vacheron, Rolex, Omega to Seiko and many other brands that I needed service and or battery. Every time I have gone to any watch repair shop they either charge a lot of money or they make a big deal out of even replacing a simple battery! The second time I went there I needed to adjust the links on my new watch and on an old classic watch and to replace the battery on another watch. I was stunned again! He did it in just 10 minutes and charged me a very reasonable amount. This place is amazing. He is the third generation watch maker/repair expert. It shows from the level of professionalism, quality and efficiency he offers to the customers. I just hope he stays in business and doesn't sell the place to someone else to ruin it. I will be going back to him for all my watch services. It is a good feeling to find a place that offers such a great service. It is very rare these days. read more

Brought a replica Hublot watch at thrift store and the dials fell off the face and the battery was dead so I wasn't sure if it would work. I brought it to this shop and the owner Steven said he will put the dials on and see if the battery would work and if not I would cut my lose. Luckily, after he fixed all the issues with the watch it worked properly again! He charged me $30 for the repair and I'm very happy with my replica watch, thank you Steve!! read more

Huge Shoutout to Steve! He got me in and out within seconds! Went in for a new watch adjustment and Steve took Customer Service Satisfaction to the next level! Fast, easy and friendly. Steve came across as honest and knowledgeable. I brought in my Tag watch for its 3rd battery change. I've taken to a mall jewelry store in the past, but they are no longer there. I used searched reviews to pick this place. I was delighted the first time that I brought in my wife's Tag watch to have the battery replaced a few months later. read more

Fixed my Omega watch in minutes. Knowledgeable. Fair. Friendly. Exceeded every expectation!

I've always dreaded the time I have to take my watches to a watch repair shop. But not this time. After reading the reviews here and in Google, I decided to bring my Benarus bronze watch to Steve. I explained to him the crown of the watch has loose thread. That I brought the replacement part which I ordered straight from Benarus. He glanced at the watch and the part and told me he will work on it right away. We agreed on the price. The price was a lot less than what was quoted to me by another shop. Yes I had to drive 8 miles one way to Watch The Time. It was raining then. I don't care and it didn't matter. Steve fixed my watch in just a few minutes. That's while fixing other watches from customers that walked in. Battery replacements, strap adjustments, watch pick ups. He is such a great guy to chat with. Knows very well his craft. To find the shop, park at the back of the grocery building. His shop is one of the many inside the building. Thank you Steve! read more

Took my 2 vintage 1980s-1990s Tag Heuer watches into Watch the Time today to see if Steve could put new batteries in and check them both. Great and fast service. Nice owner with a good collection of watches. Plan to go back for all watch needs.

What a great experience. Needed a new battery in my watch. The entire repair took less than 5 minutes and was only $8. Super friendly service! read more

After two years of being a loyal customer, Steve decided to gouge me. I made the mistake of trusting him and when I had a problem with a high end watch, I didn't shop around as I usually do. Big mistake he proceeded to show his real character not the smiling face that he shows to customers. I paid the inflated price but I will never give him another cent he lost my trust. He did attempt to give me a "discount" but it just verified that he was overcharging me. I own over forty watches and will simply find someone who is genuinely HONEST. Be careful and always shop around and get several estimates, unless you just need a battery for a cheap watch. read more

I was in a panic this morning because my battery in my key fob was dying, and I wasn't able to open my door to go to work. I called this place when they opened at nine, and I was able to confirm that they do this service. I went on my lunch break and he was just as friendly as he was over the phone. The area is a little sketchy but there is plenty of parking. The shop is actually located in a center with a grocery store. He was able to fix it in less than 60 seconds and you really can't beat a price of five dollars cash. The dealership costs way more. I'll be sure to come here in the future for the service and to replace all my watch batteries! I highly recommend. read more

My husband had 4 watches (2 Nixon and 2 Renato) that needed new batteries. We had gone to the mall prior for battery replacement and they charged us $40 for each. I decided to to yelp a watch repair shop and found Watch the time. We dropped the watches off at 9:30 and returned after toddler swim class & breakfast to smooth running watches and paid that amount for all 4 watches. Steve was kind and helpful so 5 stars for great work and customer service. We will be back. *Note- if you park in the back behind Valley produce, you will find a mini shopping center where you see Watch the Time. read more

Steve provided exceptional customer service and is a true master of his craft. Very satisfied!

This place is highly rated for a reason! I was so bummed when my watch that my wife gave me for our wedding stopped working. I dropped by yesterday with a large Howard Elliott clock that I acquired at auction. It turned out the thing had been used for parts! Steve, the business owner opened up the casing and showed that many gears were missing and some damaged. He literally rebuilt the gear assembly in front of me with new parts he had on hand in less than 15 minutes. Amazing service, amazing prices! Meticulous and speedy. Steve made a new loyal customer out of me yesterday, because now this is pretty much the only place I'll go to now for new clock repairs, watch straps, and service for my automatic watches. read more

I came in yesterday to get battery replacements for my watches, as well as band replacements for two of them. The man (I'm guessing, Steve, according to the info here) who was running the shop was very polite and cordial; asked if I needed battery replacements and showed me different options for watch bands. I didn't have any shopping to do, so I stuck around and noticed about 3-4 different customers come in for battery replacements as well. I almost felt bad that I had multiple watches for him to work on when the customers after me only had 1 or 2. Regardless of who came in and out of the store, Steve was quick with his service, had the other customers taken care of in between my work, and I even got a chuckle from a passerby who made such a corny joke. Steve, I know you hear the same jokes on a regular basis, but I hope you know you are a gem in this city!! You took care of my watches, even gave me feedback on a specific watch that needed some cleaning, and I am loving the new bands on my watches. His prices are fair, and if you have to ask questions, he seems well equipped to answer anything related to his craft. If you want to support your community, support this business!! Looks like I found my new go-to place to take care of my analog watch collection. read more

I have a Seilko watch with a kinetic battery. Steve gave it a shake and set the time, sent me on my way. He told me if it continues to stop working I may need a new battery ( around $40.00). He had every opportunity to just sell me the battery and move on, my "problem" would have been "solved" and I would be happy. Instead, he did the honorable thing and gave me great advice. This is the only kind of person any of should be doing business with. I would highly recommend them to anyone!! read more

I brought in my grandfathers watch. I previously brought it to a place in studio city, that said it was broken and they would fix it then they sent it to another watch place downtown to fix it. I went to this location based on the positive reviews and I can honestly say that the place far exceeded my expectations. I needed batteries changed on two watches and they took care of it fast, professionally, and extremely affordable. The part I was most impressed by was I needed minor trouble shooting which he did for free. As if this wasn't enough I thought I needed a new band for one of my watches. When he looked at it, instead of trying to sell me a new band he immediately fixed it. He didn't try and up sell me. He didn't try and get more money out of me for additional services. He was honest, friendly, and provided me the best service from any vendor I've dealt with in any service based industry. I will bring any and all my business here going forward WooHoo As GREAT as it gets! read more
