I have a Tag Heuer watch that I unfortunately left the crown open and it caused the watch to flood. I took the watch to a watch repair man near me but he didn't want to touch it. He said I'd have to send it in to have it repaired at the factory. I live in Ventura, so driving to Reseda is a bit of a haul, but I have family that go to Watch the Time and won't go anywhere else because of how good Steve is. I decided that it was worth it to me to make the drive. My watch was given to me years ago by my father so the watch has sentimental value to me. Steve was great - he said he specializes in repairing and rebuilding high end watches. He took it apart quickly, analyzed the damage and said he'd have it ready in a couple days. When I picked it up the watch that was heavily corroded and rusted inside due to the water looked like new. Steve does an amazing job. His talent is incredible. Visited the shop to get my watch band replaced, specifically Brown leather. I have a Victorinox Swiss, size 20mm. There was about 6-7 different options. One might say that isn't a ton of selection, but the ones he had are all pretty decent. Ended up getting a brown calf leather band, which cost $20 plus tax. The original band would have cost around $150, so I'm more than happy this shop had something that was good enough. Service was fast and friendly. Always good practice to call ahead to confirm!
