I always think of this as a really British store for some reason, i know boots and the like are…read moreBritish too but they never make me think that way. Maybe its cause there isn't many of these around, and it's a pity because I really like it! My favourite thing about this shop is the fact that it does lots and lots of miniature everything! Now i like anything that is smaller than normal or just little but this is great for going on holidays! And yes okay Boots do this too but the way it's laid out in this store is perfect it's not squashed into a small bottom shelf in some corner it's laid out in its own section with proper sections for each thing. I sound like some kind of a neat freak here! The other product they do that is sometimes hard to find is Barry M, yes it's a cheapy make up brand that i never use for most of their stuff but have you tried their nail varnishes? They have every colour! Not just shades of red and pink, everything!! And it lasts fairly long too which is a big thing for me, you'd think I sat picking at my nails with a chisel the way they end up looking after an hour sometimes! So there you go Superdrug for Barry M Nail Varnishes.

I love superdrug in the UK but there isn't many of them in Dublin and this is the only one in…read moreDublin I've been to. This one is well stocked but kinda messy and always packed so there's alot of squeezing past and bumping into people which I hate. It's like a lesser Boots, the products are cheaper, both in the good and bad way! A couple if times I've been in here and felt like the security guard was watching to see if I was shop lifting (which I wasn't by the way)! and since this is in the square which has 3 Boots Chemists I would b way more likely to go to boots then this superdrug.

I can't help but think of this shop as the place where good taste comes to die. Well maybe that…read moreisn't fair, as some of the jewelry is quite nice, and, of course, taste is completely subjective. This shop not only sells the range of jewelry and watches that you would expect from a inexpensive, high street jeweler but also houses a veritable menagerie of statues and figurines. Whether you want a statue that looks like it came from an Egyptian themed casino or one of those popular lladro-style figurines of children this is the place to come! At least, unlike a lot of shops selling items of dubious taste, they don't whack a hefty pricetag on it. These figurines are all very reasonably priced. OK I may scorn this particular style but I honestly can't think of anywhere else you would find a statue of a brachiosaurus for your living room. if that's your bag I won't knock it, but I may raise my eyebrow slightly!

Lots of jewellery gold and silver and diamonds and watches and everything else you would expect to…read morefind in a jewellery shop. Around this long shop there are long windows where you can window shop and look at all the lovely things that you can buy but I never really get to look at the jewellery in here and it's for one reason, or many reasons I suppose! All around the bottom shelf of these long windows are the most hideous statues of different things you have ever seen. Of course they are beautiful works of art for some people but to me, no, na ah! They look like something someone's unfashionable granny would have in her dusty sitting room. They are there staring out at you from their glass confines, all their eyes seem to be trained on you as you walk by, you might even consider them to be some kind of a security feature because they continue to stare at you if you try window shopping, making sure you don't break through the glass and grab something quickly. This is probably a very nice shop but I just can't get past those statues sorry Deborah Joy!
