When I was a kid, visiting my grandma, I was always so excited about her big, brown clock. Even more excited than about the milk and cookies I knew would be waiting for me in her kitchen.
In the memory, her clock was the biggest one in the whole wide world. The centrepiece of her livingroom, standing there all old and dignified. Tik-tak, tik-tak, that sound would make me stand still and silent for what seemed like hours.
I got the same feeling of excitement when I entered Timepiece on Patrick Street. It was like stepping back in time. The shop is jam-packed with antique clocks in all shapes and sizes. Beautiful wooden ones, just like my grandma's, as well as metal case clocks.
