Not that they shop here often mind, it's rather too posh for that, but it's the kind of place it is. A proper family jewellers, with father and daughters on staff and expert advice on hand. I went back for a replacement only to be told straightaway that I would need to pay for a new one. When I observed that surely I was entitled to some sort of warranty, the gentleman helping me left me standing there and went inside for what seemed to me to be an eternity. After a while, realising I was not going anywhere, he came back to ask me to leave the shop. I was rather surprised and passively submitted to his command. But after a while I decided to go back just to state I meant to create no trouble for him (not over 15 euro anyway) but thought that that was a very unfair way of dealing with customers.. I was then sarcastically ridiculed about my sense of fairness. So I just left him expressing what I thought about his sense of honesty. Very strange.

The sales lady had a very snobbbsh attitude and the manager was "too busy" to come out from the back when I tried to negotiate my case. Walked out without having ring resized as I didn't like their bad attitude.

The shop in Dundrum is jam-packed with beautiful eye-candy; gold, silver, rubies, pearls and diamonds, watches, rings, bracelets and necklaces from the top brands in the business (Cartier, Tissot, Rolex, Piaget, Baume & Mercier, Ebel, Chopard, Bvlgari, Fabergé etc). I cringe but now I understand!…read more Bought a reasonably expensive watch here for a birthday present and ended up bringing the watch in 4 times to fix the same problem, again and again and again. Twice it has been sent back to the manufacturer, which took in total 4 MONTHS. Every time the people on the shop floor, including one lady who was referred to as the repairs manager, provided absolutely NO information. Recently brought the watch in again and they were as unhelpful as ever. I shudder every time I see the shop and the only reason I go in is the watch is still under warranty (have had it for just under 2 years) and everywhere else is charging ridiculous amounts. Frustrating. Unhelpful. Completely useless wouldn't be an understatement. HATE this place.
