The shop was voted as one of Dublin's best in 2008 by The Dubliner magazine, and that's a praise well deserved. The clothes in here sure are adorable. Quality fabrics, soft and cuddly. And the shoes! I just love those gorgeous little leather boots, types you can picture on tiny feet running rings around their parents on the weekly stroll up Champs-Elysees, back in the old days. But as cute as these clothes are, you need to be pretty loaded to be able to dress up your young ones from top to toe in here. Looking for a pressie for a nice or nephew, and you want something more special than a shirt or dress from H&M, you will fall in love with not only one but many, many pieces. But it hurts to pay €59 for a jumper for a newborn when you know it will be way to small in two months. So, the rating. Milk & Cookies really deserves all the four stars it gets, even though I sadly can't afford to shop all my baby-presents here.

Lo and behold, I found out they're a part of the same company/brand. How cool!! Same great products, same great prices. They even had a fully operating hair and nail salon inside. I barely had any vacant space in my luggage, but I absolutely had to grab some good deals and exit quickly lol. The store is huge and the various sections are easy to browse. It was also easy to spot employees walking around if you needed to ask for help.

Baby clothes is but a mere fraction of what they sell here. And maybe the fashions aren't the hippest, but it's a god damn baby. It doesn't care what it's wearing so just slap a onesie with a monkey on it and move on to more important things like cribs, prams, breast pumps, car seats, soothers, high chairs, sterilizers, thermometers, literature and toys. I also love that this store is called Mothercare, not Babycare.

Yes, it's a good shop and it has everything expectant mothers or parents probably need, but I was disappointed with the cute factor. They do have lots and they even have some quite cool kid stuff but I was able to make my choice pretty quickly for my favourite ensemble which says "hello world" (aah!). One huge question, why does a maternity store have an upstairs but no lift!? A little bit crazy for a clientele who are pretty much sure to have buggies or at least a baby on board.

I bought a tank top from COS while on vacation in the south of France this past July, and after…read morewearing it once, it was permanently stained. Despite multiple washes and trying every stain-removal method possible, the marks will not come out. The top is now completely unwearable after a single use. When I contacted COS customer service, I was told there was "nothing they could do" because I'm no longer in France and I don't have the receipt. They insisted this was a store issue, not a company issue -- which makes no sense. This is clearly a quality problem with the garment, not a matter of location. I expected better from a brand that markets itself on quality and sustainability. Selling clothing that becomes disposable after one wear is the opposite of sustainable, and refusing to take responsibility only makes it worse. I would have been satisfied with a replacement, refund, or store credit, but COS refused to provide any resolution. Very disappointing experience, and I won't be shopping here again.

Its most-unique greenhouse architecture allows so much natural light to come through the glass roof. I absolutely loved the look of it. We took a stroll through all three floors. Having never been to the country, I was unfamiliar with most of the shops, but I took note of the few I recognized (Boots, TK Maxx, Claire's.) We were momentarily tempted to try the Chinese restaurant upstairs but thought better of it. Restrooms are also located on the uppermost level. Not super bustling, seemed to be going the way of most malls. And although I wasn't taken by any store in particular, I enjoyed the structure's design & seeing what a Dublin shopping centre has to offer.

When I first peered into the shop it was a bit small and looked slightly disorganised, which is what many charity shops look like. I was very surprised to find out that it was just a children's clothing store plain and simple. They say that they have clothes for kids aged 0-16, but I don't think you'll be getting many teenagers into clothes from here. However, if you're looking for something nice for a wee one this is a pretty decent option.
