I came here because I had a failed crown and the tooth was not able to support another crown. Dr…read morek and his staff were professional, knowledgeable and most of all personable. I had phase 1 of 2 part phase to get an implant. They removed the decayed tooth. So far this has been a good experience. They did the procedure and I had clear instructions on what to do. They prepare me for the worse case scenario but my recovery has been great. First day very little pain and I could have just used regular Tylenol. 2nd day no pain just a little sore. This was a better experience than the last time I had an extraction from an oral surgeon in Huntington Beach a few years ago. It took a week for the pain to subside. Which was a more expensive place. My only complaint was sometimes it was hard for me to get a hold of the office for the appointment. But once your on the line it was all smooth.

He almost seemed a little dismissive. I was breastfeeding at the time so I asked questions about the safety of the medicine prescribed and anesthesia while breastfeeding and he came off as very annoyed of my questions. The staff were great, both up front and when going to the back for the surgery. I got little to no after care instructions. They went through some of it with me at my consultation, before I even booked the surgery, then never again. I felt lost with the healing process. I even had to call and ask if my symptoms were normal.

My recent one with Dr. Anderson was a breeze - while a root canal isn't anyone's idea of fun, being able to watch a movie during the procedure made a real difference and kept me relaxed the whole time. I can't recommend this practice enough for root canals - the staff is excellent and clearly focused on patient care.

The office is clean, the staff is friendly and scheduling appointments was a breeze. I have to say that the endodontist who treated me is a magician with a needle because out of the array of dental visits I've had throughout my life, it was by far the most painless when it came to the numbing. Not only was the work great but the atmosphere in the office was as well. They gave me headphones and glasses to wear while a movie of my choosing played on a screen on the ceiling! A rubber dam was placed over my tooth so work could be performed without any debris falling into my mouth. The experience overall was amazing. I would come in and get a root canal redone every day.

Two of my filling's got dark spots on them within the first year and to redo them I have to come when "I'll be fixing my other teeth". Once I went into office with one treatment plan doctor (Asian looking younger one) during the treatment changed the plan and fixed the tooth that wasn't even in a chart and told me about it only after he was done! And made me sign the consent as I was leaving the office. I can't describe how violated I felt for a while. Doctor Papworth apologized for his colleague but it didn't make me feel better. I gave them a chance and came for cleaning, asked for insurance pre- approval for next treatment (because somehow my pretty good ppo insurance almost never covers it as promised). Waited. Never heard from them. Called. They made it sound like they've never heard about it although they offered. Requested it again. It's been at least a month still haven't heard from them... also last time I went for cleaning I felt like the doctor was very pushy into what should be my next treatment although I wanted to work on other problems. Also got referred to a place that did a terrible work on my root canal. I guess it's time for me to switch an office.
