I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I have basically a lifetime of severe dental anxiety. Had tons of procedures from mean old dentists of the 80's and 90's when I was a kid, and after moving a bunch of times as an adult I just couldn't bring myself to deal with new (potentially mean) dentists every time I moved. I told myself I'd DEFINITELY go to a dentist when a tooth fell out of my mouth or something similarly crazy. About a month ago I woke up with severe pain and sensitivity on the left side of my mouth and knew I had to nut up. I did all the research I could on the nicest, most gentle dental practice in the area and found Elevate Dental. Called them and let them know my predicament and also that I am a huge weenie when it comes to the dentist. They were super understanding, didn't shame me or make me feel guilty for all the years I hadn't taken care of my teeth, and they got me back on the right track. Everyone in that office is an angel from heaven. It turned out I needed a few of those old childhood fillings replaced, and they agreed I was a good candidate for oral sedation. I made the appointment two weeks out and didn't even sweat it at all. The procedure was yesterday and it was GREAT. Literally an entire lifetime of dental anxiety gone in one morning. I am so, so grateful to Dr. Kanter and the whole team for helping me get over this fear and helping me get my teeth back to healthy, and I honestly can't wait to come back. read more

Seriously the best dental office. Everyone is so kind, patient, and helpful. Doctor Andy Is absolutely incredible - he fixed a tooth ache I was having after another dentist failed to. He explains what he is doing as he does it which makes the process less intimidating and really interesting actually! He is very gentle and considerate. The dental assistants and hygienists are also super sweet, non judgmental, and gentle. Front office staff are incredibly helpful with scheduling and insurance claims (shout out to Hannah!). I am so surprised to read anything but the BEST reviews about Dr. Reza, Shelly (the hygienist), and all the lovely staff at this dental office. This is a wonderful dentist who I heartily recommend. I've been going here since I returned to S. CA three years ago. I go every 6 months for my regular cleanings and I am completely impressed with this office. They are always on time, and I leave with instructions, estimates, sometimes special dental tools, and lots of smiles and positivity. Shelly is hands-down the best hygienist I've ever encountered. I'm obsessed with dental health, and in fact I write print and marketing materials for dentists so I know a lot about options and what to expect. She is gentle but thorough. Shelly understands dental health and the connection to overall health and healthy eating. She is extremely well-informed. She works with you on a plan toward oral health, and yes, if you mess up (as I recently did) and miss a regular cleaning or fail to brush properly, she'll point it out and give you strategies to improve. I also have some phobias--I can be a little high-maintenance. Everyone there is so nice about it. Lisa at the front office is professional, patient and sweet--as I've called there numerous times about an appt. I have next week. Because it became clear I was slightly phobic, I will be given a gentle sedative prior to getting a couple of fillings next week. Dr. Reza is very gentle and thorough in his exams. Much more so than other dentists I've encountered. He explains procedures to you and is just a very nice man. I haven't had to deal with him too much in terms of dentistry, because I've never had issues until now. In closing, I've never felt like this office pushes anything on me. It would be nice if they ran a whitening promotion now and then, but they seem to keep it simple, get your teeth clean and your gums healthy and that is their focus. Our family has been going to Dr. Reza's office for over 15 years now. He has seen our kids grow up. I can say that all three have no dental problems from their childhood cleanings. They also let me join my kids so I can hear what they have to tell them (I.e. Need to floss more, brush better behind your front teeth, etc). We go every six months for our check ups. The hygienists are very sweet and knowledgeable. With every visit I strive to get all 2's on my gums. When I had to have a filling replaced years ago, the old fears of dental repairs came flooding back. You see, when I was a child I did not have the greatest dental hygiene and had so many problems. Well, Dr. Reza was so gentle that he helped calm my fears. I have since had other fillings replaced and a crown by him. Did I say we have no dental insurance? That is why I trust him. I have found the best Dentist in town! Dr. Reza and his team offer exemplary customer service. The front desk staff are always professional and friendly. They are flexible in scheduling appointments and working with your personal/insurance needs. They always return/respond to calls in a timely manner...and are patient with you and whatever your circumstance. Dr. Reza will even go out of his way to call and check on you himself every time after a dental visit with him! Dr. Reza himself and his team of hygienists are gentle and caring. They pay attention to any concerns and/or sensitivities that you may have. They offer you the best treatment options and are willing to work with you. They always receive me on time for my appointments and acknowledge any concerns I may have before and during the treatment. I consider myself a pretty positive person and don't like giving bad reviews, but what I have just found out really upset me. I decided to try out this dental office because I was not very happy at the previous practice I was going to. After 3 hours there, I was told I would need 5 fillings and a possible crown. I was very surprised by this because after my last checkup 8 months prior, I was sent off without any concerns. Some of the areas of concern were fillings that had been done less than 2 years ago. I did not see Dr. Reza, like I had expected when I made the appointment, but another dentist in the office, Dr. Mario. So after shedding a few tears that evening, I decided to get a second opinion in Orange County with the dentist I had grown up seeing. He looked at the x-Rays, took a couple more, did and examination, and found NOTHING wrong. I am floored! I can't believe that I could have gotten over a $1,000 of dental work done for no reason. Is it because I have insurance? My former dentist was even surprised by how high they were billing the insurance for each procedure. Maybe it's to help pay for all the fancy equipment they have there (teeth cameras, special vibrating teeth cleaning devices, etc). And if I was told one more time about the slight coffee stains on the back of my teeth, I was gonna scream. Yes, I drink one cup of coffee a day and the stains are on the BACK! read more

I hate to write this review, because we love Dr. Reza but my daughter came out crying. She said the hygienist told her she was disgusted with her and kept grunting and dramatically sighing. My daughter is 10 (and has never had a cavity). Who acts like that? Then she said she didn't have time for my sons appointment because despite his age (13), he is just too big. Wth? Dr Reza is very friendly and an extraordinary dentist. I consider myself a very sensitive patient, and unlike many other "Doc Sawbones" in the valley, Dr Reza has mastered the art of administrating injections with minimal discomfort. I also very much appreciate that he seats and adjusts crowns himself instead of an assistant like many other offices. He takes the time to make sure the "fit and finish" is just perfect to make sure it feels like your own natural tooth and it belongs. Dr Reza is an exceptionally good communicator both during the procedure (so you feel more comfortable because you know what's going on) and with his follow up.
